Great for their profit margin; use cheap labor and materials and sell at the same price! Ecco, do you know what is going on in China? Not care?This is my last Ecco purchase.

The comfort and fit was the same as the pair that I purchased in the retail store. The style and look of the shoe was similar to that that I saw when I ordered. I’ll buy more pairs.

I owned a pair of these in black nubuck for over 2 years and found them to be the most comfortable and durable semi-casual dress shoes I’ve ever owned. My only complaint is they make so much noise when walking over linoleum floors. Perhaps I was naive to believe they would have done something to the sole design to fix this, but I bought another pair because they feel so great. It just isn’t worth it for all the noise they make, especially at this price. It’s a shame, I’ll have to return them.

Very nice shoes with excellent styling and leather. They look great with slacks or jeans. Very tough break in period for me, though. Blisters on the back of my heels and tight. The leather around the ball of my feet also pinched while I walked making my feet hurt. Great arch support and cushion sole. After two weeks they are finally settling in.
I got a new job position where the dress code is business casual, I had a bunch of oxfords & derby style lace up dress shoes, that I’ve worn once or twice, but when having to wear to work every day through the work week, I realized real quick what a pain in the butt it was to break those in. Talk about blisters galore. I came across these and thought, well, these look dressy enough to still go with my slacks and button down, but the comfort factor seems to be there as well. Got them during the sale, and def worth every penny. Probably will get them in every color! They feel a little bulky.. but not a big deal. Feels like walking on clouds.
Purchased this shoe for my brother and he said he wore them for the first time on a long assembly day at school. He's a teacher. He said that when he went to take them off he thought he was wearing his tennis shoes and realized it was his nice ECCO shoes and was very impressed. He said they're very comfortable and look nice.
The Hybrid Derby was recommended by an Orthopedic Doctor for comfort and support. Although expensive so far the shoes are in fact comfortable, provide support and help to reduce foot pain from standing for long periods of time. After breaking in he shoes I realize that I should have gone down one size from an EU 44 to an EU 43 as after wear the Derby loosens up resulting in heel slip when walking.
Here's the deal. I will be happy to take a photo of my closet and show you I have about 12-15 pair of your shoes. Your golf shoes, they don't fit me very well, so bummer. The regular shoes, I wear a 14, but you rarely have anything so it's been a bummer for me and not too good for you unless of course you just don't care. I never get a discount from you for my loyalty and for me to remain loyal to a company without product and doesn't thank me seems fruitless. Best shoes, but not a lot of love coming from you.
My new Hybrid Derbies are excellent. Fit is good, color is perfect and comfort way above normal. I made a good choice. To be fair, I’ve been wearing Ecco’s as a walking shoe for years. I just knew the Hybird would provide similar service.
Quite simply, the most comfortable shoes I have EVER worn. I have four pairs of these. Their styling bridges upper casual and business casual seamlessly, making them incredibly versatile. They wear well and are durable. Well worth it!
