So I used to have a 75 ft extension cord running out to my tool shed that plugged into a 20 amp generator inlet. I didn't want to deal with trenching and running a line so I figured I would experiment going off grid with this product and some solar panels. I will list the good and bad below with each issue I ran intoCharging the generator: I used 4x200 watt solar panels on the roof and ran them to the machine. One the best day so far I have gotten about 475 watts input on the solar panels and have two facing east and two facing west since I am looking for the longest input not the highest. It charges just fine without any issue. At dusk I can hear a relay clicking which I looked up and other users have reported it is the solar generator recognizing some minor input ... MoreSo I used to have a 75 ft extension cord running out to my tool shed that plugged into a 20 amp generator inlet. One the best day so far I have gotten about 475 watts input on the solar panels and have two facing east and two facing west since I am looking for the longest input not the highest. It charges just fine without any issue. At dusk I can hear a relay clicking which I looked up and other users have reported it is the solar generator recognizing some minor input by the solar panels but not enough to click over the charging aspect. I hope there is no long term issues with the relayApp: The app is amazing and I love it. The garage gets very mild wifi but the generator is able to pick up on it. Set up is a breeze and I can control the outlets, run time, charge capacity etc from the app. It is very convenient.Power: The power is absolutely amazing. I have my garage hooked up with 6 Shop LED lights drawing about 300 watts and a fan on a seperate 15 amp circuit and a sump pump that is crucial for the drainage in the backyard + and any power tool you can imagine on a dedicated 20 amp circuit. The 20 amp I have a true HD 20 amp plug running into the inlet. I have turned on the lights, sump pump and air compressor all at once and this had no issue powering everything with zero start up lag. I turned the sump pump off and powered up the shop vac and measured the watts and was close to 1800 with the vac and compressor on. I am absolutely impressed with the power this thing can deliver and was super worried about it running these things however it shows no issue. I have faith it will power the table saw and miter saw without issue as both those machines draw a lower wattage and amps than what I experimented with.Run Time and Measurement issues: This is my biggest concern with this machine is I don't feel the battery capacity is a true 2kwh design. I have a "kill a watt" measurement tool and it is measuring my sump pump at 680 watts however this is measuring the same pump at almost 800 watts. That is a huge discrepancy and it seems like there is a markup of watts in anything it is running. For example my bug zapper on the kill a watt measures at approximately 60 watts but on the generator it is pulling 78 watts. It is almost like anything drawing current is marked up by almost 15-20%.Another major issue I have is the machines draw on itself while just sitting there. My shed has a constant draw of around 5 watts (measured with the kill a watt machine) when everything is off. This should mean that with nothing running I should still get roughly 16 days off the machine with nothing running. That isn't the case as it will run itself down in about 2.5 days without anything powered on. That means the generator itself is drawing a considerable amount of power just to keep itself on whether that is to keep it connected to wifi or keep the fan going etc. Not sure why but that just feels unnaceptable to me. I will go to bed and it will be at 100% and I will wake up and it will be at roughly 82%. That makes it really tough to be reliable in the winter when I am not getting a huge solar input. I am worried that it won't be able to keep up with the draw let alone power the sump pump and anything else needed during that time frame.I could get another battery to supplement this but you are limited to 800 watt solar input and to charge almost 4kwh isn't going to happen on the best day in the winter where I live. That is a huge cautionary tale for anyone looking at this for off grid.

This EcoFlow Delta Max 2000 power station is a beast -- well-designed, well-made, and powerful. For my application (protecting the contents of a home refrigerator in the event of a power outage), it is a very good fit. The choice of an NMC lithium-ion battery helps keep the weight down, since NMC batteries have higher energy density than LFP batteries, which would be better suited for applications (e.g., camping), where the battery would experience more discharge cycles. For my 28 cu. ft. refrigerator, whose original yellow energy guide claims an estimated energy usage of 722 kWh per year, the average power consumption is 82.4 watts (722000/(365*24)). In that case, the 2016 watt-hour capacity of the Delta Max 2000 would run the refrigerator for over 24 hours. I keep the refrigerator plugged in to the power station 24/7. (The power station is located in the basement directly below the fridge.) This power station has several nice features, including pass-through charging (so that it can operate and charge simultaneously), fast charging, lots of outlets of different types, informative display, multiple options for charging, expandable, and a very useful app for monitoring and controlling the device. This is a good product.

Overall I'm impressed. I had a few "glitches" but so far Ecoflow has been responsive and I've worked around them. My first issue was a shipping one, and once I got hold of Ecoflow support they promptly got my order shipped out and arrived in good condition. Upon arrival, I didn't realize they now only include the 120V mains and 12V lighter car-input cable. The solar-input cable is sold separately, so I had to order one of those before I could use my existing panels. I also ran into an issue where the app wouldn't let me type more than 30 characters in a WiFi password, which they are working on fixing. The workaround is just set your network to have a password that isn't as long. Once I got everything though I was quite impressed. It successfully powered ~1600-1700 ... MoreOverall I'm impressed. It successfully powered ~1600-1700 watts of our essential devices with an estimated runtime of about 50 minutes from full charge. I used the same adapter I have for an inverter-generator to connect the Ecoflow to my home-transfer switch and it worked as expected. I was also very pleased to see it charged up from my existing portable generator at it's full charge-rate. In my area the sun is at a very low angle and it's been partly-cloudy so I can't say how well the solar input works but I was able to get about 25 watts of charging so I know it does work. I also was able to verify it works correctly charging at about 98 watts from the car-charger input. Overall, this is doing exactly what I expected, and I think I may get one of the expansion batteries. My goal isn't to run everything but just have lower levels of power and run my generator on/off to stretch the fuel supply. I know my load is especially high and I'm not expecting super-long runtime on battery nor totally running off solar. I'm happy with my purchase.

This unit is powerful, portable and some what compact. The 2000 watt hour version I bought can handle a lot of power needs to run most home appliances or power tools during a power outage or working in the field where there is no electricity available. It weighs about 48 lbs. compared to my other power station from another company with similar battery capacity and features that weighs about 68 lbs. Charges much quicker and you can adjust the speed of the charge, also. Can be charged with solar up to 800 watts. Also comes with a car charging cable, power cable, solar MC4 type cable, instruction manual and warranty card. The only thing you need to be aware of, is the power amount you are using and for how long because the higher the power used, the faster you drain the battery. If you buy the solar panels to recharge your unit it will last a lot longer during the day, assuming there is good sun light available. Has an app to control unit, remotely. Overall, I'm very happy with this product.

I spent months reviewing solar generators, back and forth, it almost drove me crazy but I wanted to get it right the first time. So Ecoflow was my choice hands down. The quality, capacities, charge rates, the whole shibang. I am still building my system starting out with 2 Ecoflow Max 2000's and 4 160 solar panels. I eventually want to add a couple of the expandable batteries. I tested a full charge battery on my 21 cubic foot fridge overnite and after about 12 hours the battery still had 47% charge on it and that blew me away! Now why I wish I found these 18 months earlier is because at that time I bought a new dual fuel generator which can power the whole house including central air and now its pretty much obsolete! Of course I can't run the A/C off the solar units but once bought, there is no further cost! I hate to sell the gas generator, I like it just to have it (I'm that way with most things I own) but I've used it only once to drill some holes. But Ecoflow, the best I've ever researched and am 100% pleased with the purchase and highly recommend.

The DELTA Max 2000 is an amazing product that has been designed to provide you with a reliable and efficient source of power when you need it most. I recently purchased this power station for my family’s camping trip, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with its performance. One of the best things about this product is its capacity. With a whopping 2016Wh capacity and a peak output of 3300W, this power station is capable of powering all your essential devices and appliances during power outages or when you’re off the grid. We were able to charge our phones, laptops, and even our mini-fridge without any issues. Another great feature of this product is its fast charging time. It can be fully charged in just two hours using the X-Stream charging technology. ... MoreThe DELTA Max 2000 is an amazing product that has been designed to provide you with a reliable and efficient source of power when you need it most. What I love most about this product is its compatibility with solar panels. We were able to use our solar panels to charge the power station during the day and use it at night when there was no sun. This made it an eco-friendly option for us as we were able to reduce our carbon footprint. The unit is also lightweight and portable, making it easy to carry around wherever you go. We were able to take it with us on our camping trip without any issues. Overall, I would highly recommend the DELTA Max 2000 to anyone who needs a reliable source of power for their devices and appliances. It’s efficient, portable, eco-friendly, and has exceeded all my expectations.

Good Value For The Price!

Now why I wish I found these 18 months earlier is because at that time I bought a new dual fuel generator which can power the whole house including central air and now its pretty much obsolete! Of course I can't run the A/C off the solar units but once bought, there is no further cost! I hate to sell the gas generator. Will get to full charge in about 3 hours. Can run a refrigerator for up to 36 hours. I ran some lights, wifi and various electronics for 5 hours and drew the battery down to 40%. Solar panels work well. Slower charge and you need sunlight but in sun it charge about 10-15% an hour. It is heavy but easy to carry. Great for power interruptions for shorter periods or for portable power needs.I like it just to have it (I'm that way with most things I own) but I've used it only once to drill some holes. But Ecoflow, the best I've ever researched and am 100% pleased with the purchase and highly recommend.
