Ecology Ottawa Calico 12 Piece Dinner Set

I love this dining set. It's heavy which I love and looks great on the table. If your after something that's a genuine pottery look, it may not be for you.The big downside is that it doesn't fit in the dishwasher. What I did is bent my dishwasher rungs so that the plates are leaning however it only fits about 5 plates with the lean.

I love this dinner set by Ecology! An earthy handmade feel to it and a bonus is it fits perfectly in my dishwasher. Will be expanding my set with the calico colour. Fantastic quick delivery.

Love the design and the glaze as it matches the bark colour of my beloved Eucalypt trees outside my kitchen window, LOVE that unexpected Connection. Really like size& shape of bowls, beautiful with pumpkin soup in them! I feel the size of the dinner plates is too big, a bit ugly, unnecessary, needs to be less in diameter, 1st World Problem! Overall, REALLY happy with comforting, rustic vibe in these challenging times! Thank you so much T&W

Gorgeous colour. Exactly what I've been looking for. Not too rustic, but a classy organic, handmade look. Packaging was brilliant. Fast delivery. T & W never fail to supply endless choices of quality items!

Love this set. They are unique and earthy. They don't stack in the dishwasher very well as the lip of the plates make it difficult and the bowl shape also doesn't lend itself to each stacking. With that said, I still love them.

Attractive dinner crockery

Dinner sets without the mandatory cups and saucers are very welcome. Plates and bowls are all I needed and this set took the biscuit. Well weighted and a super smooth finish - attractive to the eye as well. I bought 3 sets - two for daily use and the third as a source for replacements as the inevitable accidents will happen.

Bad quality

As soon as we started using the Ecology Malta dinner set pieces started to chip. They scratch and fade as well. They also break very easily. I’m stunned that David Jones would stock something this bad. It’s a hassle to replace them, so I’ll just keep using them until they’ve all broken and then find a better alternative at another store.

Dinnerware Ecologoy review

Colour was much lighter than indicated....more mauve than navy. The plates varied in depth of colour from each other. There were also different patchy textures on the dinnerware; it looked like it has be scrubbed with a scouring brush or very worn. Very disappointed

Love these. I particularly like the Matt finish. I also bought some green ones in same style, but unfortunately they were not Matt and I must not have noticed that in the item description. Dinner plate is a little on the large side to fit comfortably in our dishwasher.

Poor quality dinner set

I have the Ecology Malta dinner sets in Linen and Sage, purchased at the same time. Both chip easily, and the Linen cannot cope with cutlery and marks terribly: not what one needs in a dinner set. Additionally, cling film won't stick to this stoneware! I will definitely not purchase this brand again.
