I do like the electric collar itself. I don't think everyone should throw out the instructions and watch the Leerberg collar on YouTube to learn about the collar. I also bought the bungee collar for ease to put on and ensure proper fit. I do not like the buckle that it has. I have had collars with these buckles and they can come off. A proper buckle would also hold the strap from flying straight up in the air. I took pictures with my dog wearing it and the included buckle and a proper buckle, but I don't know how to attach them.

I have had ecollar for almost 2 years now. Started with the mini and was upgraded to the pro. I kind of like the mini better. There are lots of features I love on this. It does what it says it will do.My complaints are as follows:1.)You can't really use the light function; it is not easy to do on the fly. I liked the ease of turning on the light with my mini educator, which I liked better than this model overall.2.)It has randomly reprogrammed itself twice now. one of the times this happened after charging; I noticed that two buttons were not working... turns out it had put itself onto 2 dog mode and those buttons were for (nonexistent) dog 2.3.)It does not float. We swim a lot. I keep it around my neck but I worry about losing it.4.) There is no version for ... MoreI have had ecollar for almost 2 years now. Started with the mini and was upgraded to the pro. There is no version for left handed people. The good: I hear that it is better than other brands. The customer service can't be beat. When my mini educator stopped working correctly, they replaced it and upgraded me to this model. They also replaced my collar and receiver when the receiver battery went out. First, they sent me the wrong battery, but instead of just sending me the correct battery, they sent me a new collar receiver; even better. They are always friendly and helpful if you have an issue. It seems to be a good company. I am happy with my purchase and overall happy with the product despite the couple of hiccups.

Unlike other brands, I haven't found any complaints about dogs getting burned or falsely "shocked" when it wasn't intended, and that's been my experience as well since I bought my first one a few years ago and recently upgraded to this Pro model. My dog is deaf and I purchased the educator mostly because it was also one of the few collars with a vibrate function so that I can get the dog's attention without a punishment. But the stimulation works as well since my dog doesn't hear "No" and the ability for a momentary or ramping stimulation is perfect for not being cruel to an animal that can't get auditory warnings.Programming by USB cable connected to my PC was one of the easiest interfaces I've ever worked with and was a great way to customize how the remote ... MoreUnlike other brands, I haven't found any complaints about dogs getting burned or falsely "shocked" when it wasn't intended, and that's been my experience as well since I bought my first one a few years ago and recently upgraded to this Pro model. My dog is deaf and I purchased the educator mostly because it was also one of the few collars with a vibrate function so that I can get the dog's attention without a punishment. In fact, my son accidentally reprogrammed some buttons trying to turn the light on. Which brings me to the other (albeit minor) complaint, it is extremely confusing and difficult reprogramming from the remote, especially when compared to doing so by computer.Another reason I bought the Pro series is because it can add additional dogs/collars in the future and intend to do so. I haven't tested the system with two dogs yet, but it looks like it's a system that also could use some improvement.

This remote is good, and a step up from the yellow circle remote. However, the reason I purchased this remote was in hopes to have 4 different constant settings. For example I wanted 05, 10, 15, & 20 for constant. There are 4 S buttons so they should be independent of each other. If there is a way to do this please let me know. Also, there should be a stand alone button for the LED light. Costumer service is the best I have talked to over the phone in years. I had a couple of questions when I first got the remote and the customer service lady was extremely helpful. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to buy an e-collar.

I was skeptical when reading the reviews of the ecollar but when I tried it out I found the ecollar amazing. From the first time I put it on my dog he responded to my commands. During training I leave the ecollar on all day so that he is used to having it on. The ecollar has made training off the leash much easier. It has exceeded my expectations!

This collar and remote is not as difficult as some YouTube videos may lead you to believe. It works well and the range is excellent. Our dog responds when she is in the back yard over a 1000’ away. An issue is the turn dial is sensitive and can be rubbed to a different number but you can nullify the issue if you set the stimulation intensity, so no need to worry. There are a few options I would choose now after having this for the past half year, GPS location in the collar (it does emit a sound if it’s been lost after about 6 hours) and a screen to show the dogs location on the remote. Since we’ve got this we’ve also put in a wireless fence to keep our dog out of the neighbors yards, since the remote and collar is only a viable solution if your actively ... MoreThis collar and remote is not as difficult as some YouTube videos may lead you to believe. The collar should be plugged in every night which seems to be average compare to others.

Ordered an E collar pro and I couldn't be happier. I bought it at a great price with fast and free shipping. Typically I avoid electronic gadhets like this because i hate the setup and programming process but i watched a YouTube tutorial video and it really made programming the collar a breeze. My dog responds well to it and its nice to let the dog have a little freedom but also have the ability to correct her when needed. I highly recommend educator collars

This collar works wonderfully. Just don't put it to tight around your dog's neck. Both shock and vibrating work very well. I would advise trainers to use this collar. Especially if you are interested in bite work.

I have been using cheaper collars from amazon previously. So far, I would say I am happy with this purchase. Hopefully this product lasts a lot longer than the cheap amazon ones as it was much much more expensive.Pros:-The overall quality of this collar is great.-Lots of features and customization.Cons:-There are more features so there is a bit of a learning curve to setting it up.-No adjustable setting for beep and vibrate. It would be nice to see adjustability like the shock.-Lazy Charging System: For the price there should be a better charging system. The remote charges with Micro USB which is very outdated and should be USB-C by now. The collar has a circular charger so now you have 2 strange charging cables for this system. I would like to see wireless charging on the collar so it can be as watertight as possible.-Touching the remote to the collar to turn it off and on is a little inconvenient.

Excellent, high tech e collar. Love the reachable features, the others I used required constant lithium batteries, very expensive! This was a bit difficult to program as I am older and not so tech savvy but was able to do with a couple you tube videos. DEFINATELY corrects behavior, amazingly.
