If you have an Ego 56 Volt, 21" Lawn Mower, this blade is essential. Especially if you bag your grass trimmings, this blade dramatically improves lift/vacuum while mowing. Even if you don't bag the grass cuts much cleaner because it lifts the grass better. I highly recommend this Blade. One Tip: the threads on the Ego Blade Bolt are NORMAL threads, not reverse threads like most mowers.

This blade is definitely better than the original one that came with the 21" EGO battery-powered lawn mower LM2101. It picks up more clippings. I don't sense much increase in the sound at all. But I wish I could use the dual cutting blades of the EGO Select Cut lawn mower.

This is just what my ego mower needed. Mows 100× better. No grass laying down and ejector shoot no longer clogs. Surprisingly i use way less battery power then before also.
As far as cutting the grass, the blade works well. The issue is that this replacement blade design does not allow for good mulching, which requires multiple passes to mulch the clippings. Unlike the original blade that comes with the mower, this blade is flat and solid, and this particular Ego mower does not have enough vacuum for a flat blade to mulch.
The Ego comes with the mulching blade which works pretty good, but tends to leave lots of uncut pieces of grass on taller cuts such as fescue. This "bagging" blade used in "mulching mode" (no bag, and discharge plug installed), works tons better as it "suctions" up the grass more and pulls up any grass that is laying down from the wheel tracks. Leaves longer pieces of cut grass than the mulching blade, but overall, lawn looks way better.
Bought a mower touted tobe a mulcher and bagger.Cut was uneven and irregular. Called EGOas they have no email access and was told to buy another blade(25.00) and problem would be fixed. Mower cuts more even but will not mulch. Am fed up with this whole deal. My old Toro bagged and mulched for 15 years, was lighter and worked perfectly.
This blade definitely picks up more than the standard blade. Ran it over the seed hulls from my bird feeders and it removed way more than the standard blade. Also seemed to remove much more of last year's zoysia than the standard blade. Must have if you bag your clippings.
The eco high lift mower blade does exactly as it is described. I used it in place of the mulching blade and it discharges the clippings out the side discharge chute very well. The high lift blade is as thick as a standard gas lawn mower blade which does cause the mower to run at a higher RPM and does reduce the mowing time as I had to recharge the battery after about 45 min apposed to the more than 60 min with the thinner mulching blade.
I had incorrectly ordered the two blade pack. When I went to install the 'kit', I realized my error and got this blade instead. After installing it, it worked very nicely.My 'factory' blade seemed to be leaving grass clippings on the lawn instead of moving them into the bag. This one leaves a very clean lawn. My neighbor has the 'same' mower and still uses the original blade. All I have to do it look at his lawn to be reminded why I purchased this blade.It can be a little difficult to get real tight. I did install/tighten and then would mow for a minute or two and check the blade to see if it needed to be tighter.
