I have been trialing the QV face nurturing night cream for about 2 weeks now and am happy to say that my skin looks and feels smoother, firmer and more radiant. The Qv face night cream comes in a clear glass jar and weighs 50 g. The cream itself is white in colour and is very thick in texture and a little goes a long way. It is very easy to use and it gets absorbed in the skin very easily. The great thing about this product is that it is Australian made and owned. It is free from any soap, fragrance, colour and common irritants. It is perfect for dry and sensitive skin as it has vitamin B3 complex to help reduce skin sensitivity, safflower oil to replenish moisture levels and it does not block pores. This cream has triple moisturising formula to replenish vital moisture that is lost during the day and improves your skins elasticity and minimises the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while you sleep. Every night after cleansing my face and neck with the QV Face Gentle Cleanser, I have been applying a layer of the QV face nurturing night cream over my face and neck every night before going to bed so it can gently hydrate my sensitive skin and now my skin looks visibly radiant, smooth and firm.

I have skin that is ageing but also has an oily T Zone and some dry and even dehydrated areas around my mouth and eyes too. I also have some normal areas. This night cream works well right across all areas though I do love to use a serum underneath it so that I get an extra boost of hydration. I used this generously and in tandem with the QV Gentle Cleanser and on it's own without a serum I found by morning my skin wasn't getting the deeper hydration it was used to because I normally use a night serum under my night cream. So I moved back to using a serum under this night cream and it worked much better for me. I then never went back to using this night cream just on it's own as it just wasn't hydrating on it's own enough for me. It's got a gorgeous feel to it - it's light to medium weight as I apply it to the skin but it also feels like it's nurturing enough. By morning, as mentioned above, I did learn for me that I'm best to use a serum underneath it. It's easy to spread onto the skin and all over my dry neck too. I love that it contains some vitamin B3 complex too which makes it not overly simple but has some added benefit as well for the skin. This ingredient in particular is great for skin that has had a treatment or sunburn or the likes because it helps to de-sensitise the skin (so the science goes) so I would find t his night cream ideal for use after I've done a microneedling treatment or the likes. I have pimple prone skin also so because this cream is non-comedogenic it doesn't clog my pores which is great!The simple classic jar comes boxed with information on the box itself which makes it easy to read if you are just in the shops and want to read about it.

Although this product is so gentle, it is extremely effective and I will definitely continue to use. I see this product generally retails around the $15 - $20 mark which is a great buy for the benefits you get. I am so glad that I have tried such a beneficial product. The packaging is lovely and simple - a nice glass jar with silver lid, and although it's a super thick very white cream, it's almost uniquely matte when it's applied leaving the skin very soft and well-moisturised but not at all greasy - it melts in very quickly. It's unscented (though there is a faint whiff of paraffin - like a candle - which isn't unpleasant), and contains some nourishing ingredients like safflower oil. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now every night and my dry-tending sensitive skin is hydrated and not irritated- eg no breakouts which I often get when I try new products. The product does seem to work very well, and I would rebuy in a flash but I'm reluctant to put this on my skin on the regular. I'm sure their petroleum is purified and probably safe to use - they are chemists after all, but I still don't like it in my skincare for a range of reasons which I won't list here but which can be very easily looked up - there have been plenty of studies about the possible long term implications of using these ingredients on your skin. That said, if you aren't worried about the ingredients, this cream does work very well in moisturising skin and is a high quality night cream.

Heavily moisturising night creme

The QV face nurturing night cream comes in a lovely little glass tub with a white lid.The labelling and colouring is much the same as the cleanser in this range, quite basic and simple. Again as with the cleanser, I feel this product may be more appealing with some change to color or design.I do not often use a specific night cream, most times I apply a skin oil or serum and a normal day moisturiser.This QV night cream has quite a heavy thick consistency when you open the jar. There is no strong smell or perfume which I liked. It is white, and easy to apply once on the fingertips.I found this cream applied much easier straight after a shower, or when applied to damp skin. I havent noticed a long term change as yet, no change in texture or appearance of my skin but it is nice to use a product that doesnt irritate sting or make my skin red. I will continue to use this night cream to see if my skin changes at all with further use.

My favorite Night Cream!

This is my favorite cream. It best suits my sensitive skin. I use it at night after washing my face with the QV gentle face wash from the same range. This just glides on like magic, instantly absorbing into the skin. It has got ceramides in it which is very good for your skin. It hydrates the skin so well. It has not caused any breakouts for me. It has got rid of breakouts and blemishes on my face. It just works like magic for my skin. This is a part of my daily night skincare routine, which I would never ever want to change. Do try this. I recommend trying this nurturing night cream from QV Face.

I was so grateful to receive this as part of a trial team. I'm closer to 50 than I am to 30 so a night cream is definitely required. My skin care routine involves more steps than the path to the Buddhist Temple where Ace Ventura does his slinky in When Nature Calls. This presented a problem. How should I review this no nonsense night cream? Should I cut out the 17 steps between cleansing and moisturiser and review it, or just sub it in for the cream I'm already using?I decided to try both ways.It's a nice jar - looks solid and slightly lux. No discernible smell but I have allergies at the moment so don't trust me on that. It feels light yet substantial and goes on beautifully. I did experience a little congestion in my nose though.When I went bare bones cleanser to moisturiser I expected to experience all sorts of adverse effects. Um, I did not. My skin was calm and moisturised and the redness around my irritated nose lessened. Happy news? Not really, what am I doing spending all that money on the other stuff, but you'll need to prise my retinoids out of my cold dead hands.
