Just installed the Ekodeck Designer series and it looks amazing. I am a landscaper and have installed a lot of decks and I must say, the ease of installation and the boards being absolutely straight (no cupping or twists) along with the concealed clip system made the installation very easy and straight forward.My client was over the moon and could not be happier. Their previous Merbau deck was hard for them to maintain and costly in the upkeep. They were so pleased knowing that the Ekodeck has very low maintenance and does not need to be oiled or sanded like their old timber deck.As a tradesperson, I would highly recommend Ekodeck and will definitely be using in the future and recommending to my clients.

Recently built a 45m2 deck for our alfresco area with approx 70 x lengths of Ekodeck.Very easy to install with the clips and each length is straight unlike real timber like merbau.We went with Ekodeck instead of merbau as we dont have any roof over the deck so real timber would have required a lot of maintenance to keep in good condition.Ekodeck was more expensive but will probably work out cheaper not having to oil it every 6 months like merbau.Very happy with the finished result !

I have a background in the construction industry and the finish product is beautiful. It was easy to instal and extremely solidOnly down side I found is the screws which come in the quick fix box are extremely cheap and nasty, a fair few snapped mid way through drilling which meant the length of deck needed to be lifted and re installed

After watching the Ekodeck “how to” videos, it was pretty easy to install. The quality of the product is awesome. It is much easier if you have two people installing as the Ekodeck is pretty heavy and hard to carry by yourself as it flexes a lot. The finish is incredible and well worth the additional cost over timber for the low maintenance
Very happy with the ekodeck Leatherwood. Looks great. Makes a mess to cut the boards, but otherwise easy to install. Used the 3mm quick fix system and looks great. They really do expand in the sun. Needed at least 3mm gap (end to end) and they expanded the I'll gap. Yet to see it's longevity or scratch or stain resistance, but I'm hopeful. They are hot to touch in the sun, but I think all composite is. I don't know if it's worse than real wood or not.
It seemed like a good idea at the time, id already been warned that they get very hot but that wasnt really an issue for me, what i should have done was to take a look up close at the finish of the product, if you look in detail the surface is covered in thousands of fine plastic hairs that serve to trap any dust or particles that land on it and within days of washing its dirty again. It also marks and stains very easily and now really regret buying it , i should have installed Murbau. Its a pity because with just a little bit more effort it could have been a good product. Comes down to the old adage let the buyer beware.
Weekend job over existing front porch. Boards are heavy which to me indicates quality. Easy to cut and lay. Note the board is alpine ash on one side and ironwood on the other. You can mix and match the colours as you please. I was worried about being slippery when wet but they are not. Next to do the back yard.
Installed this on request from the customer - wasn't convinced, but after seeing it installed I'm a convert. Looks awesome - the finished product speaks for itself. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Bunnings didn't have sufficient stock at any store for me to complete my project so I had to wait 4 weeks for new stock to arrive after xmas. Second issue, ran out of 3mm clips to attach the decking and you cannot purchase them any other way than the 250 clips in the 100lm box for about $170. (also in limited stock at Bunnings). Luckily I contacted Ekodeck directly and they have sent me out some free of charge in the mail.Thirdly for some reason they only make the facia/edging boards for the middle range decking so you will need to try to match a contrasting colour board to finish off your decking.Other than these issues I am very happy with the product. This is my third attempt at decking. It was a pain to get everything straight and drilled. This is more like Lego to construct and turns out perfect. The only negative is the wife now wants the rest done in the same way
