Electro-Voice EV PXM-12MP Powered Speaker 12inch 700W Coaxial Monitor

Great tone and features. Multiple uses. It works really well in conjuction with my Evolve 30's as vocal monitor or it is also posible to use it as a guitar cabinet with it's multiple effects. It also a very powerful speaker, so you may place it on a tripod and use it as such. There is a hole build in at the bottom of the cabinet.

This monitor is perfect for gigs and indoor practice at home. Its is portable a little heavy but reasonable.

Awesome Monitor

What an awesome monitor!! Used on singer for Neil Diamond tribute Plays acoustic as well and he loved how well he could hear vocals and acoustic so well over band Will buy more to replace my cheaper monitors. Test run a success!!

Big Sound, Small Footprint

Love it silky smooth great sound experience. Amazes me that sound from a small enclosure. Features loaded highly recommend this speaker.

Excellent overall, but....

Sounds great but was expecting Bluetooth control like the DSP other EV products. Much easier to adjust when you don't have to get in the floor. Epic oversight on EV's part.

Goes where other can't

When the choice is either an in ear system or floor monitor then the floor monitor has to be right I knew I needed a Coax speaker and NOT a horn with woofer system. After much research comparing the EV with RCF and FBT and some others the EV was the only one with 90 degree output. This means as a singer you can move "off axis" and still get great monitoring. The others were all 60 degrees which are perfect for a singer/guitarist or keyboard player or backing singer that doesn't move around and they won't spill to the next person on stage.The PMX goes loud and you can hear it over a large area. You can be right in front, standing over it or over on one side its still gives you all you need. The sound does not fatigue your ears like horn systems do.
