I think this is a good washer and bought the matching dryer (make sure they both have clear glass fronts or you'll get the new model for the dryer which won't match). However, the washer vibrates like crazy even with a medium-size load of cotton clothes, one bath towel, a kitchen mat with no backing, and a lingerie bag, which is what I tend to wash every other day. My comparable Maytag which went kaput didn't vibrate like this ever, let alone with an everyday load. I keep things on top of the washer in a container so they don't fly onto the floor. If this washer weren't so heavy, it would be walking around. I decided the floor under the machine was kinda soft and sponge and might be the problem. I removed the old flooring, carpeting and linoleum that was under the washer and dryer, previously installed by the homeowners before us. I glued and screwed a new piece of 3/4” sub floor and made sure the floor felt solid. Installed the machine again making sure I followed the instructions completely. Gave the machine a test run and it work great with just a small rattle noise when spinning. I found one packing nut that missed removeing from the back of the machine, and that fixed the small rattling noise. We have had the machine for a month now and it works flawlessly, on all cycles. The machine is smooth, quiet, and cleans the clothes better than any machine I have ever owned. Buying a new machine was a tough decision and I hope this review may help anybody that trying to find a good washing machine.

Honestly, I thought I wanted to go back to a top load HE washer, because our previous front loader had issues with mold in/on the seal, but the Electrolux has openings at the bottom of the seal to drain any water from it. I also know that washing comforters and blankets isn't a good idea in a top loader...even if it doesn't have an agitator. (I had previous machines that always got off-balance from large items.) I also know that washing comforters and blankets isn't a good idea in a top loader...even if it doesn't have an agitator. (I had previous machines that always got off-balance from large items.) So we chose this machine, and we're so happy with it. I love that it has a sanitize cycle as well. Be sure to take time to read the manual, as there is a lot to benefit from with this machine. Secondly...highly recommended to use only the lowest measurement of detergent for a very large load, and maybe 1 tablespoon of fabric softener max. Ask any appliance repair person and they'll agree and explain why. The sales person recommended that it's best to mix your detergent (liquid or dry) with a little hot water as you pour it in the machine, as this is needed to activate most detergent brands. (I pour some in from a cup at the same time that I pour in the detergent from the bottle lid.) It makes a nice difference. There is one thing...the spin cycle is pretty strong if you choose "high" speed, and the sound is like a fast propeller, so don't have the machine running when you're trying to go to sleep. Otherwise, it's super on all counts!

Another thing I noticed is that compared to the top load washer I previously owned the Electrolux gives me a more noticeable even wash, it is especially noticeable on fleece and certain other fabrics. I don't really have any whites to wash but I do have white lettering on one of my pullover hoodies, without even thinking about it when I pulled the hoodie out of the dryer and held it up, it was like hey I never noticed this before the lettering is really white, a clean white. It's like everything I wanted out of a washer, including all the other great features this Electrolux Washer is the Perfect Washer.
I am listing little issues below not because they should warn anyone off the product - just feedback on a few customer reactions. Overall the unit certainly seems to wash properly and has all the wash options - and more- we had on our past (other brand) unit.I like the extra rinse option as even with proper detergent measuring some build up can occur over time especially with lots of the loads running on cold.The lighted drum is handy.The optional pedestal is a big help.The way the back cover is formed makes it a bit limiting on how (at which angle) one can attach right angle supply hoses.The discharge hose was too short for my situation and adding an extension was a non-trivial bit of work. I wish you supplied a longer - cut to fit - discharge hose.I was used to our old direct drive front loader which was able to rock back and forth to help release clothing after the spin cycle. So the user needs to be sure to manually spin the drum and look for items stuck on the top of the drum.The touch panels are a bit too sensitive so if you brush against the face, like reaching above the unit for something, you can inadvertently change wash settings. I think these “buttons” should require longer contact.One can only turn the signal chime off and on. No volume adjustment that I could find. Would be handy to have that option for those of use with reduced hearing ability.
