We purchased our washer on November 26, 2022, and as of today 12/20/2023 the washer is leaking out of the bottom portion of the unit. We use our washer like a normal family of 4 would. Nothing crazy, nothing oversized like comforters (mainly because theyre a pain to dry). Just regular use. There was an off smell today, so I set the mode for “clean washer” and now there is water leaking out. It looks as though it has leaked before but it was under the washer and not visible unless you were to move the unit. The washer itself isnt bad, theres nothing to get excited over, normal bells and shistles for most washers these days. The warranty for repair and service is now up. Still have a parts warranty assuming there is no rust and the washer meets their requirements. ... MoreWe purchased our washer on November 26, 2022, and as of today 12/20/2023 the washer is leaking out of the bottom portion of the unit. [Rewarded Review] Amazing Deal!!
7 April 2024

I've had 3 washers and dryers over the last 8 years and all different brands. This is the 1st one that I can actually say that I've liked. It's quiet, quick and efficient. The basin is actually large enough to fit a king size, very fluffy comforter with no problems. The matching dryer also has lots of room and it dries the previously stated comforter in 1 shot. Before it would take me anywhere from 3 to 4 runnings on previous dryers to finally finish it. I can't tell you how wonderful it was to not take a whole day to dry that comforter!! The set was also pretty budget friendly at $1100 for the pair which was one of the lowest prices for front loader washers and dryers. I highly and enthusiastically recommend these to anyone!!!

[Rewarded Review] Extreme vibrating with everyday loads
14 January 2023

I think this is a good washer and bought the matching dryer (make sure they both have clear glass fronts or you'll get the new model for the dryer which won't match). However, the washer vibrates like crazy even with a medium-size load of cotton clothes, one bath towel, a kitchen mat with no backing, and a lingerie bag, which is what I tend to wash every other day. My comparable Maytag which went kaput didn't vibrate like this ever, let alone with an everyday load. I keep things on top of the washer in a container so they don't fly onto the floor. If this washer weren't so heavy, it would be walking around. I also wish there were a button to turn off the light as I prefer to keep my washer door open to avoid mold, but the light stays on for about 2 minutes which ... MoreI think this is a good washer and bought the matching dryer (make sure they both have clear glass fronts or you'll get the new model for the dryer which won't match). If this washer weren't so heavy, it would be walking around. I also wish there were a button to turn off the light as I prefer to keep my washer door open to avoid mold, but the light stays on for about 2 minutes which means it will burn out faster. I really don't need a light in a washer, but I know some like this feature. The washer is gently on clothes and does a great job of really cleaning regular loads and bulky items like puffer coats (and it has a ton of features which I really don't have a need for), but the intense vibrating mid-cycle is just too much. Another oddity is when it's using water, all the copper pipes in my home squeak, which never occurred previously and is making me nervous as my home is 45 years old. I had this professionally installed and it sits on a pedestal like my last washer, so I am unsure of what the issue is. I wish I could give it 5 stars like the matching dryer, but I can't. This washer had great reviews, so maybe I just got a dud.

[Rewarded Review] Good Washer With Some Differences
16 February 2024

I’ve completed around 6 loads in my new Electrolux washing machine thus far. It seems to do fine with cleaning. I will admit the clothes don’t smell as good after washing like my last Samsung. The soap dispenser is a bit janky from what I was used to, but easy enough. I don’t like how there is always water in the soap dispenser though. I keep the soap dispenser and washer door open after washing so that it dries out. You may not have that luxury due to room. It is quieter than my old Samsung which is nice. I have noted a burning rubber smell from the washer the last couple loads. It was noticeable the first time I kept the laundry room door closed. I hope it’s just because it’s new and that its “breaking in”. It’s not overwhelming by any stretch. I hope it’s just because it’s new and that its “breaking in”. It’s not overwhelming by any stretch. The thing I miss is the express wash from my old Samsung which was about 20 minutes. I used it all the time because a lot of loads the clothes aren’t really dirty. This has one too, but it requires and won’t allow you to change the spin cycle from MAX. It is also 15 minutes. On the Samsung I could reduce the spin speed. I have never used spin cycle above medium on this or any machine. Medium and even “low” are extremely fast on the Electrolux! For example, I washed a large blanket and I put it on low. I was so scared the entire time it ran because I knew it was a large bulky blanket. I heard it on one of the spins taxing the washer and making noise because it wasn’t equally distributed. The door actually looked like it was going to pop open. I couldn’t tell a difference on spin from medium to low. Anyway, I wish they would let me decide how low to go on spin on all cycles. This does not seem to handle large items as well as my old Samsung. The Samsung I had was still working but nearly 14 years old when I moved so I got new. The reviews on the new Samsungs were not good and Electrolux seemed much better. I just hope they last and I didn’t make a mistake. I would recommend it thus far, but just not a glowing recommendation. After reading countless reviews on all brands, it seems everything is just cheaply made these days and unless getting Speed Queen you are not going to have it for more than 5-7 years anyway.

[Rewarded Review] I LOVE this washing machine
8 April 2024

After having my previous, tiny washing machine for the better part of 15 years, it was time to upgrade. Originally, I did not want a front loader and was only looking at top loaders. However, I looked and looked and researched but couldn't find a single one that had good reviews across the board. Some had 500 5-star reviews but 150 one-star. What to believe? So, I figured I'd just look at side loaders and the 5-star reviews for the Electrolux were through the roof. I bought the set and absolutely LOVE THEM! I find myself doing laundry everyday now just because it's fun and I can tell how much cleaner everything is. I spent more than I wanted but am not disappointed at all.

[Rewarded Review] Love our Electrolux laundry pair

We purchased this new set to replace our elderly Electrolux washer and dryer. I love this new set and am excited to have the steam settings. They clean even better than our old Electrolux pair. There are only two minor things I wish were different with the new models:1. I wish the end of cycle chime were louder. I can't hear the chime in other areas of the house like I could with our older models.2. I wish that we had more color options than charcoal and white. Our older models were a gorgeous blue color and looked especially lovely in our gray and blue laundry room. The white ones look okay and I understand the supply chain issues, but the pretty colors sure made doing laundry more fun. When our older Electrolux models needed to be replaced we didn't even ... MoreWe purchased this new set to replace our elderly Electrolux washer and dryer. Bought this Electrolux after quite a bit of online research into which brands have the fewest breakdowns and issues. Online purchase through Elextrolux was easy. Called Electrolux sales/service several times throughout my online research process and delivery process and they were always quick and helpful. Delivery/installation went OK - the delivery and installation contractor RXO was just OK. They were friendly enough, but left some scratches and tried to pretend they were already there. No big deal. One caution: if you're planning to fit your washer/dryer to a small space know that dryer installation comes with a short rigid air duct. Suggest having a longer flexible duct (4" dia) on hand for more flexibility to move the washer in/out of the space after hookup. ... MoreBought this Electrolux after quite a bit of online research into which brands have the fewest breakdowns and issues. This is actually the second washer. The first one, I exchanged within the first 48 hours with Lowes. In the last 5 min of its final cycle, the drum would bang on the sides. Yes, it was balanced. Lowes gave me no issues and brought me a replacement within a couple of days. Speaking with someone at Lowes and the exchange was great. This second one didn't have that issue but I thought I had a different problem. Only when using the sanitary cylce at about 30 minutes remaining, it would never finish.
