This dryer is great economically and in functionality. Initially, I had damp clothes after the cycle. Give just-washed clothes a glance and a shake before tossing them into the dryer and this will remove damp clothes issue. The lint filter is very easy to clean. The sensor works really good. This enables the cycle to stop early if the clothes are dried. I have stacked this dryer on top of my front loader washing machine using Electrolux stacking kit. Overall, I am very happy with this dryer and would recommend anyone looking for heat pump dryer to give this a go.

Bought this to replace a 15year old Simpson. Can’t fault delivery, arrived next day, was unpacked by the delivery boys. They offered to install also, however I preferred to do this. Drier is an immediate hit with power consumption (or lack any of.) Says they are half consumption of a standard drier, we are finding 1/3rd compared to the old one. About 1k/wh when full or less.I reversed the door as I have an 8.5kg matching washer side by side to the drier, so makes unloading the washer and loading the drier a breeze. This is one of the few models that reverses direction when drying so sheets come out just fine, do your research with this problem if buying a heat pump drier. As noted everywhere, heat pumps do take longer than the old drier, but clothes come out much ... MoreBought this to replace a 15year old Simpson. Also senses load, so drying is rarely longer than it needs to be.Occasionally a sock or 2 may come out slightly damp to the touch (but not wet) however a few mins longer with the offending items sorts it quickly. Considering it can dry wool and all sorts of delicates, this is a minor and occasional inconvenience. No venting required for this drier (big plus) but there is still residual heat and a little moisture around the washer/drier when it’s running. The wifi connection is still in its infancy, it can only be connected to 1 device and doesn’t really tell you much, however is handy to let you know the load is finished or the water tank needs emptying. That said, it’s a clothes drier and really doesn’t need wifi to work flawlessly at drying clothes.Noise wise I’d say is on par or a little louder than the old drier. It isn’t loud by any stretch, but you can obviously hear the pumps running with the laundry door open. It is quieter than the washer however. Not an issue for us, but maybe for someone with a euro laundry. The depth of the unit might also be an issue for someone with doors over their washer/drier as in some euro laundries. The unit is deeper than a standard 600 cabinet (just the drier door is deeper) so you would need to measure that your cabinet is deep enough to fit.Overall this is a great product and I am very happy with it.

Had this dryer for about 1 month and it's great! Easy to use, quiet and no hot, humid air output. Water tank is easy to empty and everything is coming out fresh and so much softer, especially towels. Got burnt with a cheaper brand that didn't work when it arrived so change for this. Much better quality and absolutely recommend it, oh and wifi app is handy.

We bought this machine one month ago after having our laundry renovated. It is a fantastic machine. Easy to use. Dries the clothes beautifully and has a super stylish look. I also love the interior light and app feature, not to mention the amazing refresh function. Couldn’t be happier.
We have had this dryer for a couple of months now and it's performed better than I was expecting. We use is mostly for towels and sheets (king) and not once have I had to put the dry on again to finish them off - they're perfectly dry each time. No condensation is produced so no need to worry about venting. This is one of the few dryers that does reverse tumble and it's paid off!My only negative is that their phone App does not get notifications when the cycle is finished. Hopefully they will fix that in an update.
I was sceptical buying this machine but after a day of use of washing everything and anything I love it. Makes everything soft fluffy. Takes a little longer but the end results are much better than I've ever experienced. The condenser motor is a little noisy when it kicks in but I'm slowly getting used to that.
I bought this a few months ago. Initially really happy. But, then discovered it balls my sheets leaving the outside of the ball dry and all that it collected in the middle wet. It won't finish off line dried laundry, making it useless as a last step. Very disappointing
Have only had it a few weeks but it’s dried towels, doonas, sheets & clothes in that time. It has multiple material & drying choices, it’s quiet, efficient & gives you the option to hook drainage up to to the laundry sink or use the reservoir. The internal light is an appreciated bonus. The only issues I have had is with the app connecting to the machine & changing options after starting a cycle. I basically have to stand right in front of the dryer & it still won’t connect. My phone is brand new & a newer iPhone model, so it’s not due to age or model of phone. The machine won’t let you change some options after starting a cycle (like adding reverse etc) & I’ve had to turn the dryer off & back on to change cycle options.Other than that it’s fantastic!
Love our new Electrolux heat pump dryer. Everything comes out beautifully soft and ready to fold (or iron if you're an ironer) and the laundry ceiling isn't dripping with condensation during all this La Nina humidity! It took a couple of goes to work out how to set the level of dryness as it defaults to a slightly damper-feeling than I like, but once I worked it out, everything is nice and dry, ready for the cupboard and without the awful crispy wrinkles of an ordinary dryer. We have it stacked on top of a Bosch front loader with the Electrolux stacking kit and the outlet pipe goes into the same hole as the washer outlet. Before it was properly installed on the stacking kit, I used it without the outlet pipe and emptied the tank every load. It's amazing just how ... MoreLove our new Electrolux heat pump dryer. Before it was properly installed on the stacking kit, I used it without the outlet pipe and emptied the tank every load. It's amazing just how much water comes out of a load of clothes even after a 1200rpm spin cycle! All that water used to drip off the ceiling and now it goes down the drain.I linked it to my phone but as I'm still WFH during the pandemic, I can hear when the dryer is finished so I don't need the app. App works fine though.I bought the dryer 2 weeks before Christmas, after 2.5 months of solid rain and after news of many delays to everything due to the pandemic now being in its second year, so I fully expected not to receive the dryer for some months. But I ordered on Monday and it was delivered on Thursday.Very happy with the Electrolux heat pump dryer and with Appliances Online.Writing this review because I relied on the other reviews when buying so want to contribute mine to help others.
The Electrolux 8kg Heat Pump Dryer is truly the best way to dry all your laundry. I have experienced many types of dryers and all the usual manual techniques (clotheslines, clotheshorses ... etc) to dry the laundry. With every experience, I have always had the laundry somewhat degraded from sun bleaching, over drying or shrinkage, until now!! This Heat Pump Dryer is the ultimate in caring for your laundry while drying it.Seriously, the laundry feels like it is rejuvenated every time I place it in this dryer. It’s truly amazing!! You will NOT regret buying it !!
