DOESNT DRY

Unfortunately I am also one of the lucky ones who received a lemon dryer. It started out great and then i noticed that it wasn't drying properly. Clothes come out damp and wet and there is no way you would be able to wear them straight from the dryer. I have tried half loads and on the 'hotter' settings as per the technicians recommendations - but I still have the same issues. You have to put the dryer on 2 cycles - which completely defeats the purpose of buying a machine which has a sensor to stop when the clothes are dry. Also defeats the purpose of purchasing a clothes DRYER...... Apparently the technician claims there is nothing wrong with it because he "tested it" - I am unclear how he would come to this conclusion considering all he did was put his hand in ... MoreUnfortunately I am also one of the lucky ones who received a lemon dryer. Incredibly disappointed with the responses from Electrolux - its very clear here that SOME of the units have the SAME issues. I will be pursuing a refund. This product is faulty.

Really awesome product. I have never owned any Electrolux products before, (alway's fisher and paykel products). But I liked the look of Electrolux and needed a new dryer so I took a 'gamble' and bought one. I'm so impressed, wish I had done it sooner. It operates well, is fairly silent and dries the washing nicely, and it looks like a quality product. I'm pretty sure that when my ( F&P) washing machine 'dies' I will be purchasing an Electrolux machine to match. I'm a 'happy chappy', 2 thumbs up.

Excellent dryer. I’ve had a recent run of compressor dryers and expensive smart dryers with automated settings to reduce shrinkage blah blah, and they alway take a thousand years to dry the clothes and still shrink delicates and cotton anyway if you’re not careful. As long as you have a well ventilated room then this dryer is the best! Yes the hot air will be pumped into the room so probably not suitable for small spaces, but I am loving my whole load of towels perfectly done in 90mins and the freedom of chucking a crinkled top into it for a 20 min freshen up and it comes out dry and light as expected. doesn’t crush king size bed sheets up into a ball either - I love it!

Fabulous Dryer
14 July 2020

I just love this dryer. Easy to use, looks great, and most of all, the great selection of cycles. The size accommodates my king size sheets and quilt cover set easily in the one load. The refresh cycle is great for not just freshening what may have been in the wardrobe for awhile, but also for quickly decreasing somethig you may want to wear and not iron. My favourite is the 'fast 40' cycle. A full load in and dry in 40 minutes. Best price anywhere I could find, and the delivery service was exceptional.

Im in Love
10 July 2020

I I Was a bit sceptical in getting a vented dryer, but i think i made the right choice. Drying my clothes takes roughly one hour compared to a heat pump dryer which sometimes takes double that time if not more !!!. So if your thinking of getting a heat pump dryer due to the energy efficiency, in reality it uses up the same energy due to the length of the cycles. I Also love the fact the panels are reversible and wall mounting the dryer was a breeze . This reverse tumble is great as my bed sheets don't come out in a ball half wet!!! Also Appliance Online were Fantastic will definitely be purchasing more for their website. Very happy with my purchase Thank you!!!

Not Good
17 February 2021

I normally don't worry about writing reviews, but I purchased this dryer and staight out of the box it had a problem. There was an intermittent grinding sound when the dryer was in operation. I contacted Appliances Online and they immediately replaced it. The same problem happened again straight out of the box. I have not had bad experiences with Electrolux in the past, but this was NOT GOOD, especially as I had it mounted on the wall and this cost me some money. AOL were responsive and replaced this item with another brand (Fisher & Paykal) and covered the cost of the install - to reimburse my costs, so all good in the end, but this model looks like a dud I'm afraid.

Vented Dryer still rules!
25 April 2020

Mrs wasn’t impressed with our old Simpson vented dryer and wanted a heat pump dryer. I was rooting for vented dryer but was apprehensive about the dust and heat that it will generate in the laundry room. Won the debate over heat pump vs vented and landed with this unit from Appliances Online. Delivery was super fast and overall transaction was pleasant. Used it last weekend and was vindicated. No issue with dust and heat. And it was pretty quiet. Most importantly, Mrs is happy with it and I have saved a load of money! :-) Unit came with wall bracket and a label to stick over if unit is inverted. And digital display can be inverted as well.

Works for us
6 May 2021

We tried the Electrolux because we were expecting a baby and needed a back up for drying. It works! The fast 40 setting dries the clothes but the 30 min setting did nothing. The clothes weren’t even warm. But then the fast 40 didn’t dry the second time but then another 20mins did the trick. It’s fine because we’re only using it infrequently but I guess we just need to work out what works and what doesn’t.

Worst decision ever
1 June 2022

Can i choose zero stars. The child lock randomly activates while being used and the ONLY way to release the child lock for the machine to work is to hold down a button…guess what!? That one button doesn’t work!!!! I can open the door but the machine doesn’t work. Out of warranty 6 months ago and nil technician available for 3 weeks. What an absolute joke

Worst dryer I’ve ever used
25 July 2021

I have owned this $1,400.00 useless waste if money dryer for a couple of years. The first one was replaced because it didn’t dry. This one is the same. It takes 4 hours to dry a pair of sheets, it leaves them in a rolled up ball and the items are still not quite dry even after all this time. It just takes up space. I have bought a cheaper one and I use this instead with great results
