I have had this unit for about ten days now and I am in love! Still learning how everything works, but there are many choices for both the washer and dryer settings. I am short, so the center control panel was made just for me. The color of the unit is beautiful. Far nicer than the other brands in the showroom when I purchased it. The side-by-side took up so much room that now I have all this space to put in a folding table & cabinet as well. There’s nothing Electrolux didn’t think of & I definitely recommend this appliance!

We would rather the door be a little lower to get the larger Washer and dryer and, again, the controls in the middle.Last but not least - they even thought of Laundry Pods. There is a special spot in the drawer and mode you can engage to ensure that the pod is fully dissolved correctly. We already have noticed that we can use fewer pods with this model.Summary: We are very impressed with the overall manufacturing quality of the laundry tower. We can't believe how quiet it is compared to our old stand-alone units. This has inspired us to completely remodel our laundry room because the unit looks so great.

I read a lot about service, brand reputation for long term service and parts, and details about their bells and whistles. While I was very tempted by the WIFI enabled competition, I could just stick my head down my laundry shoot to know the laundry or dryer was complete in its cycle. The count down timer also helped me ball park how much more time was on the cycle (I didn't have that before). While I don't hope I need repair parts, seals and control panels will EVENTUALLY wear out, so I don't plan on being weeks without Walter Dwyer when that day comes.All in all i'm VERY pleased with the performance and the purchase.

The washer uses a lot less detergent than my old HE front-loader and is generally a quiet appliance (almost too quiet, I can never hear the end-of-cycle chime). However, few things knock some stars off for me: First, day 1 the washer started leaking a small amount of water out of the bottom of the unit. I'm still working with Service to get that fixed, and luckily I have a drain pan to collect the water without damaging the rest of the house. I thought I was buying a higher end product, but I’ve never had a washer before do such a poor job. My 2 biggest complaints for the washer are 1) a brand new white shirt will go in the wash and come out looking dingy. So many of our clothes have become ruined by this washer. I understand white clothes can lose their brightness over time, but this disappointing and not acceptable. I don’t know if it’s because of the way the soap is mixed with water first? But I believe it has something to do with something inside of the machine. I’ve tried different detergents, different amounts of detergent, and different water temps and my clothes keep getting ruined. I had a new package of 5 hand towels and 5 wash clothes and I had only used on wash cloth to wipe up a small amount of spilled powered eye shadow, and after the wash, when I was transferring to the dryer I noticed the wash cloth had eye shadow on it, I thought it had possibly stained the wash cloth, but there was still powder on it, like I was able to wipe powder onto my hand. So it didn’t even get wet enough to soak the powder. It was weird and it wasn’t like it was too large of a load for other washers that I have owned with a quick wash cycle. And the dryer doesn’t completely dry the clothes on the normal setting, I’ve had to set it to the extra dry setting to get the clothes dried. And so sometimes some clothes will shrink because of the extra time in the dryer. I’m super disappointed especially with all the technology around these days, and I’m disappointed that I’m stuck with this until I decide to spend more money to replace it. Maybe I got a lemon or maybe there is something they can do to fix the problem, but their owners manual didn’t have any suggestions besides the amount of soap. The salesman said I’d be happy with it, but I’d love to return it and get a different brand.

Our guess is that the W/D was dropped in some way and the dent reflects the internal damage. My husband has been on the phone with Lowes & Electrolux for almost 2 hours and no one takes responsibility for ensuring they deliver what you paid for.So, the lesson is that you must use the W/D immediately (within 48 hours) to know if it's working and it doesn't matter if it's brand new. Also, you need to add a protection plan to make sure that Lowes isn't damaging the items you ordered - brand new or not. The protection plan is another layer to make sure you're getting what you paid for.
My family of 5 seems like double that size every laundry day. How many costume changes are these people doing each day?When I saw the washing machine drum capacity, I knew immediately this was going to be a wonderful friendship! My youngest has the largest clothing loads and I was able to put her entire week's laundry load into the washing machine all at once. Not only that, but her clothes came out brighter and cleaner after only 1 wash.The features on this unit are incredible. The StainSoak, Sanitize and Allergen options are going to get used quite frequently in this house. And, I love the PODS setting option in the detergent tray. Unfortunately our long awaited tower had a bad start. The day of the delivery we did a few loads and all went well, but I did notice some water in the washing machine after it was powered off. Not thinking much of it, the next morning I opened the door and Surprise, about about 5 gallons of water poured out and into our hallway and two other bedrooms! After sopping everything up, we brought out the fans and heaters and for two days did our best to dry out the areas affected. If you ever hoped that there would be a working door lock it was at that moment. You would think that with todays technology it would not allow me to open the door when the washer was filled with water. Did some research and trouble shooting before calling for a tech to come out. Scheduled an appointment, took a day off work, and the tech (Nice Guy) spent two minutes confirming that he needed to replace the inlet valve. "Great, do you have that part with you? No, it will have to be ordered!" Nice, waist of everyone's time and I'll now have to take off from work again. Very frustrated with this process. Hopefully this will be handled in the next visit. Estimated next visit at least one week. Meanwhile the tower sits in our hallway blocking the entrance to one of our bedrooms so that we can reach the water valve and turn it off between loads.
