The design and the performance of this UltimateHome 900 vacuum cleaner are good. But the adapter of the vacuum was missing in my received vacuum package. This caused trouble as I couldn’t charge the vacuum without it ! It took more than a half month communicating with the after sale serviceman of the Bunnings Marketplace to solve the problem. The missing adapter was finally sent to me directly from Electrolux Home Products. Thanks the After-sale serviceman for his great patience.

I love stick vacuums and they make vacuuming a joy. I have young children so my floors require daily vacuuming and a stick vacuum means that I can spot vacuum a small area without any hassle. Prior to owning this Electrolux Vacuum 900 I had a Dyson v8 vacuum so have that as my point of comparison.Stand: As we are renting, I love that this Electrolux vacuum is freestanding so I don't have to attach it to a wall, and in fact I leave mine on the bench as I don't have a separate laundry or floor space for it (picture attached).Battery life: Hands down this Electrolux vacuum is a winner. Not only does the battery last way longer than my old vacuum, but having two batteries is a game changer. My old vacuum was only good for spot cleaning. This issue doesn't happen in automatic mode, and I'm sure automatic mode is better for my carpets, but I would like the ability to vacuum for longer in turbo mode if I wanted to.Bin emptying: I find it a little difficult to get the Electrolux bin off, it doesn't have a button.Effectiveness: The Electrolux bin fills up quickly, so that must mean it is getting a lot of stuff up! I used it on the carpets in the rental when we moved in which had supposedly been professionally cleaned and the amount of dirt that came out was disgusting. So if you want a vacuum that actually cleans, this one certainly does! I've attached a photo of what the bin looks like after a quick vacuum. I have no idea how once upon a time we used bagged vacuums - they must have filled up so quickly!Hard floor performance: My old vacuum never vaccumed hard floors well, it always flicked things around. I've found the Electrolux one much more effective on hard floors.Attachments: The long nozzle has a flat end, I'm used to an angled one which I think I preferred, but is still functional.Instructions: Note that the instruction booklet is just pictures, I did have to watch some videos and read online material about the product to better understand how to use it.In summary, in my opinion battery life and suction/effectiveness make the Electrolux vacuum superior to my old vacuum.

This vacuum is a real game changer. The suction is superb and it's quick and easy to use. We have hardwood floors in our living room and it picks up dirt and dust seamlessly. We also have a Burmese cat and it efficiently collects cat hair. It has about 60 minutes run time which is more than enough to get the job done.
