I was introduced to this product actually on a cruise doing a facial. I was so impressed with how my skin was after I had to purchase it for home. I’m in my early 20’s with acne prone and sensitive skin. Papaya is a great way to exfoliate and soften skin and is extremely effective on sensitive skin as papaya is a gentle exfoliate. I use this once sometime twice per week and I love how amazing my skin looks and feels after. I love the packaging also instead of being in a round container you scoop out it is in a tube you squeeze so it is easy to get the exact amount of product out you wish to use without the mess. Also a little pricier but my tube has lasted me a very long time and it actually works. Definitely recommend and will repurchase!

I received a small sample in a beauty box, wasn't that bothered thinking it was just another exfoliater and waited a few months to try it...... I have big pores, sensitive skin and a lot of breakouts so I always try these kind of products nervously. I used a small amount and it swept over my skin beautifully (it also smells STUNNING), 10 minutes later I rinsed it off, I experienced no irritation or redness when it was on or afterwards. Finally managed to get my hands on a trial size tube of this. It's one of those I've been wanting to try for years as I love the concept of fruit enzymes and the thorough yet gentle (compared to AHA's) results they deliver, in this case via Pineapple and Papaya enzymes. I apply a dime size amount to my face and neck, and leave on for about 15 minutes. I did try to leave on the once for half an hour, but that was too much for my skin and I had to wash it off due to the strong tingling sensation. Only a small amount is required, so it does last for a long time and it smells divine. I use this twice a week for my home facial: Cleanse with Elemis Cleansing Balm, followed with Pro Collagen Marine Cleanser, rinse with warm cloth, then I use the peel already mentioned, leave on for 10-15 minutes. Then I rinse off and apply Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Mask, which can be left for 10-15 minutes, but I leave it on overnight to enjoy the full benefit. I have sensitive combination skin with occasional blemishes on my T-zone and dry skin on my nose. I use a pea sized amount over my whole face once a week in the evening and leave it on for 15 mins. I like that there is no tingling/stinging effect. I didn’t notice a dramatic difference after the first use but since the second use the results have been visible almost immediately or the next day. After almost a month of using this product my skin has been clearing up (mild areas of spots before) and my dry skin is less noticeable. My skin is less dull and almost has the glass effect - very happy.

Very sweet & tropical but not at all sickly. The consistency is beautiful, spreads over the face easily & you can instantly feel it working. It’s gentle but it is still a peel & you can feel this when you leave it on for the maximum time so defo be careful not to put it around the eye area! I would say patch test it if you have sensitive skin, even though it is gentle. If you’re short on time, even leaving it on for 5 minutes does make a difference to your skin but for maximum results I would recommend to leave for 15 if you can. While I do still use it sometimes past this (shh ) you can definitely notice it doesn’t smell as fresh let’s say, almost starts to have a sour kind of smell. This however does go to show how good the ingredients are. But apart from that there is nothing bad to say about this…buy it! Your skin will thank you
I love Elemis and probably bought this mask last year, but completely forgot about it. I just saw it in a drawer today and fished it out to see if it's any good. I can't believe I've been depriving myself all this time! I love it! It goes on smooth and I wondered if it was working because it didn't burn my face like other peels. It works! My skin looked and felt smooth afterwards. My pores look smaller and my skin looks less damaged already. I'm not sure how long these results will hold, but I'm definitely adding this to my rotation. My biggest regret (besides waiting so long) is squeezing out too much today, but I was also able to do my neck and chest area. Elemis-- please don't change the formula! My sensitive skin reacted beautifully.
My local Elemis salon always raved about this and I finally took a step to buying it. It goes on so easily and smoothly, you may forget it's on at all. But once you rinse it off...oh my! The dewy smooth feel to my face is amazing. Elemis products CAN be expensive, but you get an amazing product in return. I love Elemis products anyway and been using them for over thirty years - I'm 56 and barely a wrinkle! Thanks Elemis! Xx
Wow, where has this been all my life?! This is one of my absolutely favorite Elemis products. I have battled for six months with every product I could find to try and get rid of the Milia on my face (those annoying white bumps that won’t go away!) Within two weeks of using this, I am already seeing a massive difference in my skin. I am also using a full Elemis pro collagen routine so I’m sure that helps too but the Papaya Peel kicked it up a big notch for me. I’ve always looked young for my age, but at 53 I am astonishing even those closest to me who see a big difference too. Love it!And let’s not forget, the smell is amazing as is the consistency. Absolutely wonderful product!
I love this product! I had always thought an exfoliant had to be scratchy to properly get rid of all those dead skin cells. I now know better! Now I'm in my 40s, have dry sensitive skin with mild rosacea, this chemical exfoliant is perfect. You pop it on, leave for up to 10 mins & wash off - all those dead skins cells are dissolved & washed away, leaving smooth, clear skin. Really helps clear up breakouts too. You only need to use once or twice a week. The smell is amazing! Nothing not to like. Highly recommend!
