Item received in good order and delivery was considered quite fast. Bought in the original packaging as it is a gift. Came well-packed in bubble wrapped, except there was a dent in box when another box of perfume was pressed against when packaged together. Maybe seller can consider to pack the boxes side by side with those long boxes of perfumes together instead of randomly bundled pack. Or individually in bubble wrapped so the package of perfume won't be dented. Because giving as a gift doesn't appear nice. Other the slight dent, overall I am happy with the products received. Highly recommended Seller! Very honest seller.

Red Door is a loud, powdery floral with a huge floral bouquet. The opening is very intense and can be difficult for me because I am sensitive to tuberose and find it to be literally suffocating. Once this fragrance settles in my skin for a few minutes, it starts to become a beautiful powdery, warm, rose and jasmine fragrance that dances on a base of honey with the tuberose note floating above. It all works together in a way that smells amazingly sexy and feminine to my nose. I find myself burying my face into my robe or shirt to smell the sweet honey and floral scent anytime I am wearing it now. I would consider this a more mature floral appropriate for a woman in her 30’s or older. It is intense and can become overwhelming when more than a couple of sprays are used. I don’t recommend wearing this to dinner. The tuberose note seems to make it difficult to eat or enjoy flavors when I wear this. However, this is very affordable and easy purchased at department stores or TJ Maxx at reasonable prices. It smells more modern than most fragrances from the 80’s or 90’s. It is not a safe blind buy, but it is a nice departure from the modern fragrances of today.

I was not a fan of this perfume. I ordered it from Ulta beauty in the box was slightly damaged, but the contents inside were fine. The bottle is quite clever, it’s in the shape of a red door… just like her salons. Unfortunately, the only thing that I detect after spraying it on was the scent of a very strong French soap, like you might find in a very chic brasserie in Paris. While that scent might be nice as a soap, it was not so good in a fragrance. I will be returning it to the store.

I don’t leave home without wearing it!

I can’t remember how long I’ve used 5th Avenue. But it’s been for almost half of my life. Every single time I’m wearing it (which it’s daily) I get compliments. My ex was hands all over me every single time. He will always ask what perfume I was wearing and I would never tell him 😉. I’m one of those people that have tried not a lot, but enough scents in my life and there are three that are my signature scents and this one is my every day one. I got at least three larger bottles as a back up to never run out of it. The first time my mom smelled it she started using it and during the last years ever since I started using it, she did, too until her passing 5yrs ago. Thank you Elizabeth Arden for being part of my life and to those close to my heart.
