No one could have been more thrilled to receive this Elizabeth Arden trial than I was but I'm not completely sold. The foundation was far more liquid and runny than anything I was used to and I found it very difficult to blend because I had too much liquid to allow it to blend well. I used a quality sponge, my preferred method with liquid foundation, however even with my favourite sponge I didn't find the blending easy, even after using it several times.I prefer a soft, natural, sheerer finish and once blended it looked natural and nice but blending was more difficult than with any other liquid foundation I have used.Given time I may love it but at the moment I feel it takes much more time and effort to achieve an even, lovely effect than I expect of a foundation from Elizabeth Arden. I am, however, very appreciative of the opportunity to trial this.

My Elizabeth Arden Mousse foundation is apparently being discontinued, much to my sadness. I was advised that the flawless finish foundation was slightly heavier however did not go cakey on face. I am quite happy with the product, it does go on heavier however looks natural. It is very disappointing when you have to try numerous shades on your face prior to purchasing a new product. There really should be a guide as to which colour from a discontinued line would match with their other products. Especially when you're testing inside the store, in unnatural lighting. It does glide on well, only require a small amount and I use my fingers then smooth out with a sponge.

It was a really hot and humid day, and also being in the kitchen over the stove, I felt my face was melting LOL, but can I tell you, it didn’t budge at all, it looked as flawless as when I applied it on in the morning, no crepey eyes, no separation around the nose, which usually happens with my oily t-zone, absolutely flawless 10 hours later.So the next day same skincare routine, I applied the foundation with my fingers, it went on just as beautifully, skin felt super soft and hydrated.As expected by the end of my day cleaning house and running errands, makeup was still intact and had not shifted or moved in the slightest.The third day I decided to apply it with a sponge, again perfect finish, it lasted all day without movement, even my shiny forehead has been under control, I’m assuming because of the Hyaluronic Acid, my skin is hydrated, hence my skin isn’t producing extra oils. I have oil and matte control foundations, but they don’t seem to work as well as this one.So my final thoughts are this foundation is my new holy grail, you can apply it any which way you choose, fingers, brush or sponge, it does not make a difference to the finish.Knowing that it has skincare benefits makes it an added bonus to the product, I feel this foundation would benefit any skin type, if you have dry then you will benefit from the hydrating Hyaluronic Acid, and if you have oily skin/ combination you will also benefit from its flawless skin like qualities….yaaaay! super excited for this product finally a great foundation for my mature, oily skin.

And frankly, if you're leaving make-up on that long, non-comedogenic or not, you're asking for complexion trouble. It felt like a high-end foundation, but if you have the chance, I'd recommend you trial your colour in person and make sure that you're happy with the lightweight coverage.
Why in the world would such a high quality product contain parabens? For those who don't know, parabens will absorb through your skin and gets into your system. Lots of things in the environment get into our systems. But I can tell you, stay away from parabens. I literally have neurological side effects about one to three hours after applying ANY product with this ingredient. A killer headache is the number one effect. But I also get tinnitus, some dizziness, and just feel awful. I'm your pretty average person when it comes to issues like this. Not an activist or go green enthusiast. But THIS ingredient has got to GO.
So glad that I gave this foundation a chance. I purchased 2 shades to find the right one for me. I purchased the 320N and 350N. The 320N is my match and I will just keep the other one to wear when I am more tan this summer. I am so glad that I found this because it goes on smoothly and is very light weight (buildable if needed). I hate going through the process of changing to a new foundation because of the trial and error process, but now that I have found this, it is a keeper. Please don't discontinue! Loving it.
I was offered it at Myer NSW yesterday in lieu of FLAWLESS FINISH which for some odd reason has been discontinued. I’ve been using FLAWLESS FINISH for the best of 40 years now, probably longer. Yesterday I managed to get the last two bottles at the Myer Elizabeth Arden counter at Erina Fair, NSW AUSTRALIAAt the age of 78 I’m broken-hearted at the discontinuation of FLAWLESS FINISH MOUSSE MAKEUP.I have excellent skin for my age, literally no lines save for very fine laughter lines beneath my eyes, I actually look younger than my sisters and children and I put this down to using FLAWLESS FINISH FOR CLOSE ON 40 YEARS. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT DISCONTUE IT.It’s replacement is thick and gooey, I tried a sample yesterday and didn’t like it.
