Elvie Curve Manual Wearable Breast Pump is made for moms who want to express milk naturally, quietly, and on their own terms without cords, noise, or complicated setups. Whether you're breastfeeding on one side or simply need gentle relief during the day, this manual in-bra pump offers a comfortable, discreet way to collect bonus milk whenever your body is ready. Designed to sit snugly inside a standard nursing bra, the pump lets you express hands-free with no awkward positioning or risk of spills. Unlike traditional silicone pumps that stick out or require constant adjustments, this pump fits securely against your body, allowing you to move, relax, or care for your baby without interruption. The soft silicone pouch is easy to use with a one-press system just squeeze to create natural suction, and press again to boost milk flow when needed. It's a simple, intuitive process that lets you collect a convenient amount of milk, making it ideal for travel, daily use, or building a backup supply without the stress of a full pumping session. The built-in comfort control valve allows for quick and gentle release of suction when you're done, helping to prevent any discomfort or pinching. With just two parts to clean and no batteries or cords required, this pump is perfect for low-maintenance, on-the-go use. Made from BPA-free, food-grade silicone, the pump is dishwasher safe and safe for both mom and baby. It's a smart, silent solution for capturing letdown milk or relieving fullness, without disrupting your day. Whether you're multitasking or simply enjoying a quiet moment, this breast pump helps you stay present while supporting your milk supply in a natural, no-fuss way.

Disappointing output and difficult to pour

I was excited to use this as an alternative to the haaka, but have been quite disappointed. I tend to use haaka on contralateral breast when feeding baby for first few feeds in am (when I am more engorged), but don’t really like design of the haaka and was hoping this product would do the same thing with better design. Unfortunately, where I would get 3-4 oz w haaka, I get less than one ounce, sometimes only drops, with this product. I have tried on each breast at various times of day and have been consistently disappointed. It looks great and the suction feels strong, sits well in the bra, but the output is nothing like haaka. Also, nearly impossible to pour, so hard to conserve the disappointingly low output when pouring out. Only 2 weeks in, but I have found having 2 of these (they are sold as singles) for going back to work/being away from home are a great compliment to my Spectra 2 pump at home. I keep finding myself using them more and more in place of the Spectra (though def still need that for more complete pumping sessions) while I do chores at home and haven't noticed a drop in production. Or if I'm out and about and lose track of time they are an easy relief/save milk from being wasted. They gently pump and relieve when a letdown is needed, and have stayed secure in multiple different nursing bras. Not super spill prone or hard to finagle (I had a bit of trouble with the manual pumping, drips, and top heaviness with the Medela manual pump while I waited for these in the mail) ... MoreOnly 2 weeks in, but I have found having 2 of these (they are sold as singles) for going back to work/being away from home are a great compliment to my Spectra 2 pump at home. I've been using them once a a shift, or twice for longer shifts(but am able to keep them sealed in a cooler bag in the freezer to not have to wash in between). Easy to wear them during computer tasks. Fairly discreet, as they blend okay under baggier or thicker clothes (even slightly loose sweatshirts disguise them well, though I'm only a B to C cup to begin with). Nice there is no movment is needed other than maybe lightly pressing to ensure suction every few minutes, which isn't required but I try to do it to avoid tempting fate with big leaks. But I haven't noticed any leaks so far, just super slight splashing if they are getting full! Easy to clean (only 2 pieces), and pour very accurately into bags, love how they lay flat on the counter while I mess with other stuff like opening bags, etc. A great investment, though maybe get the actual battery powered pumps if you need stronger pumping/more results?? I'm Curious to try that, but I'm very satisfied to stick with these because they are much more affordable.

Great catch
9 March 2023

I bought this product when i was about 8 weeks postpartum because i wanted a solution to catch all my leaking milk. This was exactly what i was looking for. I place it in my nursing bra to catch milk from a letdown while im nursing my baby on the opposite breast. Ive also used it as an alternative to nursing pads when im out in public. It is comfortable to wear and fairly discrete with regular clothing. Now that i am further along in my postpartum journey and not leaking as much, i havent used it as frequently. I think this product is great for women in the beginning stages of breatfeeding (birth to about 3.5 months) when leaking occurs very frequently. It is a great alternative to nursing pads and even other types of milk catchers, such as the haakaa.

Less suction; very functional. A must have.

At 3 months my son is kicking off my haakaa on the regular. Popping this into my bra on the side he isn’t nursing from works great! Less suction than the hakaa so can be less output however this is easier to adjust than the haakaa when it does lose suction, just push in the bottom section. It also works well if baby has slept longer than expected at night and I need to relieve some pressure before feeding, so he can latch correctly. I can wear it around the house for a few minutes, pick him up and change him, and then I have an ounce or two already before breast feeding. Recommend dapple or Medela wipes for cleaning, they dry quicker and help get into the corners. Rinsing and scrubbing with a bottle brush is possible but seems to take forever to dry and doesn’t get ... MoreAt 3 months my son is kicking off my haakaa on the regular. Life safer for exclusively breastfeeding mum
9 September 2022

I bought only one initially, it was great for collecting milk in the frist 6 weeks when I was always engorged. I used during night feeds on one breast , while nursing on the other breast . It collected a lot of milk that would have otherwise be wasted on breast pads.My baby is now 2months and I purchased another one. Was brilliant , I used both when I was away from my baby for 5 hours. I didn’t feel engorged at all as it collected milk. This was while I spent most time lying on my back getting my eyelashes done, no spills very secure. No one can tell it’s in your bra looks natural , but makes your boobs look bigger .

Lifesaver
13 December 2022

Three days after my son was born I was producing enough milk to feed a set of twins. The pain was unbearable, so while my son nursed on one side, I would hook up my electric breast pump to the other side, and fumble around trying to hold him with one hand, hold the pump with the other hand, deal with the pump tubes and removing it to burp my son frequently. It was such a pain. Milk was rushing out like a river and while I was trying not to drown my son and get milk everywhere, my husband would wake up in the middle of the night to help me. The worse was when I had to take my son on the road and feed him in the car. I had to express the other breast into a cup to relieve the pressure. The Elvie is a lifesaver and well worth the extra cost for me! When baby starts fussing, I slip it into my bra on the non-nursing side, pick him up and go! It provides enough suction to relieve the pressure and eliminate the foremilk, leaving the fat-enriched hindmilk for my baby to feed on should he empty the first breast. And the best part is it's compact enough to throw in a purse or diaper bag in case of an emergency.

I've always wanted to purchase the electric Elvie pump when I was pregnant it being hands free sold it to me but I didn't due to the price. I needed some form of a breast pump as I wanted to start expressing and saw that the curve went on sale and watched YouTube reviews regarding it. I purchased it and have found it nothing but useful so far ! And have been using it for about 3 weeks now. It being able to fit in my bra is amazing I don't have to hold whilst using it. I personally find that it's at it's best ability when I'm feeding my baby I put it on the other side and it not only catches let down but also expresses. I have now purchased a hands free electric pump similar to the electric Elvie pump however still prefer the elvie catch to it. The natural latch of just putting your nipple in a hole instead of it being sucked is what I prefer also my other one is more likely to leak unless on a high suction unlike the elvie curve.

The Hakka is a more versatile product
14 December 2021

I really wanted this product to be as great as I imagined it but I was a bit disappointed. I mean the concept is amazing and so practical! I mean who wouldn’t want a manual suction pump that fits in your bra that allows you to catch more milk during your babies feeding. I was so tired of my baby kicking off my Hakka and/or it falling off spilling milk everywhere so I was so excited for the elvie curve. Unfortunately since I have smaller breast the suction doesn’t really work for me. It doesn’t form a tight enough seal to really suction out the milk and instead just practically catches what dribbles out during my let down. They don’t offer a flange small enough for women with smaller nipples and it is very depressing. If you have larger boobs or nipple I’m sure it ... MoreI really wanted this product to be as great as I imagined it but I was a bit disappointed. I mean the concept is amazing and so practical! I mean who wouldn’t want a manual suction pump that fits in your bra that allows you to catch more milk during your babies feeding. If you have larger boobs or nipple I’m sure it works fantastic but not great for the little boobie community. I feel like my Hakka lets me collect so much more. I’m just sad because I really liked that the elvie allowed me to actually use a cute nursing bra or a wireless bra so I don’t have to continue walking around braless all the time. Hopefully one day they will make them small boobie friendly something with a 19mm flange perhaps. Just very expensive for it not to work as described and a Hakka works great and way more affordable.

2 months postpartum - This thing was an absolute lifesaver when my milk started coming in. I was so engorged and my baby only fed on one side before conking out. I was desperate to relieve the discomfort. Even with the pain from a c-section, I was able to comfortably nurse my baby and have this in my bra on the other breast. It was easy to adjust suction and my baby could not knock it off my breast. It’s pricey, but i put it on my registry and I don’t regret it. Like I said, I was desperate in those early days to relieve encouragement without using an electric pump and It was well worth the $50 for that relief. I’ve been able to save a max 3 oz from a single use, though it’s usually less than that. I’ve been able to save a max 3 oz from a single use, though it’s usually less than that. I haven’t used this as much recently since i just pump with my electric elvie pump or my traditional pump to build up my stockpile. A couple things I don’t like: it’s very hard to neatly pour the contents into a breast milk storage bag or bottle. It just seems to go everywhere, so I’d recommend pouring into a bowl or measuring cup so you don’t waste any. Secondly, I did try using this again recently and for some reason it seems like there’s either no suction or really painful suction…weird. For cleaning, I do soap and water but will boil as instructed for a deeper clean. Haven’t had warpage issues.
