These are beautifully made slider slippers and the addition by EMU of a thick cushioned sole is a good concept however the strap across the top of the foot is stitched to the sole so tightly that it’s nearly impossible to push one’s foot into the slipper. I have a high instep but even taking this into account I think it would be a very tight fit even for a standard / narrow foot. I am hoping that they will ease with wear but because the sole is memory foam I’m not sure it will bed down as easily as the usual sheepskin. I want to make other customers aware that these slider slippers are only suitable for people very low insteps!

These slippers are far too big and have had to be returned. I am a size 7 and they are about an inch too long in the sole and so wide on the top that my foot slides right through the toe slot and I can't keep them on. I do not have a narrow foot - D fitting - and I do have a fairly high instep. I don't know if the pair I got were faulty, but I have had 5 pairs of the 'Jolie' slippers over the years, as well as 5 pairs of sheepskin boots - all size 7 - all lovely and all a perfect fit. What has happened? Not cheap and always beautiful, that is why I have given 3 stars, but there is a really problem with the fit. The exact opposite problem of the problem encountered by the previous reviewer.
