Warning: I bought 5 boxes in total of the Energizer Industrial Alkaline batteries (AA & AAA), thought I was getting a good deal bc the price was low, but these batteries have very little charge to them. Noticed when low warning came on with new batteries in a non contact thermometer, new batteries put in small lighted mirror resulted in a low light level. We tested batteries out of every box - ALL BATTERIES TESTED READ: LOW!

Most of the batteries have met expectations. However, about 10% of them are faulty. They loose quality very quickly. Out of the package, most all show full charge, but a small, unexpected number do not hold up. Checking the batteries with a voltmeter, a fully charged battery will have approximately 1.6 volts, but so quickly some will drop below 0.9 volts and become useless. When used as part of a group in a device, the battery failures cause the device to fail. The failures cannot be predicted and are totally unexpected, and very disappointing. Not sure what is actually going on, but the overall quality control is definitely lacking. Compared similar batteries purchased in smaller packages, there have not been any failures, ever! I was very happy with the price of the many batteries I purchased and the shipping cost was satisfactory. I was upset with the regular battery company I usually purchase them from. Their shipping was so much it would have been cheaper to buy them at a box store on sale. However, Office Supply was perfect! I also like the Energizer so much more than Duracell. I used to buy Duracell on sale at BJs, but they keep leaking after a time. Not so with Energizer.
When I asked where the expiration date is at on the batteries or boxes. I got no response. But yet they advertise them with a expiration date. I asked because they don't seem to last very long before going dead. I assume since I could not find the date, and they didn't respond. The expiration date may have just been pulled out of the air.
MY wife has a lot of battery operated candle lights which use these batteries. The price was right, and quick shipping.

Enclosed are 6 boxes of 4 batteries each and all are new and seem to be at full charge. I am currently powering 1 flashlight and my computer mouse with them and have had no power drop-off whatsoever so I am confidently recommending these batteries.
Top quality batteries at a very good price. These are very fresh batteries with a use by date over a decade away.
Since I have not used them yet I really cannot speak to quality nor can I recommend them. However, I purchased them because of the price and the fact that they are Energizer batteries and I have always had good luck with this brand plus there is a 10 year shelf life so what can I lose? It may seem a contradiction from the first sentence but I do recommend them and speak to quality because of the sentence following it.
