I have a little Italian Greyhound who was getting very dirty teeth. I read a few reviews for this product which were good so thought I would give it ago. It is absolutely brilliant. She loves the flavour of this toothpaste and the small brush works perfectly (although she has chewed it a lot) the improvement with her teeth took a week to be noticed and the vet couldnt believe the improvement when they saw her last. She took to having her teeth brushed quickly but I do know some dogs may take time to get used to this. Overall its an excellent product Im glad I brought this!

I took my dog to the vets in 2009 for a routine check up, they noticed their back teeth was a slight build up of tartar (hardened plaque on the teeth) I was told/shown "The best way to clean your dogs teeth is with a brush and Virbac toothpaste." nothing beats it, not dental sticks, over the counter food or specially designed treats/dry food that scrape the teeth. Bought this as vet said my dogs teeth are little yellow. My dog is very happy for me to clean his teeth and he likes this product . The poultry flavour does the trick. His teeth are much improved already . Not as yellow plaque decreasing . Does the job well.

Before I started using this toothpaste my Greyhouds dogs gums were red, swollen and bleeding. I wanted to clean them before a visit to vets for cleaning. As they wouldn't let me brush them I put a little on their nightly rusk which they ask for 8.30 every night. I can confirm from them that it tastes good and has improved their oral hygiene amazingly, no sore gums, bad breath or slimey saliva. Not cheap but a tube lasts my 2 dogs a month or so and I would highly recommend.
Brilliant - works really well. You don't need a toothbrush, just pop a small blob on the end of your finger and gently massage on and around the tooth. Removed all plaque after a couple of applications. Couldn't believe how quick it worked.The hounds teeth weren't too bad to be honest, just wanted to prevent future issues, but I was really impressed.
Toothpaste was recommended by the Vet. My puppy loved it therefore it makes it easy to keep her teeth clean. Expensive to buy but it should last for a very long time, good value to ensure that my dog teeth remain healthy.
it's good but remarkably expensive for what it is. the only way i can justify the cost is to use it myself as well as for the dog - it tastes yummy and for some reason since i began using it my teeth have recovered from all sorts of dental issues to the point that i have removed fillings i have had since my teens. enamel has recovered and new tooth material has grown so that my teeth look perfect. my dog on the other hand just enjoys the taste but it is maintaining her teeth in pristine health
