Enzymedica - Digest Basic - 90 Capsules

Dairy and wheat are the main culprits of stomach upset for me. I can take Digest, even after eating, for 10-minute relief from intense pain. If I take Digest before meals, I dont experience the gas buildup that activates my hiatal hernia. I found Digest in Whole Foods when I was having an episode. It was the only product on the shelf and I found out why. I have only tried the basic formula because that works for my occasional lapses in judgment so I am not sure what benefits the other formulas bring to the table. But when I cannot sleep I take one tablet and I am asleep 20 minutes later.

Ive purchased two bottles and am working on my second so far. All I can say is that this product is a game changer. Ive been having digestive issues since my appendectomy five years ago and it was so frustrating having nothing happen. Ive tried several other products trying to find something to at least get things started. Finally I can say this one I can vouch for, not only are things moving along. But it also helped with my Gerd issue as well. I am sure to take this at minimum three times a day with meals and like clockwork my entire digestive system is no longer over taxed or overstressed. Up until then I was seriously worried about having a major issue going on, but thankfully these pills have worked the problem and solved it. Impressive and highly recommended.

These are the ones! I have tried numerous enzyme formulations to help with digestive trouble, and while I felt better using the chewables, I never felt anything like this. I have more energy, I feel less bloated and gassy, and I havent had any heartburn since I started using these. This formulation is their most mild, a good start to find that I dont need anything stronger or much more expensive! than this one to bring me the relief that I need to live a comfortable life. These are in a small capsule, easy to swallow and no flavor at all.

Good Blend

This is good blend but irritated my inflamed gut. it turned up I need mainly Betaine HCL with pepsin.Also I'm pleased with Grassfed Beef Liver by Ancestral $32 . This is amazing on empty stomach. and Zypan by Standard Process after meals. Everything inside is 100% bioavailability.Low acidity in stomach is huge and difficult for recognizing problem. I made simple 3 morning tests with 1/4 tsp soda bicarbonate + 1/4 cup of warm water on empty stomach . I have all sorts of health problems related to the gut, Fibromyalgia, Hashimoto's, Endometriosis, gluten intolerance, etc. I go through times where I have trouble digesting food, especially vegetables, which means SEVERE stomach cramping, diarrhea, bloating, and gas. It made me sick

I don’t write reviews but I felt I had to write this to warn people that it is possible to get sick from this product even though it is highly raved. I started taking these 1 capsule with my lunch and dinner, by the second day I felt like I was having sore throat. I didn’t relate the symptoms to this product and continued with the routine. By the third day I have developed a nagging cough that was phlegmy. On the fourth day of taking these I started coming down with a high fever. I stopped this supplement and it took me 2 weeks to recover from the fever and cough. In order to make sure it was this supplement causing me the symptoms, I started on these 1 month after recovering. The symptoms came back exactly the same. So I knew it was these causing me to fall sick. Life saver

I only need a little help these days. However in the beginning I needed a lot of help and needed to take with every single meal. But few months down track I've noticed I don't need as much. I take only now with a meal that has a lot of different variety of food on my plate. I've noticed its not as efficient taking with everything now cause I guess my body is saying its revived enough and only needs help with bigger variety meals now. So I recommend doing this every meal everyday as a booster then tapering off a bit once you start to notice digestion better without them and save on capsules! Worked for me this way.

Still evaluating impact. Comment above for Solomon's Gold tool off b4 I could complete.I recently ordered Pacific Harvest Kombu Strips. Was disappointed in use result & that strong packaging had no easy built in way to keep airtight. I'd ordered a 2nd pack which I tried to cancel. Trial and error.

I can't say this product has helped me tremendously, but it did help a little with digestion. I have a very, very sensitive gut and horrible stomach problems - I ended up in the ER 10 times last month. My gallbladder needed to be taken out, so this helped a bit. But I believe there are better products suited for me on the market. It's all about trying and finding out what helps you the most.
