I have been looking for a new headset ever since I got my Ps5 I was lucky enough to get one preordered. I had the Astro A50 but I didn’t want to limit myself at 4K 60 FPS I wanted 120FPS 4K . Astro wanted to sell me an adapter fo 60$ that would downgrade the performance of my PS5 no thanks! I tried all the best rated headsets at all prices and even the new Astro A30 that was one of the worst headsets ever I had the A40 but was not able to get the sound that the Ps5 could deliver, I wanted a better headset after getting the EPOSH6PROS I feel that the sound quality and comfort and adjustment even when waiting glasses was much better than any other gaming headset I have tried . I rather stick with a wired headset for now and enjoy the full performance of the PS5!

I have now had these headphones for about 10 months. They are extremely comfortable. I can wear them for up to eight hours at a time and they will not cause me any kind of discomfort. The sound quality is insane. I can hear things in games way better than headsets I’ve had in the past. They are very good at the noise cancellation, when i play games I cant hear anything but the game, when im not playing games and im just sitting idle i can hear about 80% of things around me depending on how far they are. I also purchased the Open acoustic version about two months ago. They caused me significantly more discomfort after long periods of time. In terms of functionality, they work the same. They dont really mold to the head around the ear as good as fhe closed acoustic. But i guess thats the point. All in all, if you want to be immersed by the game, hear very well, and be comfortable then go with the closed acoustic. 10/10

Absolute garbage, The left ear had no sound, Only sound was in the right ear and it sounded like absolute garbage and that was with the volume all the way up. The volume on the epos h6 pro are way too low and can’t barely hear them. I do not recommend these at all. I returned this headset immediately and exchanged them for the hyper x cloud 3 headset. Hyper x cloud 3 is 1000 times better than epos. Sorry epos but I can’t recommend your products at all as they are not good for gaming. So anyone looking for a new headset for gaming, I highly suggest the hyper x cloud 3. You will be very happy with those as I am.

I did NOT buy these for the gaming aspect, I got these for work so I can take conference calls while also able to listen to quality audio.Good - VERY light weight and comfortable for all day use.Mic works like a champ, without too much blending with background noises.Bad - Open back design, which just means that you may not want to use these in an office environment like myself.Audio is ok, Not as decent or clean and polished as Bose. I would be more critical about these as they are made by Sennheiser, but the price point was so low, that I did not expect perfect audio. The audio is a little soft, I would anticipate that the external soundcard would offer a tad bit of amplification but it doesn't.There is a KNOB on the side of the headphones that turns up and ... It doesnt look like a knob, but there is one, Its on the right speaker piece. Turn it up. Fought for 10 min trying to figure out why I had no sound. Found out that it was that knob.Overall, For what I was going to use it for, I give it 2 out of 5 stars.BUT, due to the fact that these are gaming headsets, and the fact that its made by Sennheiser and cost less than 200 bucks, it is still a good deal.Just wish they would make these in a closed back, better audio, maybe a little higher pricetag, and a external soundcard that doubles as a dac. That would be sweet.
I recently got these on sale for $175 instead of $260, which I'm way more comfortable with paying for a wired set. The sound is really clear and detailed, so much so that it almost sounds empty compared to the muddy loudness of cheaper headphones that I'm used to. By no means does it sound bad at all, I think I'll grow to prefer these by a long shot. If you like heavy bass you'll need to put an eq on them but they are definitely capable of delivering it. The earcups are very roomy and comfortable, and the build is light and sturdy. These are great for larger ears/heads, with the headband adjusting to a bigger size than you'll ever need. The clamping force is nice and light, and the mic is really decent, especially with some tweaks. It looks great overall and suits ... Bought this for my boyfriend & he says it's really comfortable & much better than his other headsets (although they've always been cheaper so not sure how it compares to similar priced headsets). He can wear it for long periods of time without getting a headache. Mic isn't anything special though, says that it's good but ran into this issue once where his mic made him sound like he was in a wind tunnel due to the wire being tangled / weird angle.I've taken one star off due to that but it hasn't come up as far as I've been told; only because considering it happened pretty quickly after being bought, kinda raises a concern for how long this headset will last. I pray it doesn't since it wasn't cheap! The quality of the headset is pretty good though. The style, & ... I pray it doesn't since it wasn't cheap! The quality of the headset is pretty good though. The style, & feel of it is amazing & the sound quality is as good as it says on the box. I can't say too much in detail since I don't use it myself but so far, it seems like your above average headset that has some cool features.Keep in mind that this review is also coming from someone who isn't extremely picky with headsets but I try to research headsets that have the standard qualities a headset should have (working mic without issues / cutting audio, comfortability on your head for long sessions, longevity, & above average sound quality, especially for those who care a great deal for competitive gaming / immersion).
I've never had headphones that cost this much before so this was definitely an investment. I've had to get used to using it as it has features that I'm not used to. The detachable microphone arm was an interesting touch. That and muting it by pointing it upwards. It is sturdy, no breaking or bending where it's not supposed to so far. It is comfortable and doesn't dig into my head.If I have one bad thing to say about this headset is that the cord could be a little longer, but other than that I recommend it.
This being the closed back version, I wouldn't recommend. They sounded small, and shallow. The mic quality was good, but the sound quality made me lean in as if that would help. I just couldn't get the detail I was looking for and I had it paired with the Epos GSX 1000, and even the SS GameDAC. Neither made them any better. I just didn't like the sound quality. They were made well, and the mic was good, but that was about it. I might try the open back versions some day, but I found the Philips SHP9500's to be so good, I'm not sure I have the desire to try anything else. I wouldn't buy these again.
Very happy with this headset. I've gone most of my life using Razer headsets and honestly don't know why it took me so long to change brand. I was constantly disappointed with Razer headsets and always having issues with them, whether it be the terrible software, driver issues or the headset itself. The EPOS headset hasn't had any of these issues or really any at all. It even has a longer cord than any other headset that I have owned which is very important for me because of how my computer is set up and the minimal space I have (My computer is up a little high and most cords struggled reaching that far). This headset is also just plug and play so you don't need to worry about getting some terrible software that just takes up space and causes problems.Other great ... MoreVery happy with this headset. A little too good. Best not to put these on if you're meant to be listening out for things.- Comfortable with a soft fabric around the ear muffs rather than the whole thing being that cheap leather so it'll last a lot longer.- Braided cables, so no need to worry about the cables getting ruined.
The headphones themselves are very good but the GSX 300 is not so much.. Also you can't enable any windows audio enhancements when you have the GSX 300 software installed or drivers installed/enabled. Honestly I think these sound better without the Epos software installed anyways but I might've just not messed around with the software enough. A small problem is though when you just have the basic windows drivers installed the headphones will randomly pop here and there and it's pretty annoying though I'm pretty sure the actual problem is with the GSX 300 rather then the H6PRO's themselves.Overall I'm pretty happy with them but I'm gonna have to buy a separate dac/amp because of how underwhelming the GSX 300 is but still for only $20 more (when I bought is at ... And the GSX 300 like a 2/5 probably.. I will say that running the H6PRO's though the GSX 300 without the software installed still sounds better then plugging the headphones straight into my motherboard so at least the GSX 300 gets some points for that but that's about it I'd say.
