Pros: Ink tanks are the USP.Printed the test page very well.Cons: I’m tech savvy but could net get this to connect to a standard TalkTalk router.I tried using the WPS push, via the computer over USB, via the App, via the printer control panel, etc etc, but the problem was that it would not even detect the ssid (either 2.4 or 5Ghz). I could connect it to my phone hotspot but not the router. The signal was strong and I tried moving closer still to the router (like 3ft away) but no joy. Given we all have dozens of devices that we connect to our home wifi, usually taking less than a minute, it is ridiculous that what should be a plug and play device isn’t simple in this regard. Hence I took it back and got my money refunded without a problem. I bought a Canon instead ... MorePros: Ink tanks are the USP.Printed the test page very well.Cons: I’m tech savvy but could net get this to connect to a standard TalkTalk router.I tried using the WPS push, via the computer over USB, via the App, via the printer control panel, etc etc, but the problem was that it would not even detect the ssid (either 2.4 or 5Ghz). I had never heard of the eco-tank concept until a family member sang its praises. I must admit, long term, this is a cheaper way to print. Before purchasing this printer I owned a black print only printer, and would have to go to a business for color printing. This printer has taken that inconvenience away. The quality isn't as good as a commercial printer, but then again, you aren't purchasing a commercial printer. I'm looking forward to exploring its capabilities. It would have been nice to have a paper tray in the design as the paper tends to bend whilst sitting in the 'shute' holder.

Pros: - Quick printer, great for my home office.- I like it the mobile device printing option.Cons: - A little fiddly to set up.- If you want printing on both sides, you have to do it manually by printing even pages, turning the paper in the printer yourself, and then printing the odd pages. Really, EPSON, in this day and age? Even my 10-year-old old printer performed better on this front. Had I known this from the start, I probably wouldn't have bought it.- Colours are decent, but NOT as bright as they are shown on the presentation page.- A bit noisy.

Brought this a few days ago, this is my first ECOtank printer which is interesting but very easy to use. Ink's are quite cheap which is good for the long run.Took about an hour total to set up which was fine after everything it needed to do.Scanning is great, I wanted to scan old family photos which this does really well.Only down side I can see so far is if I want to scan multiple pages of a document i'll need to use the glass. This isn't too much of an issue for me and what I need so that's fine.Very compact an love how I can fold the trays away when not in use.Very happy.
Pros: Very easy to set up, integrate to a home / home-office environment. User interface on machine and the phone app are simple and intuitive. Ink consumption seems better than my last printer. Ecotank very easy to fill and top up.Excellent.Cons: Could be faster and have more paper/print-medium containers/trays, but I imagine they are features on the more expensive models.Scanning at higher resolution than 300 DPI I'd slow, but appears unnecessary for everyday operations.
Pros: I haven’t owned this printer for long and I haven’t printed much off it yet, but I can say it is MUCH better than the Canon printer it has replaced. This one starts printing almost immediately as opposed to the 10 minutes or so the Canon took. The print quality is acceptable and of course it is to be hoped the ink tanks will prove far better than cartridges. It is a compact machine and isn’t too noisy. I found the set up procedure quite easy to follow although there is one point where there was a long wait for initialising I think it was. There appears to be nothing happening and it is tempting to hurry it up a bit, but I resisted that temptation and sure enough after a while it sprang back into life.Cons: It feels quite cheap and plasticky, and the screen is ... MorePros: I haven’t owned this printer for long and I haven’t printed much off it yet, but I can say it is MUCH better than the Canon printer it has replaced. I was a little put off by the paper feed being at the back of the machine ( the Canon had a slide out paper tray at the front, much neater ) but I’m used to it now. It doesn’t do double sided which is a shame, and I’m ever so glad I read the reviews that told me the model I was about to buy wouldn’t talk to Apple products. I nearly bought the wrong one but instead bought the next model up for an extra £20 or so which does talk to Apple products perfectly.
Pros: A fantastic printer for a busy family! We purchased this eco tank printer as the demand for printing in our house has grown as our kids have gotten older. The money saving aspect of using large liquid bottles means we never have the issue or screaming that the printers not working. Print quality is brilliant as to expect from Epson. On screen options are simple to use. Wirless connection means printer lives in the offfice and we can all send prints regardless of where or which device is used. I would 100% recommend the epson eco tank printer and is a great addition to a household.Cons: Nope
Pros: So easy to set up, and 'get printing/copying', even for a retiree such as myself. 'wi-fi' scared me like old sci-fi films/movies, but my fears were groundless. I've yet to 'scan' - but, I suppose, I'll figure that out. Some companies must be incredibly rich - given the cost of ink cartridges: they almost give away the printers, and laugh all the way to the bank. It's not - in a legal sense - 'criminal, but for printer companies not to honour guarantees, and 'block' 3rd. party cartridges, unless 'own-brand' products are used, is {I must watch my language} ... BAD. Thus, 'Epson' shines, with their 'EcoTank' products. I may be dead before Epson's ink runs out - which, in my 'mind', justifies the higher cost of the printers. Basic economics?Cons: I thought hard ... MorePros: So easy to set up, and 'get printing/copying', even for a retiree such as myself. Basic economics?Cons: I thought hard about this. I can see nothing which I do not like about this reasonably-priced product. But, I'm just an ordinary user of the product - not, say, a professional photographer, or an artist who requires huge copies {A3, and above}, and 'perfect' rendition of their works. In an office which may need hundreds/thousands of copies a day this product is not for them. But, it's not too difficult to get off one's .... chair, and put more paper in the machine. 'Paper capacity' may need improvement - in the opinion of some young and/or lazy people.
Cons: I bought this printer to use with my Apple iPad because I read the printer manufacturers information which said it was compatible. When the printer was connected it printed only photographs and notes and not any Pages documents. When I spoke to Epsom technical support they said it was an Apple problem. Apple said this printer was probably not compatible. I took the printer back to the shop where the assistant told me this was a common problem and could be solved by converting my Pages documents to PDF. No thanks - not for the volume I wanted to print. Fortunately I purchased another printer made by a different company which works beautifully.I think Epson should make it much clearer that the printer is not fully compatible with Apple - there is a warning in ... MoreCons: I bought this printer to use with my Apple iPad because I read the printer manufacturers information which said it was compatible. When the printer was connected it printed only photographs and notes and not any Pages documents. No thanks - not for the volume I wanted to print. Fortunately I purchased another printer made by a different company which works beautifully.I think Epson should make it much clearer that the printer is not fully compatible with Apple - there is a warning in tiny print on the side of the box which states the printer may not work with all Apple programmes. ( I discovered this when putting the printer back in the box to return it,) I think this warning should be prominently displayed instead of advertising it as a fully functioning printer being the prominent message. I spent a lot of time phoning Epsom and Apple, checking connections and eventually returning the machine but my experience means I will never buy another Epsom printer.
Pros: I am an 82 years old, and I enjoy my laptop every day. My present printer started to deteriorate.I decided to purchase a new one. A friend of mine ran a similar Epson with an ECO tank, in his business for years. It had not run out of ink, and he used it every day. The quality of the colour photos really pleases me. My granddaughter had a photo taken in her university robes etc.,taken professionally. She did not like the skin tone. I used software to adjust it, then printed it out on photographic paper. I assumed I would have to take it to a professional. No, my new Epson ET-2820 did a Perfect Job.Cons: I have tried out most of the things it does, and have found no problems.
