I am so glad that I found this company. I had tried to purchase directly from Epson but they were having trouble with their system. It was also much cheaperI was able to get this quicker and so far although I have only used a few times am very pleased with performance. I just love the scanner as my previous one stopped working and I could not get any support. It is also so much easier to use and has clear instructions and fits well beside my desk. The company have been very helpful and treated me with great respect especially as I am not a business person.I have passed on their details to others needing such equipment.Thank you

Replacement for My Old All-In-One
8 October 2022

The key thing for me was a robust build. I did not want to buy something that lasted a mere 2/3 years. The Epson WorkForce that I chose is not for business, it's my home printer. I wanted good quality so was prepared to pay a little more than average. I think the price represents good value for money (so far). This printer is so ridiculously easy to set up, even the wifi aspect. I also found the touchscreen menu easy to understand. It came with a CD drive disk, which I didn't need. The instructions pointed me to Epson's website and that menu took over and did the job.The downside for me, there usually is one, is the cost of replacement ink cartridges, which seems to be a generic issue with all printers these days, including my old one. Epson has a scheme called 'ReadyInk' that can be bought into, whereby Epson automatically sends replacement ink depending upon usage and the contracted limit to numbers of pages printed per month that one signs up to. It seems very good value indeed, but my usage is so erratic I decided to purchase replacement cartridges instead. £45 for a bundle of standard cartridges that last about 300 pages. The manual advises that the cartridges that come with the printer are not "fully" loaded, so may not last as long as new cartridges, hence my early purchase decision.Epson advice is also to switch the printer off in between uses if not used frequently, to keep the printer ink nozzles tight shut and thus preserve the ink. Also, to run prints at least weekly to keep the cartridges in good order.Apart from these caveats, I think this printer looks good and it seems very well-built. It certainly produces very good prints and I'm pleased with it.Now, if it lasts another 10 years or so, I shall be truly delighted.Watch this space.

Good Points: Printing and scanning is good quality and quick.Improvement Points: Default scan quality 200dpi, should be 300dpiSeem to be unable to stop multiple scans being saved to a single document when they are separate documents. I've returned to Home after one scan and then scanned again but when I look on my PC, I am only able to Save to a single document?

Simples!
13 October 2022

The printer arrived very well wrapped and protected - in fact it took longer to remove all of the protective sticky tape than to set it up and get it printing! It's easy to set up and link to wi-fi and whatever device you want to print from. I've not used the scanner yet but I am pleased with the quality of the printing and copying, and I have it set on my printer menu at the lower resolution.Yes, it takes up a little more room height wise than my previous printer but that one was costing more in ink than it cost to buy which is outrageous.I like the fact it is easy to see how much ink is left and it asks you to confirm things like switching off, numbers of copies etc preventing waste of paper; ink and power; unlike my previous printer it has a standby mode too.

Unique Classy and Robust

Great machine and not that bulky, I expected a bigger unit, so pleased. Make sure you remove all the adhesive tape from the unit before you start the setup. Set up is fairly straight forward from the printers smart screen or using the installation disc. You will probably have to do the Firmware update process too just keep to the on screen directions. Which also connects your ISP Wi-Fi process. DO NOT connect any USB cable in the installation stages until it prompts you to do so. The paper tray slides completely out to load your paper types and is held securely by the rigid ratchet system. The printer is quick to print and is reasonably quiet in motion. The colour is good quality and sharp. Ink cartridges are suppled with the Printer to get you testing and started. ... MoreGreat machine and not that bulky, I expected a bigger unit, so pleased. The Epson iPrint App is great for your smartphone and software for Windows OS is available on free download. You can also use the Epson Connect facility to connect to your devices. All in all a really smart printer and a good investment for any small work station or office.

Was great til stopped feeding documents , guarantee useless
30 September 2022

Perfectly good printer until it stopped auto feeding documents. This was within the guarantee but JLP just passed me over to Epson to get it sorted, they just sent me a reconditioned machine, not a new one. I'm sure that's within the terms of the guarantee, though I didn't expect that from JLP. The first recon machine clearly hadn't been recon'd at all, full of ink from used cartridges, had to send back. Second recon machine seemed fine for a couple of months, now not feeding documents again. It was such a huge hassle to get hold of (a) JLP and (b) Epson that I won't bother again, I'll just buy a new printer. This is not what I expect from JLP. I buy electricals from JLP because I DON'T expect this to happen. Really disappointed

Won't connect to wi-fi any more
20 July 2023

I've had this printer for about 6 weeks. Was easy to set up and has been working well until about a week ago, when it said the wi-fi signal was weak and then disconnected. All other appliances in the house (including 3 different laptops in the same room as the printer at various times) have been fine.I have tried connecting manually via various routes & have reset the printer to factory defaults but this hasn't solved it. I have already wasted 2 hours this morning and I Need To Print Something Today. My previous (HP) printer worked from the same location without any network issues for 3+ years.I have tried connecting my iPhone via the USB to print direct. That didn't work either. I bought an 'All-in-One Wireless Printer' but now have just a photocopier. Infuriating.

Worst printer I've ever bought
24 January 2023

I chose this printer based on the good reviews on this site. What a mistake! It was very difficult to set up (e.g. I had to contact Epson support to sort out why it wouldn't connect to my Apple print), it won't connect with my PC except through an ethernet cable, it takes ages to warm up to print anything (sometimes 2 hours!) and to cap it all when it finally spits something out the print quality is appalling - so faint as to be almost unreadable. I've persevered with it for 4months but am beginning to suspect it's faulty as I can't believe this is how it's supposed to function!
