I received the product through the Stellar product testing panel.Pros- the fabric of this carrier means it is SO easy to store. It fit easily in my diaper bag because it folds up MUCH smaller due to the mesh fabric. I didnāt like the ā2arrowā that was not clear at all and I found it very confusing- I did not try this with a newborn but I am concerned about the position it showed for a newborn as a newborns legs should not be OUT of the carrier but inside froggy style usually with an insert- I found the belt strap buckle very hard to close and push together.

Therefore, she is just slightly too big for the newborn option and just slightly too small to see well over the carrier in the baby mode facing in carry position. Immediately out of the box I LOVED the fabric and the color (washed black). It felt durable, breathable and well put together. When I put the carrier on and begin to place the baby, I realized that there was a lot of pressure around his head when I pulled the straps across my shoulders. At almost 22 inches long and close to 10 lbs already, I would have assumed that he would have been able to fill this carrier out nicely, but I believe he may still be a little short. My wife and I positioned him many ways, and did a lot of different adjustments in order to see what was ultimately comfy for him. I found that if I were to let the straps down, closer to my neck with the adjustable straps being wrapped more-so under my armpit, that his head was supported better and was the most comfortable position for him currently. So much so, once we got that adjustment set, he immediately went to sleep. I feel like as he grows, this carrier will be very beneficial and maybe we will use it "properly" but for now this was what worked best. If I hadn't had these issues, I would have given it a 5-star review. I look forward to the ways our little bundle of joy will be able to utilize this over the upcoming months!

My baby is currently 8lbs and doesnāt have an unusually long torso but unfortunately the newborn adjusted setting sits the baby up too high to the point where her head is completely unsupported.The newborn setting doesnāt work for us now but I do love that itās lightweight, soft and has such great breathable mesh fabric. Enter the Embrace Soft Air Mesh Newborn Carrier!This mesh carrier combines all of my favorite features from the wrap with all of the conveniences and support of a more structured carrier. It keeps my baby cozy and close to me and is great for breastfeeding. Like with the wrap, he falls asleep almost instantly when in the Embrace carrier. It is super lightweight - incredibly easy to pack up and take with me on outings and it takes up hardly any space in a bag. The material is a lightweight knit/mesh - itās soft and breathable for me and my little guy and I can definitely see us using this carrier all summer long without either of us getting too hot or sweaty. I love that the straps are stretchable and wrap in the back - like my wrap, it is comfortable and supportive for me and baby- and the long straps make it so easy to put on by myself too. It is so much easier and more convenient to put on than the wrap- literally 3 buckles and weāre good to go. The carrier has a padded waistband/belt, and a cushioned neck support for baby, and it keeps his hips in the ergonomic āM-positionā thatās so important for his hip development. This means weāre both comfortable, even when babywearing for several hours a day. Other great features of this carrier: itās machine washable and once heās old enough, we can use this carrier for baby to sit in a face-out position. I love this carrier so much that I now find myself reaching for this carrier over my wraps, sling and other carriers - itās just so comfortable and so easy.This carrier would really make a perfect gift for new/expecting parents and is a great addition to a baby registry - I definitely highly recommend!

Once buckled and tightened the weight is evenly distributed on your back. I ran around an Easter egg hunt for 2 hours with him on me and it did not affect my back at all. I also live in southern Texas which this time of year is around 80 and humid. This isn't a miracle carrier and didn't prevent me from sweating but it definitely felt more breathable! It was almost like all I had was the heat of my baby and carrier was an afterthought.Ease. The carrier I have used for two babies clipped at the waist, arms straps went on front backpack style and clipped once straight across my back. Trying to clip that thing always had my arms and hands turned out, stretching for dear life to clip it together. There have been times I've begged a mom at the park for help or more recently, my toddler now that she's old enough. The Embrace is easy and thoughtfully designed! Once the waist band is clip and baby is positioned in, each strap is thrown across your shoulder and comes down to your waist at the opposite end where it meets the clip. Genius! When it's time to tighten, you gently pull the slack near your chest and pull to tighten. Literally, as simple as that!Design. Simple and sleek. Probably would have preferred something other then grey if I had bought it but overall looks expensive and well crafted. Love that this solves my issue of going between a wrap and carrier with an insert. One stop shop. Amazing that I could use this from the very start. And one of the best features - the size. When you're trekking about with 3 littles in tow you want to carry as little as possible with you. Especially traveling. This folds up so small. It's smaller then the pouch I have holding my diapers in the diaper bag. Game changer!Overall, thoughtfully designed for a busy mom. Easy to use, comfortable, supportive and ready to use day 1. Would definitely buy this with my own money and recommend!
My wife and I love the Embrace. We used an Ergo 360 with our older kids, but this is a really great carrier for a newborn ā I wish we had it for our other kids since itās particularly cozy when theyāre very small. Weāve used the carrier walking in the neighborhood and around the city, hiking, and to get things done in the house. I am 6ā1 and my wife is 5ā6, and we both find the carrier very comfortable.Pros:- Comfort - The spreadable shoulder straps and supportive waistband make it structured enough to provide fantastic back support, but also soft and easy to roll up like a wrap. When baby is tired or overstimulated, I can put him in the carrier and heās immediately happy and settles down.- My favorite feature - I like that it has good neck support, so I know baby is snug and tucked in and my hands can be free to get things done or help the other kids.Cons:- It can be a little tricky to put on the first few times, but I did like that there are several instructional videos to show how to put a baby on.
