Ergon SM e-Mountain Core Prime Women Saddle

Brilliantly comfortable whilst not being bulky.My issue is that creases seem to be appearing on load-bearing areas and I'm a bit worried that might lead to wear over time.I have been throwing the bike around a lot but I'd hope the saddle holds up for the price. Time will tell.

This is a well made saddle and reading Ergon's website they obviously put a lot of development into it. For me personally I do not find the saddle very comfortable. Ergon say you have to position the saddle level on the rails but this does tend to feel as though you are being tipped forward towards the bars when riding. Saddle choice is very personal so it may be perfect for other riders. I will persevere and hope it is just a case of getting the right adjustment. The padding does feel very firm but may give a bit over time as it has not eliminated saddle pain. All in all not as comfortable as I was hoping for from this saddle as it is expensive but not the worst I have had either.

Unfortunatley the new SME Mountain Core Ergon saddle is very uncomfortable compared to my previous Ergon SMC Core MTB sadle which was the same size M/L and excellent for long mtb trail rides. Not sure what Ergon have done but for me a step backward and no good for long trail rides which include downhill trails. Note: The service from sprockets was very good on time and competitive cost .

Comfiest saddle ever!

Bought this in a S/M a year ago as that is what I thought my size was. Rode for a year and found it a little uncomfortable. Tried a mates with the M/L and it was a game changer, ordered it and it’s the comfiest ebike saddle around! Highly recommend.

Fantastic saddlr

always suffered from a sore backside despite having ,a road based gel seat but simply too wide for a emtb. took the gamble on buying this. just been for a 20k ride to try it out and have to say no aches and great support.the rear lip design makes a huge difference for accents. really pleased. yes expensive but worth every penny!no hesitation in recommending the product.

Great service and a great saddle

I have purchased 2 of these saddles from bikeinn. The saddles are the most comfortable I have had in 27 years of riding.I live in the US. The online purchase was easy. The tracking service works well. It took 12 days from order to delivery.The total price was better than here, even with shipping costs. I purchased the second saddle because of the great service purchasing the first. I have one on my Yeti SB130 and the other on my Farley 7 fat bike.

No sore sit bones

First impression was how light it was. Riding, it felt supportive yet soft. The ramp at the back is just enough to hold you in place. No more sliding backwards. Not in the way when hovering above the saddle on descents.I did need to lower my dropper slightly and move my seat position slightly rearward compared to my other seat.Two rides on it now, four hours each ride. No sore sit bones so I’m liking it lots.

Surprisingly comfortable

Sitting on the seat with the bike stationary doesn't feel like it would be too comfortable. However, after riding 40km I was surprised to still feel fresh without the bruising that I would normally get from other bike seats.The raised back is a nice enhancement for steep climbs.I've now done well over 100km on my EMTB with this seat across very rough terrain and it still surprises me how all the discomfort that I used to experience has completely disappeared even with extended bike rides.

The wait is over

After extended and current backorder on this saddle in the US, I found it available from BikeInn. The price turned out better, even with shipping to the US, than was documented on the backordered saddle in the US. This was a purchase for the girlfriends e-bike that had gone through several saddle changes to meet her comfort/performance criteria. A simple measurement of her sit bones and utilization of the saddle selector on the Ergon product webpage gave the direction and model recommendation. Once on and several rides on the new saddle, there are no complains as to its comfort and performance. Doesn't get better than that; now she can just ride.
