I was having ,saddle sores on my Brompton's default saddle and was on the look out for a replacement saddle. Came across Ergon ST Core Evo and was intrigued by the use of BASF Infinergy as I'm a fan of Adidas' 'Boost'.Decided to give this saddle a try and it did not disappoint. Had been riding with this saddle for several hundred kilometres and no more saddle sores. The BASF Infinergy material also helps to dampen any road bumps which makes my rides more comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

I ride a bike all day at my job and was looking for relief from sit bone pain. This saddle was really good at absorbing shock and cushioning my sit bones, but I really wish it had a cut out rather than a depression. Unless the nose is tilted very far downward, the depression collects a pool of nasty sweat and I still experienced compression and hot spots in the front. I wish they made this same saddle, but with a full cut out to relieve that pressure and keep sweat or rain from pooling.

I just complete a 5 day 237mile fully loaded bike tour on a mix of roads and trails with this seat. It totally eliminated my issues with "soft tissue" soreness. I did have some soreness at the back, top of my thigh, my leg was hitting the bike seat there, I might be able to adjust the seat to eliminate this. It was way more comfortable than my Brooks B17 short seat. I am sure it will not be as durable as the Brooks, but it still looks and feels like new at this point and it rained all day on the last day.
I purchased this saddle for my wife for use with her new lightweight e-bike, and she’s very happy with it. Her bike is a hybrid with a flat bar, and initially I set up the seat with a level nose. She felt like she was sliding forward, so I pitched the nose up 3-4 degrees and she now feels very comfortable. We went for a 17 mile ride today and she wore normal clothes, no padding, and had no discomfort at all. This seat is a winner!BTW, I measured her sit bone width before ordering to make sure she got the right size. Ergon can use sit bone width in their sizing calculator, and YouTube has plenty of how-to videos.
Probably should have returned it as it never achieved that painless status that we all crave. Bike saddles are literally such a pain in the butt to buy, try, etc it seemed excessive to return after riding it so many times. I now have a different bike with a new saddle and this Ergon stayed on my old machine, which is now another spare bike.
Put this saddle on my around town bike to replace a B-17 with a broken adjustment bolt. This saddle is comfortable and moves with you as you pedal. Soaks up all the bumps on gravel roads. Use Ergon GP1 grips and love those so I thought I'd give this saddle a try. Love it.
This is a super saddle, the quality is visible everywhere you look at it, it is extremely comfortable, you can pedal all day without feeling any pressure in the back/butt area.I warmly recommend this saddle.

I recently purchased a Cannondale Tesoro Neo SL e-bike and was looking over bike gear and ran across this saddle and read a lot of positive things about it. Sounded like a perfect match. I even did Ergon's saddle selector online and it recommended the Men's ST Core Evo Bike Saddle for me.I purchased the saddle and set it up on my bike exactly how I always set my saddles with height/tilt/etc. I tried it on a 40-mile ride and the next day I felt really sore, kinda bruised in the sit bone area. I chalked it up to being my longest ride of the year on a relatively new bike. I checked my fit and everything was perfect. I thought of trying the S/M size, but just didn't want to go through the hassle as I have a perfectly fine Brooks B-17 Imperial that is comfortable for me.I put my Brooks B-17 Imperial on the bike (newish saddle, not even broken in yet) and there was no discomfort after a 35-mile ride.Compared to the Brooks, the Ergon is wider in the middle of the saddle, while the nose and rear ends of the saddle are about the same width as the Brooks. That extra thickness just rubs me the wrong way (pun intended). Although I wanted it to and I tried real hard, the Men's ST Core Evo Bike Saddle just didn't work for me.
