I absolutely love the cocoon swaddle bag! I'm a first time mum but also a NICU nurse so have had my fair share of using wraps and swaddles. I love this bag as it's just so easy to use! We started using it from Day 1 - it's lovely and warm, secure (baby can't escape like in a wrap), safe (sits snug around their neck to avoid blankets getting over their face) and we love the arms in/out ability. It's also so easy to put on!! We've not used a wrap at all as bub fits the bag perfectly and settles so quickly once he's in it. I highly recommend and will be buying the bigger ones as he grows!!

Wasnt convinced about it at first but when bub wouldn't sleep with a muslin swaddle, we basically did everything we could, including purchasing an ergopouch swaddle. Never looked back since!!! we now have SO MANY IN EACH COLOUR and already purchasing the next size up! its one thing we cant live without! He sleeps so well with the ergopouch. Its super easy to use and it has double zip to make the middle of the night nappy changes easy. I exclusively use all of my muslin clothes as a burp cloth now. Bye bye struggle town! I was also pleased to see that the Victorian Government includes an ergopouch as well for newborns in their new born "care bag". I highly recommend! Definitely a great investment for bubs comfort!

I was so impressed with the coziness and quality of the ergopouch, however, it is too tight around my 8 week-old baby’s neck when zipped up all the way. I have the 3-6 month size and am not able to close the pouch all the way without worrying it will restrict his airway. The material is not stretchy and doesn’t give any extra room around his neck. Leaving it slightly unzipped at the top makes it too easy for him to unzip and unswaddle it himself. I am very disappointed since everything else about the ergopouch is perfect.

My 3.5 month old baby sleeps better in this sleep sack than anything else. I couldn’t wait for swaddling to be done because he’s a strong baby who fights like the dickens to break free. He will fight this sleep sack but is quicker to fall asleep either on his own or being rocked. We love that it’s thicker as we live in upstate NY in an older home and it’s winter right now…I also love the arm snaps that will allow us to transition him to a regular sleep sack with the straight jacket…I mean cocoon option. The only thing I don’t love is the surging on the inner zipper protection part is uneven and the zipper has gotten stuck in 2 different places several times. It has come undone after backing the zipper up a few times, but that is sometimes an exercise in patience ... MoreMy 3.5 month old baby sleeps better in this sleep sack than anything else. The only thing I don’t love is the surging on the inner zipper protection part is uneven and the zipper has gotten stuck in 2 different places several times. It has come undone after backing the zipper up a few times, but that is sometimes an exercise in patience when I’ve got a crying wiggling baby waking up who wants to be fed. Because of the zipper problems I’m knocking off a star.
Loved our swaddle bag! The material was comfy for our bub, which helped snuggling her into bed. The long zip Is such a game changer too- we can just pop her onto it open and zip up. The transitional arm holes were so handy to transition our baby's arms out as well. Our baby really enjoys the roominess of the bag so she can kick and fuss in her sleep with little restrictions. I found the what to wear guide a massive help in selecting the right togs as well, it worked perfectly with this bag too.
I wanted a thin pillow for my toddler to sleep on since he is a stomach sleeper. The pillow is nice and soft and the pillow case is good quality. However as others have noted, the pillow itself is not machine washable. It completely clumped up with the first wash. ergo pouch reimbursed my order because the pillow is now unusable. I’m going to purchase another and will not put it in the washing machine this time.
The little fella didn't want to be swaddled after a short period of time. Being able to bring his arms out of thus sleeping bag let us control when we wantes him to move forward. The 2.5tog with a one piece under it and the bar heater on in the room is perfect. The sleeping bag is really good quality backed with superior warmth. Just recently brought another one which I know we have more on the shopp list. Little does the Mrs know she'll be getting the one piece too lol
Like the sleep suits the swaddle bag is great quality and exactly what you need to get peace of mind that your bubs isn’t getting cold through the night. One thing to note is that while the sizing states 0-3 months, our little guy has outgrown his at 10 days old. From memory he was 55cm tall when born (and has definitely grown since then) he’s also 5kg. So, just something to keep in mind for tall parents who are likely to have tall/bigger sized bubbas! Aside from the sizing thing, you can’t beat the quality and ease of use that Ergo Pouch brings👏🏼
First night in and I have to say this is what I have been looking dor. The material is soft and stretchy. Breathable but warm. Just like those amazing rayon/elastic swaddle blankets we all love because they hold the baby in place. Snaps for the option to have arms in or out. Which is awesome. Its snug in all the right places when her arms are in, and her hips have plenty of room. I was iffy about the neck hole being tight or too loose, it looks spot on. Easy diaper access and the safety is great for my little escape artist. She is 3 months and 13 lbs, the 3-12 is perfect!
I purchased two of these pouches. One of the pouches is good quality, warm and worked out quite well. The other pouch has a zipper malfunction and it snags almost every time I attempt to use it. This may not seem particularly concerning, but it definitely causes quite a grievance when attempting to change a crying infant in the middle of the night. Not sure what is more frustrating; fighting with a zipper at 3am while an infant scream-cries in my face or dealing with customer service who's priority is not customer satisfaction or support. If you order a product without malfunction, you should be good to go, but on the chance that what you get is defective, don't expect that you'll get any support. Went with 2 stars since 1 of the products was fine.
