I have had this guitar for about a month now. From the first day, I have absolutely loved this guitar. The included Seymour Duncan pick ups sounds amazing and the push/pull function gives you a nice range of voices. Everything about the build of this guitar feels amazing. The neck and the frets are smooth and well cared for, the quality of the hardware is top shelf. If you want a Les Paul, just forget about Gibson. This is what you want, of course there are many versions of this guitar, Any one of the EC-1000's are great, but the finish on this one is pretty outstanding in person.

Perfect. The weight is perfect. Evertune is just amazing. Minor adjustments out of the box. Emgs sound as good as ever in this. Coil split is awesome too. Doesn't come with a case, but you get alot of guitar for the money.

I had an EC-256 and the finish was correct but far from perfect. This EC-1000 comes from the Korean factories, you definitely notice the difference. The tuners feel sturdy and are very precise. I have had this guitar for about a month now. From the first day, I have absolutely loved this guitar. I purchased this guitar approximately two months ago and I have a hard time putting it down. This is an excellent guitar that will not disappoint! With the EMG's, it really drives your amplifier! If you're into metal this is your axe. Although, I will say it cleans up nicely and can play clean tones without any issue whatsoever. The EMG's are fantastic! This is my first guitar with active pickups and it did not disappoint me. The only negative I have is not with the guitar itself. The negative is the description of the guitar on the website. It is incorrect! It does NOT come with BACK binding. I told Musicians Friend regarding this and they said they would tell the people to correct the description, but I still see it has the same description. I really didn't want to return it because it was love at first sight with this guitar! If you are hesitating about purchasing this guitar, don't. If you're looking for a really cool looking and great playing guitar, buy it. That's all I got to say. Enough said!
Amazing, right out of the box! Gorgeous maple top and headstock design along with the flag inlays and black/chrome hardware. But how it handles...wow! The 'U' shape neck is just like my '72 Strat so the LTD felt familiar right away. (The U neck is chunky and may not be right for everyone) It's really well balanced sitting down or standing with a strap. The action is spot on and access to the higher frets not a problem. The bridge is comfortable on the right hand. And the specific instrument that I ordered is HEAVY. It feels like I'm playing a full guitar, not just a slice of a guitar! And the sound... THE SOUND!! The EMG 81 is incredible! It's actually making me play more accurately and deliberately because it will not allow sloppy playing. Play sloppy on the 81 or ... MoreAmazing, right out of the box! I can't tell you anything about the Evertune bridge you can't find a million other places, except how I feel about it - As a I progressed in my playing I was chasing intonation problems all the time with my previous guitar - I could probably get a job as a low-rent guitar tech now with the skills I picked up just trying to get the intonation a little better on that old thing. Evertune promises better intonation with almost no fiddly adjustments.... and they totally deliver on that promise - my EC-1000ET is a complete delight to play.The neck and fretboard on this guitar are the best I've ever played. The heel join at the body is so smooth and artfully carved I swear I can't tell where the neck ends and the body begins. The pots and pickup switch are substantial, with smooth even drag on all of them.Aesthetically, this a beautiful guitar - the body, neck, and headstock binding are perfect, the mother of pearl inlays are perfect, the ebony fretboard is dark and gorgeous, the gloss finish is perfect, and it's surprisingly smooth playing on the neck.The Seymour Duncan Jazz/JB combo is incredibly expressive with the push/pull tone knob splitting the pickups, and also a hotter set of pickups than you might think - the artists using these specific pickups read like a who's who of classic rock and early metal, but cleans are not only achievable, but achingly pretty with that perfect intonation from the Evertune.
Really happy with this guitar. Finish, bindings etc are flawless. The binding colour is more orange than the yellow in the product pictures. I prefer the orange. It’s a really effortless guitar to play. Neck is quick, but feels substantial. Guitar is noticeably lighter than other Les Paul types that I’ve previously played.
This is my second ESP LTD. The quality on the other got me really paying attention to the company. This one is even nicer than the other. Just killer quality for the money. I've definitely found my brand. The Evertune? Pure genius!

To me, may be very different than anyone else.I live Les Paul's, I've tried a few from Tributes to ones made in the 50's etc. But... I have the feel and always want different pickups. Right out of the box, this was amazing. The tones you can get with a roll of the volume band or tone are fantastic. From light bluesy sounds, to heavy metal, to crunchy 80's hard rock.I'm blown away. I've played and owned much more expensive American guitars from Fender, Gibson, and PRs, including artist editions... And I honestly put this over them.It's light weight, but has amazing sustain.
