I love love love essence. This product is amazing and is such a great dupe for the Glow Recipe dew drops. As someone who struggles with skin hydration in the mornings this primer does wonders. It holds my make up all day. 10/10 would recommend.

It feels really nice but the name is misleading. It doesn't work as a primer. Works best as just a simple hydrating serum. I also did expect it to have a strong smell. The smell does go away after a little bit but I fear for the people with sensitive skin

I used to use Glow Recipe but they are so overpriced. This stuff is amazingly cheap in comparison and works just as well! It also does smell like blueberries which I love but the scent is very faint and you have to hold it under your nose to even notice. So the people that say it's strong or overwhelming, that is false. I'm sensitive to fragrance and this does not bother me. It also does not cause acne or irritation of any kind, it's the opposite and I find it to be refreshing and soothing! I just hope they don't discontue this!!

Don't be fooled by the word "primer" in this product name (read the "Instructions for use")..lol.. It's a nice, hydrating serum, though, and I enjoy using it. But if you need a primer, their Cica Face Cream in this same line is very good. I love Essence, but their product names need to be clearer.
I love essence so really wanted to like this product. I heard mixed things about it so wanted to try it for myself. I have sensitive combination skin, but mostly oily, and have struggled with acne for a while. I was scared to put this on at first, but warmed up to it when it didn't turn my skin red or burn at all! This serum feels great and I would recommend it.
I bought this on a whim and love it. I was wary of the scent, but it's really not strong and hasn't caused any irritation even on my sensitive skin. I've not used it as a solo primer under makeup, but I've been using it as my main moisturizing step on vacation and it's been great. I even used it on my hands/cuticles after getting rid of some hangnails and it looks like I've had a manicure. I'll definitely buy it again. I just wish it came in a larger size.
oh my god this stuff is actually amazing. I use it every morning to prime my face for my makeup, and every night after cleansing my face. It works extremely well as a makeup primer in my opinion and definitely keeps my makeup on the entire day, from the time I wake up at 8am to the time I take my makeup off around 8pm. It has also been an actual miracle for my skin and I will never be using another expensive face serum again. It keeps my skin so hydrated, prevents acne breakouts, and it honestly makes my skin glow. I feel so pretty without makeup now because of this :,)
First off, very slight smell.. but it's nice, exactly like fresh blueberries. I use this at night mainly and it is very Spectacular! It does exactly what it says and my skin feels hydrated and plump! There isn't a "glow" like some leave. I have very oily skin and this product works the best!!!! Doesn't make me oilier or funny looking. It really does a Phenomenal job!! Will buy again
i, personally, LOVE essence. to their makeup, to their skincare, and especially to their serums. honestly, get this! when i went into ulta and saw this, iimmediately snatched it up, and i'm so glad i did. been using it for a month or two now, and my skin has improved so much. my skin is literally glowing. love this product, get it if you want a non-messy, glowy, anti-puff, and a nicely smelling product.
it's very gentle and hydrates. it does have a scent I guess you could say a fake blueberry scent imo. but my 7yo and I recently started doing skincare to spend time together and she has claimed this as hers! lol it doesn't bother her skin and she loves it. I highly recommend to anyone regardless of skin type it's worth a try.
