Essie - Nail Polish - Day Drift Away - 13.5ml

I'm a big fan of Essie nail polishes, and I was excited to try Baguette Me Not when I saw it in the Summer 2017 collection. It's a soft lilac color with hints of pink, and it's the perfect shade for spring and summer. It's not too light or too dark, and it's flattering on all skin tones. The formula of Baguette Me Not is also great. It's not too thick or too thin, and it applies evenly and smoothly. I only needed two coats to get opaque coverage. Amazing sheer nude hue perfect for any occasion

Having been a culprit of the in salon Shellac nails trend at the nail salon for years, my nails needed desperate TLC to heal and repair naturally. I used a regular nail strengthener and applied almond oil as a treatment every night for a few months to get my nails back to tip top health. Sheets Perfection I have found my new hero nail polish - from the cute bottle, the quality of the polish, drying time & the application with the perfectly formulated brush was just smooth & simple. No base coat needed, though I required 3 coats & a great tip is to prepare the nail bed by filing and buffing nails, trimming the cuticles and apply 2 thin coats and float the final coat to ensure no streaks, then seal with Essie Gel Couture top coat. Flawless finish and lasts a good 7 - 8 days with no chips!

Another wonderful thing is it dries within 30 seconds and that’s not under a LED light either that’s just as soon as you apply the nail polish to the finger it dries so fast to wear when you’re finished with the rest of your nails you will be able to go back and do a second coat on them without happening to wait around until all of your nails are dry. Love the color and the application. It’s a true red with a hint of darkness. The application brush has a little curve to it. It makes it easy to paint your nails without getting it on the sides of your finger. It does dry fast so that can be a good thing or bad thing, depending on how fast you apply it. I do 2 to 3 coats but you could only use two coats and be fine. I decided to do dots, so I kind of let my polish dry a little bit on the one I gave do you dots all over my fingers for a creative design. The dots do you take a few minutes to dry of course but that’s OK. Snooze In is a lovely color that can look a bit orange with pink tones, but matches wonderfully with everything somehow! I found it to be one of the better polish formulas from Essie, which can be hit or miss. I only needed two coats for coverage and smoothness. The weird thing is taking pictures of the color. If you’ve ever tried to take a picture of a beautiful pink sunset only to look at your phone and see it only shows up orange or even yellow, this nail color is just like that! I really liked the color even though it was a little bit different from what I normally choose (lighter pinks, neutrals...my staples are Playtime and Ballet Slippers. Two of the same exact bottles may appear slightly different in color, can me more difficult to apply than another the same product, or will chip after just one day. I follow all of the suggestions, directions, and tips Essie offers when someone is not entirely happy with one of their products but it is still the same result.
