Very sturdy on induction cooktop. Quick to heat up as its base fits large element cooktop. Ample space for sauté and frying .Love the handles as it is not obstructing while stirring.Good value for money. Found my perfect sauté pan at last. Very happy.

Best ever cookware

I’m delighted with my purchase of a Per Vita stainless steel, induction sauteuse. The heat distributes evenly through the pan & it cooks superbly. I have cooked a complete meal in it & love that I can also put it in the oven.

Cookware review

Excellent product.Well made and works equally well on both wood fired stoves and induction.Gives a very even heat without hotspots.The steel lid appears to gather far less condensation than their glass equivalent.

Excellent quality cooking pan

I am very excited to have bought this pan after reading a lot of postive reviews and I am satisfied that it is what people say about it. I inaugurated it for a big dinner at my place and was so delighted to see that I could sear three chickens together in the pan without mashing them and the ease of putting it into the heated oven straight from the stove was the best part.It Feels solid With good quality stainless steel and the copper bottom base, that makes it an elegant piece to be left on the stove. It's a good buy and I will highly recommend it for the cooks who love cooking with quality utensils together with a good looks and style

Good casserole pot

A really nice casserole pot, good size and suitable for stove to oven. The sides are quite high so good capacity. Only design change is the lid. I need to stack pots but not possible cos lid doesn’t sit snug when the lid is turned upside down. Not a game changer and I recommend product.

Great Pot

I really love this pot. It was recommended by one of the staff at Carindale Myers as being the "go to" for cooking and he wasn't wrong. We use it all the time for all sorts of meals. Well made, durable, and easy to clean.

I have come to love the per vita range

I really like the two Essteele Per Vita pots we have so I thought I should write a review - and I will probably put this review in a couple of places if possible.About a year and a half ago it was time to replace our large non-stick pot and I was keen to move away from using non-stick coated cookware. I purchased an Essteele 28cm (5.2litre) sauteuse pan/pot and an Essteele Per Vita 26cm large casserole pot (it has curved sides - Essteele don't seem to make them anymore which is a shame). I do like the dutch oven however, it is heavier, doesn't seem to distribute the heat as well (sometimes get burn patches in the centre) and requires one to be considerably more gentle when cleaning to avoid chipping the ceramic. I am glad I have the dutch oven however, I I was forced to get rid of one of the three pots mentioned, it would be the first to go.

Incredibly useful work of industrial art.

I bought the Essteele 'per vita' covered saute pan because I wanted something a little bigger than the Essteele risotto pan that I also have, for preparing stews, casseroles, Bolognese etc., in largeish quantities. The quality of manufacture is excellent. The pan feels solid in the hand, with a heft that suggests that it will last a lifetime and more. I'd like to think that my grandchildren will be using this thing in the distant future. It heats quickly and evenly; it doesn't need much of a flame under it to maintain a simmer; and it looks beautiful on the stove. Perfect steel Pan with cover

It is just perfect for making curry sauce in large quantity. I was impressed with heavy base which didn’t burn the food and gave exact golden colour. I use it regularly. It’s easy to clean as well.
