The Esteele steamer is great for cooking different vegetables in the one pot. It also fits neatly into 3 different sized pots which is very handy.

This is a multi size steamer that works with all our different size pots. Purchased a second one for that reason so we can have two on the go using our different lot sizes. Keep an eye out for sales to get heavy food discounts.

This steamer is great in that it fits 3 different size saucepans, which is great if 2 of your 3 saucepans are already in use . It also has a large capacity - plenty of room for a family size portion of vegetables .

Does exactly as it says on the tin. The handles get far too hot - so I have taken off a star. Otherwise it has been a brilliant upgrade from one of those fan-out steam baskets that really are impossible to handle.
I have had this steamer for a few weeks now and have already used it several times. It is so handy and has filled a gap in my cooking repetoire that I didn't know was there. I love that I can just sit this on a pan of water and go - no fiddly bits that are difficult (and time consuming) to wash like electric steamers. Although recommended hand wash only, this product is dishwasher safe - mine has been through several times now and still looks and works as good as new. My only issue is that the handles get very hot after it's been on the heat - ALWAYS use a tea towel or oven mits to remove after use! Nevertheless, Essteele is such a quality brand and this steamer is no exception - quality materials and sturdy construction. Fully recommend this steamer. It is solidly built and a great size to steam a large range of food for the family. I expect that it will last forever.
I have bought many Essteele items from Myer and this one is excellent as well. So great is the brand and Myer has a terrific collection that i am now gifting for family members.
This product is the weak link in the Essteele range. I have been cooking with Essteele Classic pots for the last 30 years and had to upgrade to Per Vita pots once my old plastic handles called it a day. Whilst I love my new Per Vita cookware, the steamer is not great. Firstly the handles get too hot to hold (I cook on gas) and secondly, the Per Vita saucepan lids do not fit this steamer very well. This steamer really requires a lid to come with it or you should buy a lid from another range that fits better Best check with your retailer or Essteele directly as to which lid will fit best. A long handle on the steamer (like the old Classic steamer) would make a huge difference.
Purchased this steamer for my Esteele cookware. Brilliantly can fit numerous size saucepans. Does the job perfectly. Handles do get hot, so beware. Very useful addition to anyone's cookware collection. Great price and timely delivery from Myer. Very pleased with purchase.
I bought a Universal Steamer to be used with my new Essteele 3.4L Covered Casserole (a replacement for a 3L saucepan which had a matching steamer). I'm happy with the Universal Steamer, especially as it can be used with other sized saucepans, and being stainless steel, it is easy to clean. It fits reasonably well into the casserole pot, though perhaps not quite as good a fit as the matching steamer in my old 3L saucepan (which was making strange noises and therefore had to be replaced).
