I do not recommend this product unless you have perfect skin and are going for an extremely sheer natural coverage look. Sorry Estée Lauder but this is a no for me.

I apply this foundation with a kabuki foundation brush and lightly set with setting powder and it makes My skin look flawless! Although this skin tint serum seemingly sets itself upon application, it never appears greasy or oily thanks to the unique formulation; however, you can certainly set with powder after applying if you prefer to do so. This skin tint, even at light to medium coverage, manages to cover my redness and even out my discoloration for healthy, glowing skin every time whether I use my fingers, a sponge, or a brush. In other words, even though it's buildable, I believe you can over do it and, quite frankly, it's beautiful giving a level of light to medium coverage and this coming from a full coverage girl on most occasions! Not only does this skin tint give way to softer, smoother, glowing skin, but you also reap the rewards of skincare benefits with every use thanks to the wonderful ingredients! When you factor in the ease of application, a gorgeous finish, and the skin loving ingredients, this skin tint serum from Estēe Lauder is a win-win, in my opinion! I was extremely excited to try this serum skin tint because as someone who suffers from rosacea and combination skin, matte foundations tend to emphasize my fine lines and dry areas. This serum tint from Estée Lauder was just what my skin needed. First off the color is a great match and I have had no issues with oxidation. It applies evenly and smoothly, and makes my skin look nice and dewy without feeling greasy. I have tried this with primer and don’t feel that it applies well with my current primer (a moisturizing primer) but think it might be too much moisture with the serum so I will look for something else to try. But when I wear this skin tint alone paired with a very light moisturizer underneath, my skin looks amazing. Also I think personally this skin tint applies better for me with a brush (I use the Sephora Pro 64 Foundation brush) and applied well with my fingers but with a beauty blender, the sponge absorbs too much of the product. The coverage is decent, it is definitely pretty light coverage but can be built up to medium, even though I personally felt as if it started to become very cakey and especially noticeable on the skin the more product you put on. I'm not going to give up on this and I recommend you try it if you can get a sample! Everyone's skin is different so I would never discredit a foundation just because of all my attempts so far have not found a way that I am in love with this Foundation.

With that in mind, I wasn't expecting to be very impressed with the new Skin Tint Serum foundation, but I was very pleasantly surprised.The texture is consistent with most other serum foundations, however, the very first thing I noticed was the pigmentation. I have a few deeper set wrinkles on my chin and I have had so much trouble finding a foundation that doesn't settle in them and make them look more pronounced but this didn't...at all!!The two main drawbacks for me were 1, It oxidizes, but nothing too drastic and, 2, The application. It took me a few tries to figure out the best way to apply it. After some trial and error, I found that applying it with my fingers, letting it dry down for 5-10 mins, and THEN coming back to blend it with a dense brush worked best. When I didn't let it dry down a little before I tried to blend it, it just looked patchy and streaky, especially around my nose and chin. It's quite finicky and is not a foundation that I can apply when I'm in a hurry. I tried with and without primer and, either way, this is the way that worked best for me and my normal/combination mature skin. I would also say that the finish is more radiant than natural...at least on me. I don't usually like a radiant finish foundation, but setting it with a translucent setting powder knocked the glow back significantly for me.Al in all, I have been very impressed with the coverage, I love that it has 20sph for an added boost, and it wore really well all day.
