I have aging, oily, acne and rosacea prone skin and just switched skin care and makeup from Trish McEvoy to Estee Lauder. Now, I am in love with my skincare routine and new makeup but was intrigued by this product. I am a minimalist and only want to add what is needed, useful, effective, and worth the money. I by chance got a tiny trial size in a pouch. It sat in a drawer for a while. Decided to try it. OMG. Went online immediately and bought the briggest bottle they had. I put on immediately after the shower or washing my face, it drinks it right up. It immediately feels calm and moisturized. It removes any tightness redness or irritation. I use products for my acne and I thought there is no rescue for the painful dryness, redness, sensitivity that follows, but this product works wonders under their Advanced Night Repair Serum (doesn't break me out). OH YEAH, one more thing! I almost forgot to mention this product lasts forever, even if you use it three times a day! I did not use it sparingly and I used it three times a day. I wanted to try the small version first before purchasing the big one. Essence together with the serum gives a nice brightening effect. Have been using the essence for a while, no regrets on the purchase. Shall get a big size on sale probably. The pores are tightened and also absorbs quickly to skin. To after shine effect since I have a combination skin. To breakouts after using the product.

This essence resembles thick water and has a very subtle smell. I was applying it with my palms because for the price of this product using a cotton pad seems a crime. After the essence is applied the skin isn't sticky, and the serum glides on better than just on the clean face. It is very moisturizing, but it is very refreshing, it will not be sticky and absorbs quickly. I love to use it after morning toner. When a micro essence is used, it will not need to apply any other essence. The makeup is very good after that, and it feels better that it takes makeup and oil when it is not used.Then it's the ability to repair the skin and reduce the pores. There are some pores on both sides of my nose and under my eyes, which are quite thick After I finish pore cleaning, I will choose wet compress ~ I think other girls recommend it wet compress! The second picture is that I used the front camera to take photos after wet compress. There's no skin abrasion. You can see that the pores are reduced a lot! And it feels smooth, tender and super comfortable!
This micro essence skin activating treatment lotion is a must have in you skincare routine.I have acne proe,senstive,combination skin with a lot of redness. This treatment lotion does wonders at balancing and calming my skin. It's a watery toner consistency that I dispense in my hands and press into my skin. It absorbs quickly,there is no stickiness. Most importantly it does not aggravate/cause acne (does not react to any other skin care products I have either/layers well with other products). It makes skin feel smooth,pores smaller,and skin look like glass. It is meant to keep you skin healthy and it dose. You need to keep up maintenance of skin so use this consistently. Highly recommend.

Decided to give it a try after read all the positive reviews. Confidently bought a 200ml bottle, because I've been using ANR serum and revitalising moisturiser for almost a year and my skin is great. However, bumps and tiny spots developed after using this micro essence. So, no, this essence not for me, not for everyone. Major waste of money and time.
