Estee Lauder has brought their new legacy collection to the fragrance world! This is quite an interesting scent, I've not smelled anything like it before! It's unique and captivating! It's an earthy, floral, green fragrance with some key notes of Basil, Patchouli, Rose and Jasmine. I get the green notes & patchouli right up front and as it dries down some of the floral notes come into play. It has insane longevity and will last all day! Gifted by Estēe Lauder. The Estēe Lauder Private Collection Legacy Eau de Parfum Spray is definitely a refined fragrance. The jasmine and sandalwood notes really stand out to me and blend together wonderfully. I am 40, and while this is a lovely floral scent, it still feels a little on the mature side for my preferences. It is a very predominantly floral fragrance, so that may be why I feel that way. If you are a big floral fan, you may really love this scent.

This perfume is the epitome of luxury. Everything from the bottle to the gorgeous, sophisticated but modern scent is so beautiful! I love the hint of patchouli. It is floral but definitely not overpowering. It wears beautifully and I have already received compliments from wearing it. Not to mention the bottle is stunning! Gifted by Estée Lauder.

The opening of this fragrance is really strong, herbal, almost harsh, to the point where I was taken aback by the first spray. It's a little more floral when it settles. I would recommend this as a more mature scent, and a little goes a long way. Gifted by esteelauder

I recently tried Private Collection Legacy by Frédéric Malle and was thoroughly impressed. Its vibrant green notes, blended with Tarragon, Basil, and Galbanum, created a bold yet sophisticated scent. I purchased the Coffret Set of samples, and when I tried Private Collection Legacy I was shocked and sad to see this great icon created by Estee herself being distorted and greatly played with in a disastrous way, I know Mall is a big name in perfume world, but I'm not sure if he is a real "NOSE" that is being real talent or expected to take this big job, it is a huge responsibility to take charge of "changing" and "improving" perfumes that are already perfect and approved by alot of generations. In my opinion it is a disastrous "mutilation" of some pieces of art. I tested all of them and am sad and disappointed. Please at least keep the original ones safe for us Estee Lauder classic perfumes lover.
