Estwing Drilling Hammer 3 lb

Love estwing hammers, find them well balanced, and a good grip and striking head. Only problem I have is some culprits keep stealing them when my backs turned.

This hammer would be great for you, if you are Thor, Baldr, Höðr, Víðarr, or Váli. Otherwise, maybe look for a lighter hammer. Might I suggest a 48 ounce hammer.

This is by far the best brand of lump hammers on the market, if you want a strong hammer that will smash the shite out of just about anything here you go! I recommend this if you need to chase walls smash out cast iron baths and all that fun stuff get the 3 lbs version, if you want something well balanced get the 2 lbs instead. The 3lbs is heavier towards the end but it does help to drive it more and I think it gives you more power in your swing. Very nicely made hammer will definitely last a lifetime just watch out for the site thief

Expensive, but you will pass this on to your kids

It's (a lot) more expensive than other club mallets or sledge hammers, but it is worth the expense. With a wood or fiberglass handle, there's always a chance (a slim one, to be true) of the hammer head popping off while you are swinging the club. It only happened once with us, but that was enough to convince me to pay extra for the forged, all-metal Estwing club mallet. We have used it with punches and chisels, but we mainly use it as small sledge hammer. It's been used to break up patio stones, break down 2x4 framing in our garage, etc. The short handle gives you better control than with a full-size regular sledge with a yard-long handle. hammer only problem with it is that it could use a slightly longer handle.

Hammer For A Mechanic

I bought this hammer to replace a fiberglass handle drilling hammer. This hammer feels comfortable when holding. I would highly recommend for everyday use. This will be the last drilling hammer you buy.

Hardened head and steel handle

I bought this to replace a hammer I had made from a cast steel head and a steel rod handle. I wanted a hardened head and a steel handle as I tire of breaking fiberglass handles. This one is one piece, and it is the 3 pound weight I was after. The handle could be longer, but it seems to fit my needs.

It is indestructible. It is a perfect hammer for what it was intended to be used for. Sadly it had another skill. It sprouted legs and walked off the jobsite. On my way to Lowe's to buy another. Hopefully my next one won't be able to walk as well.

What looks simple is shaped and textured not only to fit your hand comfortably in gloves, but textured to keep the hammer from slipping upon impact. best lil hammer out there

the fact that its a one piece forged hammer makes it incredible safe to use as there is never a fear that the hammer head will fly off during a powerful swing. I use this in construction quite brutally I might add, it hammers anchors into concrete so easily and destroys pallets like they were but mere twine.the short but grippy handle is the perfect length to fit into tight spaces as well, overall an amazing hammer!o by the way, the title says 3 oz but it is actually 3lbs incase anyone was wondering
