Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place Flawless Wear Concealer - 7C Ultra Deep 7ml

I usually use the liquid Double Wear, but my skin hasnt been getting along with liquidcream products since starting tretinoin prescription topical for acne. A few people recommended switching to a powder foundation while my skin adjusts, since I guess its a bit lighter on the skin and sits on top instead of absorbing. I was worried a powder would accentuate any dry areasflakes from the tretinoin, and I had a rough time finding a good shade match at the drug store. So I was skeptical. Ive been really impressed with this product The powder provides great coverage, looks natural, and hides pores even better than the liquid DW. Doesnt look cakey at all, and I find any flakes I get from the tretinoin dont mess up the powder the way they do any liquid foundation kinda gross, I know, sorry. I dont know how this compares to other powder foundations, but it seems to be an extremely wellformulated product, especially with spring and summer coming along. I might even switch permanently from liquid DW to this. It seems to work equally well on my dry spots and the rest of my skin which is usually oily. I blot maybe once or twice a day and top up with some Tarteguard powder sunscreen, and it seems to stay freshlooking. No issues applying blushbronzerhighlighter on top. And its MUCH faster and easiertoapply than liquid.

I have extremely dry, flaky skin and I find that this is the ONLY foundation that leaves a nice smooth finish. I make sure that my skin is exfoliated, properly moisturised and primed and the finish is always perfect. I dont set it with powder as it doesnt need it in terms of staying power and I prefer more of a dewy finish rather than a matte finish.Ive used many different foundations over the years high end and budget, but always came back to this one because nothing else compares.The coverage is completely buildable, so you can wear it fairly sheer, or you can build it up to complete full coverage.It contains SPF 10 which is ok, but I use an SPF 3050 underneath it aswell just to be safe.The only downside to this product is that it is no good for professional flash photography, as the SPF creates a white cast in photos. So I wont be able to wear it on my wedding day It would be great if Este Lauder would create a professional version of this product which contains no SPF and leaves no white cast.

I bought this in 2C and found this to be a good under eye concealer for my 60+ year old skin. It has a very soft radiance to it that brightens that area, but it's not too thick to be noticeable. I do have very, very slight creasing but can minimize it by moisturizing that area well, waiting and then applying only a little at a time. I use the foundation in 2C as well and was advised to get the 1C to brighten but I am glad I didn't as that would have been too light. This shade makes the transition from foundation to concealer seamless and natural looking. It's a bit lighter and brighter anyway due to the slight radiance in it. Next I am going to try the other Estée Lauder concealer for coverage of some melasma.
