Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place Matte Powder Foundation SPF10 3W1 Tawny

all of these Estee Lauder products are very helpful for me. These were purchased to conceal a bruise mark along my jaw line from a recent removal of cyst . There was a lengthy area in which this occurred. This is a complete success . I attended a special afternoon occasion that was important to me.You have two staff who worked with me to make this happen. They deserve special recognition for helping me. Their names are Paulina and Yazim (sp?). Please acknowledge them. They are providing a very positive image of Macy's.

Am I using this wrong?

Lol i have no idea if im using this wrong or not! I set on top of the liquid foundation version of this or any other cream/liquid foundation I own. I've set with a sponge, a powder pouf, a brush and the cheap sponge it comess with but it doesn't actually set. I use a huge amount and set for a while too, but my skin still feels wet to the touch after i tried setting with this powder. I've tried different techniques and applicators but I can't seem to make it work. This makes me sad becuase it's on the pricy side.

Amazing!!

I love this powder so much I would give it 100 stars!!! It minimises my pores and makes my skin look flawless and even-toned all day.I was surprised to see a low review on here from a customer so I thought I would jump in to clear up any confusion. The refill is easy to remove and replace. The blue tray is part of the refill (very classy). I can see in a previous review image that the blue tray has been broken and they possibly tried to remove the silver disc instead.I can see why someone might make this mistake if they are not familiar with the product as you can't tell it's a replaceable tray when it's clicked in (I love this feature by the way)I have uploaded a video if anyone is confused by this. Disappointed!

I bought my refill pack, in readiness for my powder to be replaced. I read the instructions, which said to push from underneath and compact would pop out. So disappointed, because this wasn't true. My compact was "stuck" in, and was not easy to get out, as suggested. When asking for help from my Husband to remove the refill from the packaging, this again was glued in. How were we ever going to remove this, and put it in my compact. Well, as you can probably guess, my replacement has now cracked.I am extremely disappointed, and feel very let down. I am now left with a refill that is cracked, and can't use in my handbag.I would like to know what you can do about this?

HG status: best powder foundation

This is the best powder foundation I’ve ever tried. It made my skin look airbrushed and blurred my huge pores. I’m obsessed. Longevity is VERY good, lasts throughout the day. Medium-high buildable coverage (wouldnt say full coz some of my acne scars still showed through a bit but really not bad at all). Took off half a star coz: 1)already pricey and they increased it even more from before (RM209 > RM230). 2) Sand is a decent enough shade match if you’re a light olive but it still came out a little orange on me but thankfully not too bad so I’ll rock it regardless (sad life for us olives no). And 3) it does feel a little heavy on, you definitely feel like you have something on ur face. I Love Ellie!!

I have used Estee Lauder my whole life! My mother used it. I came in to get a new compact & found it'd been replaced in the line. I wasn't sure what to get from the replacement, in terms of color etc. The thing that made this sale special was the saleswoman!! She was a dream! She helped me figure it out all the way through. She spent the time to make sure I felt comfortable and happy, and was so kind! She was amazing!! Her name was Ellie Davoudi, if you could show her recognition! I like to tell companies when something goes right! This made my visit so special, it matters more than any silly item you might need! The human connections are what matter at the end of the day!

Mostly great...

I wanted to try a powder foundation for quite a long time. I have postmenopausal combination skin. My dry patches are very, very dry (think saltines crumbled with desert sand under a heat lamp)... I do a ton of moisturizing skin prep before applying. It goes on nicely with a brush, it lasts for hours, it gives a beautifully smooth & even finish for the most part, and the colour match is 100% perfect. The only downside (hence 4 stars) is that it adheres oddly to my driest areas, even after skin prep. I'll use it all but probably won't buy it again.

Silky and creaseless

This is my first purchase I have never personally used this cosmetic brand. It is something that I was more what my mother always used Estee Lauder. I only got to use the lipsticks and other little mischievous play makeup with her cosmetics, of course now that time has change I understand. Why? My mother kept coming back to this cosmetic line. This powder is very natural looking and seamless best of all it does not crease on those pesky lines around the eyes. I will sure continue to come back for a refill. Even though this one I purchased is a bit on the warm tone which for it will look even better for my skin tone in the summer. Therefore, I will probably get the neutral shade that would fit me better.

Such a Fantastic Foundation

So I typically use Make Up For Ever powder foundation, but I was getting pretty low on it and wanted to order one of the powder foundations offered in the recent points multiplyer promo. Estee Lauder has a great reputation so I decided to give this one a shot and hoped I'd chosen the correct color (with help from the shade matching feature). I have only worn this once and am already in love. It just looks like skin - not dry, not dewy but just right. It's not cakey in the least and you barely need any product. I HIGHLY recommend this foundation and think I've found my new favorite foundation. It is pricey up front but due to barely needing any product, it should last a good while. To say I'm pleased with this is an understatement.
