the new lipstick packaging felt somewhat filmsy, doesnt feel luxurious like the old blue packaging. but still has magnetic cap which is great.Creamy texture, Smooth application, Non-drying formula. Edit: This new formula feels drying on lips after a while, and not creamy/moisturising enough. i love the old formulation better, which is more creamy, hydrating and leaves soft satiny shine.. this one feels exactly like the EL old soft matte lipstick formula. bottomline: doesnt live up to my expectation

Bring back the old case (Pure Color Envy)

Love the color (685 Midnight Kiss) and formulation. Rich color, long-lasting, softening, comfortable.However, the case feels very lightweight and cheap compared to the previous lipstick line (Pure Color Envy) that this appears to have replaced. The previous lipstick cases had a high-quality, heavy weight to them and were almost like collectible keepsakes. This case feels like a drugstore lipstick that would be less than half the price. Recently with inflation, I've noticed not only prices of all types of products increasing, but also quality plummeting.@Estée Lauder - you have been one of the most reliable beauty brands for a long time. The lipstick glides on smoothly and offers full coverage on your lips with one application.Due to the creme consistency and moisture complex your lips certainly feel moisturized and cared for. I used a lip primer to try and prevent bleeding, however I still encountered feathering/slight bleeding of the color. I hate to report that I also did not find it to be very long lasting.You will need to reapply throughout the day.The color is more of an orange red and I tend to prefer a more blue toned red. I did not dislike the color,just a personal preference. I will say that it does not feel as dry as other lipsticks.Due to the various oils of the moisture complex it does leave your lips feeling more moisturized than you might expect from a lipstick. If you are looking for a sexy,bold lip full of moisturizing benefits then give this a try. After all,carnal may be your only sexy accessory needed...go ahead and leave your mark!

Creamy and powerfully pigmented

I received this lipstick free from Estée Lauder and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I received the Pure Color Crème Lipstick in the shade Carnal (520). I admit to being intimidated by the bright orange/red shade. I wear mostly neutrals. But the lipstick was very creamy and went on wonderfully without a lip liner. I saw no bleeding of the color onto my face. The formula is very long lasting and pigmented with a capital P. While I did see transfer when I ate or drank, it took several hours for me to notice the difference on my lips. And once the lipstick did wear off (well over five hours), it left behind an attractive stain that looked like I was still wearing lipstick. I also enjoyed the packaging. Disappointed with formula and color change!

I love Estée Lauder products, but they have changed the color and formula of this particular lipstick. It used to be a moisturizing, creamy, deep rosy terracotta - the kind that goes with most every skin tone and makes your teeth look bright and white. Now it is dryer, more matte, and pulls way more orange/peach tones than before. Super disappointed since this has always been my signature color, but I finally ran through my old stash and now I need to find a dupe! :( Packaging is gorgeous though!

Gorgeous Lipstick

I loved the slipstick from the moment I swept it over my lips. I am amazed at the beautiful coverage it only took one swipe. The color is amazing and full. It is one of the most beautiful reds that I've ever seen. And I have tried so many reds over my life, they're always either too orange or purple for me and this one is absolutely perfect. With Valentine's Day coming up, I now have the perfect lipstick to go with my look. I love how it feels on my lip, very soft, not sticky or tacky. There was very little transfer to any cup or glass that I was drinking out of, and at the end of the evening last night when I removed my makeup, it came off like a dream with my makeup remover. Love EL lipsticks

I have used EL lipsticks for many years but many of my favourite shades have been discontinued which is very frustrating and has led me to buy other brand but none I've tried have met the wonderful texture of EL. However, I was happy to discover the Pure Colour "Irresistible" shade #440. I find it fairly neutral and versatile. I needed a replacement one but it was out of stock at Shoppers so missed out on the seniors' discount there (20%) but was able to find it on the EL site and get a 15% discount for a first order plus free shipping. I still find your lipsticks to be soothing and comfortable to wear. I hope this is one of the shades you keep as it's expensive to keep trying new ones.

One glide for glam

It is my 3rd lipstick from Estee Lauder. Does not feel sticky, it feels like powder is touching your lips, it’s highly pigmented and very light and soft on lips. The shape is beautiful, it’s magnetic closing, which I prefer. The lipstick also has textured lines and a beautiful logo on tip of lipstick (which makes it easier to determine the fresh packaging) Comparison -Big Bang berry by sugar is heavy on purplish pink side -The undertone of Afterhours is very similar to Diva by Mac. However, the difference is that the red of afterhours comes with the tone of purple little more. It came with a beautiful lipstick pouch and a mini version of face powder (which I already have and it’s super nice).

Pure Color Lipstick Intense Nude #561

The quality of the lipstick is fine. The problem is that the color has changed I have used Intense Nude #561 for years. On the latest purchase the color has more of an orange tone. All my previous orders were more of a wine tone. You can hold up the old and the new lipstick next to each other and see the difference in color. See attached photo. The image on the left is the new lipstick. Looks like I have to find a new shade similar to the old Intense Nude.
