I got a sample of this to try because I have heard mixed things about natural deodorants. I was expecting to have to go through a transition period where my body would have to adjust and I might sweat and smell a bit more at first, but it started working for me right away! I've been wearing it for three days now and have had no problems. I appreciate that it doesn't have baking soda because that is very irritating to the skin. The smell of the bar is nice, but not anywhere near as strong as other deodorants, so I don't really smell anything while I wear it, which I personally miss. For me that is the only downside. On the plus side my underarms just don't smell of anything. It also doesn't glide on as smoothly, but once it warms a little it's fine.

This one smells absolutely incredible- fresh and natural. You arenât left feeling that you have wet or oily pits, and if youâre like me and find that any wetness underarm feels uncomfortable, regardless of whether it is sweat or deodorant, then youâll love this as there is nothing âwetâ or even âslimyâ. And unlike powder deodorant bars that can absorb skin moisture, dry hard over time and then feel like a sanding block on your skin, this one stays soft enough for comfortable application.Despite this deodorant being about stopping smells rather than sweat, I can say that it not only stops smells (The UK heatwave of 2022 proved this!) but it also kept me a little drier than I expected (due to its absorbency rather than it blocking my skin, I think) My wife has tried this too and even with her sensitive skin, she had no issues.I should also add that the smell of this bar is very much a scent that even the most traditional âmanliest of menâ will feel comfortable wearing, without it being a predominantly âmasculineâ scent. Iâm a woman who doesnât wear many âgirlyâ smells but I think this will suit all types of people.I was very surprised when my wife then told me that this had been a free gift when she bought me a load of other Ethique products! To get an entire free bar of deodorant, not just a small sample, is very generous. Several months on, the bar is thin as you can see from the picture but still going strong! I will certainly be getting more of this in future

My partner and I have both tested out this deodorant and absolutely love it. I lean towards being a sweaty, stinky person and have tried many other popular natural deodorant brands and have been horrified to find that I have body odor halfway through my workday. Up until now, the only remedy was either sticking with natural products and showering twice a day or going back to traditional deodorants. My partner got me hooked on this product and it works just as well as traditional and the scent is amazing! Now that we live in an rv, water conservation is important and I have appreciated that I don't feel the need to shower in the morning and at night just to feel and smell clean. We like this so much that we are getting ready to order our 4th stick!

The scent was a little more mild than I was expecting, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I'm often really sensitive to scents & typically go fragrance free when I can, but I'm loving that I can enjoy Ethiques scented products without getting a headache or feeling ill.This particular scent, I think, is a really nice gender neutral one. My boyfriend & I both really enjoy the smell! It's quite unique.And this deodorant works quite well for me - whereas most deodorants (especially natural ones) typically don't. I've been very happy with it so far.Also gotta say the packaging is too cute! It does seem a tad hard to push up at times, but not enough to bother me. I could see that making it tricky for a disabled person maybe though.
Finally I've found a deodorant that works for me, is natural, is eco-friendly, AND.. as well as all that...It also smells subtle but beautiful, and, it's so soft and creamy (and baking-soda-free so not irritating), that it feels like moisturising and caring for my skin every time I put it on â¤ď¸It's so lovely. I love this product, so much.As it's creamy, it can rub off on clothes, but not overly so, just when you put tops on. Same as any conventional deodorant. And it's oil based, so any marks just wash off in the wash, much more easily than conventional deodorant does I find. I just rub them in, at the time đ (mind you, I haven't tried with fine synthetic type clothing, like work tops etc, so can't comment on that)
Iâm allergic to some ingredient in almost all stick deodorants, which is super lame because I like using a stick over spray any day. This one is reliably fantastic and I expect I could switch to the unscented if needed (I have a lavender sensitivity, so the Botanic can be problematic for me otherwise Iâd use it). This scent is pretty gender neutral and not super strong, which is great. It does leave a white residue that transfers to clothes, which is the only downside. It rubs in by hand and that does a pretty good job keeping it âcleanâ when I wear sleeveless shirts. I do switch to spray in summer sometimes when the residue is a bigger issue. I think Iâve been using this for about a year and am only on my second full-sized stick so it lasts a long time too.

'All the time'. Nah mate, I feel like this product is only suitable for people who rarely move or barely sweat. I tried EVERYTHING. I reapplied, I washed under my arms during the day and reapplied (what a chore), I changed the clothes I wore so nothing was against my underarms, nope, still just remained the worst smelling I have ever been. If you're reading this Ethique, please don't just copy and paste the same responses you put on all the other bad reviews. I absolutely adore Ethique and every single product I use⌠except this one!I am not a overly stinky person, or at least Iâve never been able to smell myself. Unfortunately this deodoriser simply does not work with me. I get so stinky within hours of applying. Like going through puberty smelly. And this is without exercise, mind you. Iâve tried this product twice and have had to stop and go back to the supermarket toxic plastic deodorants for now, sadly. Iâm so sorry, Ethique! I love you guys but this deodorant ainât it. If you come out with a powerful one in the future, Iâll be all over it!
I live in an area that stays pretty warm year-round, staying around 70-90 degrees Fahrenheit (average of 80) for around 9 months out of the year. I've been using this deodorant for around a year now, and it works well enough for me. These last me around 2 months in the summer and 4 in the cooler months (a little expensive for how long it lasts, but I prefer the extra cost for the sake of my body and the planet). I also tend to apply pretty generously.The sticks can be hard to finish up once you hit the very end of the bar, as the last quarter/eighth inch or so tends to pop off when it gets that thin--but I just save those pieces and melt them into my new stick with a hairdryer.Another slight quirk with this product is that it balls into crumbs which then fall out of my sleeves--I'm not sure if this is due to over-application, friction against my clothes, or simply the product expanding as it absorbs moisture, but it does happen. I don't mind it at all, I rather find it entertaining, and they're small enough not to be noticeable until weekly vacuuming picks them up. Overall, works just fine for me ! And I love the scent--not too floral or sweet, but not too earthy either. Perfectly good smelling and fitting for feminine, masculine, or anything in between :)
