I'll start this off by saying that I have light carpet, tan tile, and 3 black dogs. So I had dog hair tumbleweeds everywhere and I needed a lot of help...Pros: First, this vacuum helps A LOT. It runs every night at midnight and I've noticed that I no longer have clumps of dog hair blowing around the tile kitchen. Second, it is very quiet! I run it at night and the only time I've heard it is if it bumps into my closed door which hasn't been many times since it's "learned" my house. Third, it is super slim so it fits under most of my furniture with ease.Cons: It works better on tile than on carpet. I think I was hoping this vacuum would pick up all the visible dog hair in the carpet - maybe not the deep embedded stuff, but at least the hair on the surface. I think I was hoping this vacuum would pick up all the visible dog hair in the carpet - maybe not the deep embedded stuff, but at least the hair on the surface. It gets some, but not all. I have very light carpet and black dogs, so the carpet will look very good from standing height but if you get closer there is still a lot of dog hair left. However, it has still helped to knock down the amount of hair rolling around the floor and I only have to pull out the big vacuum once a week or so to deep clean.Overall: It's been a good purchase! Easy to use, easy to empty and replace parts, very quiet, and definitely shows evidence of all it picks up when I empty the dust bin. I might have gone for a stronger suction to pick up more dog hair, but I'm okay with the one I have for now.

A great product so far. I've been using my Eufy 30C for about a week, and he has become a favorite pet, if you can believe that. I didn't expect the emotional attachment. He bustles around, and it's cute to watch him go about his job with single-minded determination. He charges himself at his little home charger. It takes about an hour, then when it's his scheduled time, he bustles around the house sucking up dirt and dust, especially from places that have never been dusted since the beginning of time, like under my couch, bed, and love seat. He can run for about 100 minutes on my hardwood floors with a full charge. He usually comes back home for a recharge with a full dust hamper. It's so rewarding when I empty it. He can run for about 100 minutes on my hardwood floors with a full charge. He usually comes back home for a recharge with a full dust hamper. It's so rewarding when I empty it. I do this every day or so. There is also some weekly cleaning, mostly keeping his central roller brush clean of hair and fibers. Just flip him over and put him on your lap and give him a good cleaning; it only takes a minute. He seems to enjoy it. He is very adept at getting around and even over obstacles. His little motor is very strong, and he has the ability to get over fairly tall obstacles. For instance, I have a house that's over a century old, and it has chamfered 1x6 boards dividing the rooms (see photos). He is able to get over those, with difficulty, because of the chamfers, but he is persistent and eventually makes it . There is one board that he tends to straddle and he used to get stuck on the end and sit there and beep, but I cut an angled bumper and put it at the end and this bounces him off the obstacle so he can keep going. He has a strong little motor as I said, and his strong vacuum picks up just about everything except dropped coins or bottle caps. He tends to just push those around. This is convenient, especially when he pushes them out from under the couch or my bed so I can pick or sweep them up. He uncovered some treasures this way the first day, in addition to sucking up lots of dust bunnies, and in all fairness, dust rhinoceroses. He bustles around on a random course that eventually covers the whole house. He has two little whirling brushes up front that sweep dust and dirt towards his middle, where a cylindrical brush sweeps it up with the help of the vacuum. It all goes in his little hopper tray, which slides out of his nether region fairly easily when is time to empty it. It took me about a week to get all the "Eufy traps" taken care of.. For instance, he can't deal with electrical cords on the floor: he just sits there and beeps when he gets tangled up. So I used the zip ties provided to bundle all those cords up and he is much happier now. While he is very low to the ground, nevertheless he was also getting stuck under my couch (it sags a little) so I got some of those furniture coasters at Walmart, and these give it about a quarter of an inch more clearance. He bustles around under the couch and love seat just fine, now. There is one corner in the living room that seems to defeat him, so I used the supplied magnetic adhesive strip to block that off so he doesn't even go there anymore. The magnetic strip is kind of ugly, but it's better than having to rescue him every time he cleans. I also had to move a couple of end tables so that he doesn't get stuck, but that was easy and not a bother. Just part of learning to work together. I am so very pleased with how clean my hardwood floors are, and even the small area rugs I have down at the exterior doors are really clean. I have never been able to get my floors this clean with my upright vacuum cleaner, especially under furniture. The Eufy phone app is helpful, as you can use it as a remote control to get your Eufy backed off obstacles that he can't figure out on his own. It's easy to set up. You can do a certain amount of supervision from work if you need to. For instance, if I get a notification that Eufy is stuck, I just get on the app and tell him to back up or go left or right until he unsticks himself. He has only been trapped once that I haven't gotten that to work and had to carry him back to his charger when I got home. There is no camera, so you have to guess, but you can usually get him unstuck if you have him try different directions and just wait for him to muscle his way out. One of the whirling brushes got pulled off by getting jammed in a crack (that I've since fixed), but it was easy to pop that back on. He comes with spares, too. So now I have an amusing new pet and clean floors. I can't imagine life without my Eufy, now. I could have paid more and gotten a Roomba that lets you map out the house, but that would have been a lot of bother and complexity, and Eufy manages to bustle around and get the whole thing done on his own random pattern, anyway. I'll give him two thumbs up, five stars, or whatever, both as a tool and as an entertaining little pet. (He woke up as I write this and is off looking for dirt.) It's kind of fun.

Purchased this vacuum 20 months ago. Have been using it few times a week, in an all-hardwood floor home, with no pets but 2 kids (< 5yo) hounding it every time it comes out. For features and suction power and doing the job, for the price I purchased, it is a 4.5 star robo vacuum. It’s my first, so I can’t compare it to a Roomba or anything. After 20 months, it gives out a giant noise when it runs. On inspection, the center roller brush no longer spins. Even after I cleaned out everything I can, still the noise remains and it grumbles. Upon research, it’s the square-shaped joint/connector on the machine (not the roller) that got worn out, now it no longer is a square shape to match the roller end, but a circle shape. Online forums suggest this is not a replaceable part by Aukey, and they can only sell you a refurb for you to replace the part. Takes time and money and anger. No go for me.I just need the roller brush to spin. Here’s my DIY idea: put a small rubber band ring around the roller brush end male connector for it to regain traction with the worn out female end. Where can I find one such tiny rubber band? Looking around the house, I got one: tube balloon. This is a 10 mins mod you can do yourself. The balloon ring works, and stuffing it into the vacuum gives it the grip it needs to rotate again. Noise is gone as well.

I love Eufy! Granted, I've never had any kind of robovac before, so I have nothing to compare it to, but considering the aggravation of cleaning the floors myself, vs letting eufy do it, I can honestly say that I LOVE this product! I would buy it again in a heartbeat!I have two dogs, both hypoallergenic with very little shedding. (Eufy picks up more of my hair than theirs.) However... We live in a very muddy area, with a gravel driveway, and the dogs are spoiled rotten and let out to play at least 15 times a day. Mud, dirt, rocks, tiny little sticks and leaves that get caught in the dogs' fur, are constantly all over the floor. The bigger things we pick up by hand. Eufy does the rest, and she does an amazing job.We also have an unfinished kitchen floor, with three different levels of flooring. (Think subflooring, 60's linoleum, then tiled linoleum over that.) Eufy doesn't have any problem getting over those edges and bumps. The only problem she does have is with the mats under the dogs' water bowl. She usually can get past it, but she causes quite a ruckus until she climbs over it.Only one room in my house has carpet, and we rarely use it, so I often close that door when turning Eufy on. The few times I've let her in there, though, she did a great job. (Especially compared to my lazy standards.)I would definitely recommend getting this robovac. It has made my life so much easier, and I can finally walk around my house barefoot again on a daily basis! :)
Let me start out by saying that I am a huge Eufy fan. We have purchased five RoboVacs over the last five years, six if you count the one I gave my sister-in-law.We live on rural acreage with six people and two hairy as heck indoor/outdoor dogs in the house. The Eufys, I’m sure, are not designed for the kind of mess that gets tracked indoors here, but they handle it like champions! I’m so satisfied with Eufy, I don’t even look at other brands when I need another one. All are still up & running just fine, with our first battery replacement in our very first RoboVac 11 having happened this month. That said, I do have an issue with the most recent Eufy we purchased this month - the RoboVac 30.In the accompanying photos, you will see our 11 S on the left and the 30 on ... MoreLet me start out by saying that I am a huge Eufy fan. That said, I do have an issue with the most recent Eufy we purchased this month - the RoboVac 30.In the accompanying photos, you will see our 11 S on the left and the 30 on the right. Although the 30 seems to be a great model overall, it doesn’t handle heavy dog hair well. The opening into the 30’s debris tray is smaller than the other RoboVac models we have. You can see in the photos, the hair deposited in the debris tray was severely limited by the small opening. The hair clogged into the shape of the opening and the tray was only partially filled at the end of the battery charge.Further details: We run these two RoboVacs almost daily in the main living area (entry / living room / kitchen / dining areas all connected). The flooring terrain is wood and vinyl only (no carpets). Both RoboVacs pictured were running simultaneously throughout these areas. The hair is out of control right now because our one large dog (Anatolian, a livestock guardian) is blowing her winter coat (#justkillmenow). Normal amounts of dog hair might not be an issue for the 30? However, our 11 and 11 S models handle the normal AND ridiculous amounts of hair just fine. Unlike the 11 and 11 S, the 30 is choking under the added pressure of the extra hair. The debris you see in the photos was ALL collected in one run (both RoboVacs are fairly new and still have full battery cycles). Prior to the vacuum run pictured, both RoboVacs were set down to run with completely clean, empty trays, completely clean roller brushes, and clean filters. You can see why two machines are needed almost daily. Every time the RoboVacs finish a run, I clean the roller & spinning brushes and wash the tray and filters with soap and water. Every second or third time I also wash the roller & spinning brushes with soap & water.Additionally, we have one RoboVac 30G model. I used to run the 11 S and the 30 G models simultaneously in the main living areas. The 30 G is less effective (maybe 15-20 %?) at collecting hair, sand, etc... than the 11 S, in my experience. I bought the 30 to replace the 30 G. Unfortunately, the 30 was wayyyyyyy worse than the 30 G.If I had to do it over again, I would buy only the 11 S model. If I could return the 30 and 30 G models for 11 S models, I’d do it in a heartbeat. As it is, I’ll go back to running the 11 S and 30 G models together - - at least while the one dog is blowing her coat. When she’s no longer shedding, I’ll probably give the 30 another shot in the main living area. My hunch is that - absent the clogging amounts of hair on the floor - the 30 is superior to the 30 G. Based on my experience with the 30 G, I’m going to avoid models that only have one spinning brush and set vacuuming patterns.I can’t imagine many people put their RoboVacs to the workload that we do out here in the country. I would also imagine any of these models would be terrific for a normal household. Even though I’ve been complaining, I rave about all the RoboVacs we have. I love them and would be losing my mind without them. They are - all of them - fabulous little machines for the price. But... if you live with an insane amount of animal hair, the 11 S is a better choice.
Our old Eufy 11 finally died shortly before Cyber Monday, and we decided to buy another after looking at reviews on other brands, including iRobot/Roomba. The company behind Eufy has worked to build a solid customer service repoire as well as continue to improve their products. That was clearly visible to us when we purchased the new one and it did even better than the old one. This time we bought the extended warranty. Now the one we bought had some mechanical noises after owning it for a little over a month. I called their support and they emailed me a mailing label and had a brand new one delivered within 3 days time. The customer service was EXCELLENT! I have this scheduled to auto run at 7:15 every morning. I don't expect deep cleaning from a robovac, and I don't expect a robovac to replace the purpose of my vacuum. That's not what these things are designed for. So anyone looking for a machine to be their all-in-one house cleaning maid is not going to find this technology yet with a robovac. Stop expecting too much from these. They do require a lil maintenance after they run, such as cleaning the brush roller, emptying the bin and replacing filters. But if you have something like a large white fuzzy husky mix dog, like we do, you will appreciate a machine that just gently picks up and maintains some amount of cleanliness and reduces dog fur everywhere. It does what I expect it to do and sometimes better. I plan to continue to purchase from a company that supports their customers and continues to aim for a quality product.
It took a lot of thought and consideration on our part as to whether to pull the trigger and buy Eufy. We have a twice monthly housekeeping service and our house looks clean for the most part, but lately my husband and I have both been suffering from allergies that we never encountered before. He got tested and is highly allergic to dust. Do you see dust in our house? No. Is it the cleanest house in town? No. We also have a cat, and a house that is a combo of hardwood, tile and carpet. We have had Eufy less than a week and the amount of dust and cat hair it has picked up has been nothing short of amazing. He gets into all the hard to reach places, such as under the bed, that I know my housekeeper doesn’t. He gets into all the hard to reach places, such as under the bed, that I know my housekeeper doesn’t. I’ve been having Eufy go from room to room, concentrating on one room at a time to start, and I’ve had to run him 3-4 times per room. The carpeted rooms, unsurprisingly, have been the worst.I am so glad we got Eufy. He’s been well worth the price. My husband is an ENT and he’s already talking up Eufy with his patients who have allergies. My only regret is not getting a WiFi Eufy. It takes Eufy a long time to charge in between charges, and given that I’m in and out of the house, it would be nice to see that he’s fully charged to have him go over the room again. But I’m getting around that by estimating the charge time and programming the remote.I have had many household improvement purchase regrets (like the slow cooker I never use). Eufy is not one of them!
After owning a Roomba 805 for about 4 yrs, I liked how it cleaned the main floor of our hose but I hated how loud it was. It was difficult being in the same room with it. It also made a lot of racket banging into things as it cleaned. So it was vital that it’s replacement was, first and foremost, quiet. After doing a lot of research,I settled on the Eufy in large part because of reviews I read as to how quiet it was. (Small side note: Robot vacuum manufactures should include decibel levels of their machines as a standard spec. Not many do.)And it is much more quiet than the Roomba. I don’t have to to turn up the TV when it’s running. So quiet I was worried if it would clean a well as the Roomba. I don’t have to to turn up the TV when it’s running. So quiet I was worried if it would clean a well as the Roomba. So the first time I emptied the dust bin, I was shocked how much it picked up a day after the Roomba ran. And a bonus is how the clam shell design of the dust bin made emptying it so much better than the Roomba. It’s also lower profile and doesn’t get caught up under some furniture like the Roomba did. It also gets back to the charging base almost every time. I always thought it was a bonus if the the Roomba got back to the base. The run time has been about 90 minutes on a 70/30 ratio of hardwood to area rugs.Taking into account how quiet it is, run time, ease of emptying, ease of programming with included remote, low profile and what I paid for it (under $200) I couldn’t be more pleased. Some more expensive machines offer Wi-Fi connectivity and mapping capabilities. In my experience these options would be nice to have, but not necessary to get a good cleaning job.Did I mention how quiet it is? Lol.
My previous botvac was great but it isn’t working for some reason. After having one for several years, I don’t want to be without one so I thought I’d give eufy a try. It was much less expensive and I wasn’t prepared to fork out the money for another botvac at the time. The eufy is quieter, the suction is really good and it has the larger, spinning side brushes to pull in debris and dog hair. It runs randomly, turning in the opposite direction when it senses and obstacle. It does not run in rows until the entire area has been cleaned like my botvac did. Once the battery life is gone (which occurs after 1 hour & 45 minutes) it docks itself and charges and will not run again until prompted by pushing the button on the top of the robovac or using the remote. I have it scheduled to run everyday at 9am to keep the dog hair under control. I keep all of my interior doors closed so that it only runs in the kitchen, dining area, breakfast room and living room. All of these rooms have wood floors & are the main areas where my 3 dogs hang out. Since it runs randomly, it may go over the same spot several times and miss some spots all together. If I do allow it to run in rooms with carpet it does ok. It gives it the “just vacuumed” appearance but I would have to question how deep it really gets. My carpet is considered low pile. And it’s gets stuck easily under dressers, which is another reason I keep interior doors closed while it is running. So with the decent battery life and limited area it’s worth having. The smaller the area the more likely it will get full coverage by the time it has to dock again. No regrets, but eventually I will get the more expensive one that cleans every square inch.
I am totally amazed at this lower end vacuum!!! I wondered if I’d miss smart phone technology (nope, only used the physical remote several times in 1 month) and mapping (totally not worth it for 2-3x the cost in my opinion). It DOES vacuum seemingly sporadically but truly gets a lot up. Our first run: my husband vacuumed really well with our new shark vacuum and had filled three big canisters with dirt and hair. House looked great. We ran this robot vacuum and it still got its canister full of fine dirt and hair-we were amazed!! Now, with running robovac every 1-2 days we only get about half a canister total with the shark at the weekly vacuum. That is a good measure of its effectiveness! Now, with running robovac every 1-2 days we only get about half a canister total with the shark at the weekly vacuum. That is a good measure of its effectiveness! It seems to be especially good at getting fine dirt and dog hair. The only possible downside is that several of our rugs in front of the doors had some frayed corners and this thing realllly frayed them. However if we had vacuumed them with our shark it would have done the same thing (we shake them outside and wash with that vacuum). So we just can’t be as lazy as I want and leave rugs like that down before we turn it on. Also, sometimes it really jams itself under a dresser or something weird like that. I have to rescue it 2-3 times every time I run it for the full 1.5 hrs, but it’s totally worth it to have a house that is and looks vacuumed every day!!!*This goes on sale a lot so watch it in your cart...I snagged it for $153 in mid-January 2020 when retail is almost always $220+ when it’s not on super sale.*
