I love it!! The amount of dust my EUFY collected from under my bed is frankly embarrassing. It has done everything I have asked it to.The remote is great, as you can direct it to a specific spot. I love the edges function that directs the vacuum to clean the edges of the room, which it did successfully.I was concerned it wouldn't cope with my high-pile rug (the pic doesn't show the height so well), it was able to make it on the rug and keep going, but twice the side brushes did get caught and came off as they went under the rug as the vacuum rolled onto the rug - so I think low-pile rugs are the safer option. This thing absolutely rocks. Its pretty easy to maintain and there are some great tear down videos on youtube that show how to remove and clean the wheels. The cleaning tool is a nice addition, but the tip of it does get pretty easily damaged so try not to pry too hard with it. It is an easy fix though. It not as quiet as some people say it is. I personally don't think it is quiet enough for you to sleep as it vacuums in the same room. But, if it is on the other end of the house, then it isn't a problem at all. I would say it is around the same loudness as most microwaves or stick vacuums which isn't too bad. The weight of the thing as it climbs over rug edges or bumps into things adds a fair amount of noise, especially on hard flooring. The battery lasts a very long time and mine usually runs for around an hour and a half. I expect that it will eventually degrade as it runs through its cycles, like all lithium ion batteries eventually do, but it seems fairly easy to remove a couple of screws and to pop in a new one. It used to take me close to 2 days to thoroughly vacuum the house, now i can run it while i do other things which is a nice change. It hasn't given me any issues so far but I have been emptying it after every use and cleaning it thoroughly after every 3 runs or so. The nice thing is that all of the features can be controlled with a remote. No shady company smart device practices where they lock you out of the device until you create an account and give them access to your wifi, email, messages, microphone, camera, location info, photos, and whatnot. Just a machine that cleans.Side note: Yes it does get stuck on occasion. It is hilarious to watch. Yes it does miss the occasional spot. You can use the remote to drive it over the spot. Yes it can get tangled up in rug tassels. It is very, very rare. You just pop off the bristles and it unravels easily. I don't really consider these any deal breakers because it gives you way more time back than it requires and all of them seem like common problems for roombas in general.

I have only had the Eufy for a few days, but so far I am impressed with it. Putting it together was easy. After it was charged I had trouble getting it to run at first, but that was my fault because I didn't realize that the switch wasn't turned on. It goes under beds, tables, and couches and picks up a surprising amount of pet hair. One of the other reviews lamented that it almost needed a room to itself with 3 feet of empty space on either side of the charger and 6 feet in front, but I only have about 2 feet on each side and it has found its way home without difficulty, even when I tried it with only 3 feet in front. Usually it can figure out what to do when it encounters a piece of furniture, but it has had trouble with a few unusual things like the feet of a music stand. It's fun to direct it with the buttons on the remote. It stays in one room when I tell it to and navigates a change in flooring to get out when I don't. Haven't tried it upstairs yet to make sure that it won't fall downstairs. I'm very happy with it so far!

Eufy’s are not durable.

Now it has failed with a side brush error. I alredy tried replacing the gears inside the side brush motor without luck. I also fitted a new motor with no luck either. This must be a main board failure.5. Since I reported the junk quality I was given a steep discount and bought an 11C. Same thing as an 11s but it adds wifi connectivity. I’ve had to open this one up for side brush gear replacements (these are really weak apparently). Thankfully the fault is so common you can get a stronger gear set from eBay, if you’re mechanically inclined to do such a thing. Now this battery has died suddenly. The vacuum just stops working instead of what you would expect of getting ever shorter cleaning cycles. These are barely above disposable quality. I recommended the brand to friends and they got a DOA unit…

Great performance at this price point

This is not a Wi-Fi enabled smart device, and works directly with a pre-programmed remote control. Which in these days of the Internet of things I'm OK with. I learned of this vacuum from reading a Consumer Reports article where it was listed as having the best features for the price. I find this little robo vacuum to be perfect for my application, which is roughly 1100 square foot condominium with hardwood and tile floors, and also furniture that it can pass under. The article indicated that this vaccuums patterns can appear very random, which I would agree. Many times I find it going over the same spot numerous times. But for the price, I find it to be an excellent robo Vacuum that saves me the hassle of doing it myself. Also the edging feature is quite productive. The vacuum is able to follow along all of the walls, cabinets etc of a room and make fairly tight turns around corners and obstacles. I would not recommend this vacuum however if you have carpeting or even thick piled floor rugs. It does not have a roller rather it has some spinning sweepers on the corners that direct dirt into its suction port. Those types of applications I assume would be reserved for the higher end robo vacuums. Ultimately I think I'm hooked on never having to push a vacuum again and when this thing burns out I will happily replace it with a more advanced model.

I was really skeptical about this little robot and I am really glad I took a chance on it. My biggest regret is realizing how dusty/dirty my house gets on a daily basis! Seriously, how does this thing find this much dirt (hat tip to my dog...)??I have mine programmed to run every morning at 5am at high power. It is done around 6-615am. I will also sometimes run it again during the day on low power and it will run for longer than the 60 minute high power run. I've had it running while I was on a zoom call and it didn't disturb me at all. The slim profile is really great and can get under things that I don't usually even reach with the broom. The dust collector bin is super easy to clean. The brush does collect longer hair occasionally, but it doesn't seem to gather up my short haired dog's hair - that ends up right in the dust bin or on the filter. My two (silly) complaints:1. It just cleans in a random pattern and I'm not always sure it covers all of my floor area. I have this in my downstairs and it covers 5 rooms if all the doors are open (kitchen, living room, dining room, bathroom, office). I don't notice that there are any dusty spots on the floor, but there is no real way to track that it covered the whole floor. However, I could buy 3 Eufys for the price of the one that shows me the area it has covered, so I'll live.2. It sometimes gets stuck in weird spots. The first few weeks of owning it, it got stuck more often and we wern't as aware of things that might be issues; we weren't careful about picking things up, that rug with the fringe we use for boots in winter, shoes, yarn, etc. Once we vacuum-proofed the house we haven't had that issue much but it was a learning curve. Tennis shoe laces and phone charging cables left on the floor were the frequent culprits.

I was afraid it was going to trap itself under our dining room set or chairs, but it figured it out and got itself unstuck. I watched as she (I named her Eva) circled around, picking up all the dog hair and leaves it encountered. I fell in love. She doesnt do great on carpet, but I am always amazed with how much stuff is in the filter when I clear it (every 2-4 days). She did get stuck on shoelaces and cords, but she beeps when shes in trouble. I automatically set her to go while I am gone and I have only once found her stuck somewhere, every other time she is back at her hub.I am thrilled with this purchase, I no longer feel so gross about my house and love coming home to no dog hair and leaves!

Perfect "starter" robovac for the new buyer/user.
26 September 2021

I had firm intentions on splurging on a brand new and very expensive iRobot i7 ($750) to go with my new house. I've wanted to try a robovac for many years but couldn't rationalize buying one for my previous home which was much smaller. Then, I discovered the Eufy for $150 and decided to start small and test whether I liked the concept and usability of a robovac in general before buying a top-end unit. This thing has been fantastic and well worth the money I paid. The original idea was that I would try out the Eufy on the first floor which included several rooms, some carpeted, some not. If I liked the robovac experience, I would move it to the basement which is all tile floor, and then "upgrade" to the i7 for the first floor. However, from what I've seen from this ... MoreI had firm intentions on splurging on a brand new and very expensive iRobot i7 ($750) to go with my new house. However, from what I've seen from this unit, I may just stick with the Eufy for all three floors! It's quiet, the battery lasts a long time, hit has good suction power, and looks nice in black. Even with a fair number of unpacked moving boxes and random kid stuff around the floors, it worked its way around in an efficient and timely manner. With one charge it could cover a large kitchen/eating area, living room, dining room, sitting room, and hallway/foyer, as well as a small half bath if the door was left open. I was concerned it wouldn't be able to make it over the shag area rug in the living room but it covered it just fine. The unit has no mopping ability, and comes with a handheld remote control rather than an app, but not a big deal for the price of a $150. Anker proves itself a fantastic company again.

We are very happy with this solid robotic vac
1 September 2021

We have the RoboVac 11S programmed to clean every morning before we get up. When we first started using it, we had to empty the container during the cleaning cycle, but that was just because the unit was catching up with dust/dirt in areas that it could reach that we had not been cleaning. After a few days, when the system reached a steady state, the container would only be half full, and the floors are very clean. This is particularly noticeable in the kitchen, which has laminate floors. If one walks barefoot, you never feel any grit, and when wet mopping the floor, the pads also pick up less dirt - it just isn't there to pick up. If one walks barefoot, you never feel any grit, and when wet mopping the floor, the pads also pick up less dirt - it just isn't there to pick up. This unit really gets the job done. The unit is easy and convenient to control using the remote.Since it uses a random motion, rather than back and forth, it takes a while to cover a room, but since it gets stuck very seldom, and one does not have to watch it, it does not matter if it takes a bit longer to finish. We liked this unit so much we decided to buy a second unit, and decided to "move up" to the Eufy RoboVac G30. BIG MISTAKE. The G30 has an up and down pattern, not random directions, has only one of the circular brushes, not two like the 11S. Since the circular brushes are much less than half of the width of the unit, this means that about 1/2 of the path of the machine is not brushed at all. As a result, the kitchen floor is no longer as clean as it was with the 11S (with noticeable grit in places, and the pads on the wet wipe mops having to pick up much more work); one assumes that this is the same on the rugs and hardwood floors. The phone app for using the G30 is not well designed; using the 11S remote is much more convenient. The charging stations for the G30 and 11S are the same. but using either of our two charging stations in the same locations, the G30 has problems finding its way to the charging station, unlike the 11S. While the 11S seldom gets stuck somewhere, the G30 gets stuck often, in the same rooms, with no changes in furniture placement, etc. I think that the random motion of the11S might help it get out of a problematic place, an ability lost in the G30. Finally the 11S has a pre-filter that is NOT part of the G30, so the paper filter units in the 11S stay clean/can be cleaned easier, and do not have to be replaced as often.Bottom line: 11S is very good machine, and has run well since we bought it in June. Buy the 11S, avoid the G30.

Works Well (Within *Reasonable* Expectations)
7 June 2021

I've had this device for a few months now, and I'm MOSTLY satisfied. It's a robot, and right now, home-cleaning technology cannot beat an actual human being getting into nooks and crannies. However, for every day "casual" floor-sweeping, robot vacuums work well 80% of the time. BoostIQ RoboVac series seems to do the job.Tips:+ Clear the target area(s) of cables+ Be sure to empty the dirt bin and wash the filter weekly... it fills up pretty quickly.+ Try to avoid or rearrange places where the robovac can get "stuck" (for me this is the most annoying flaw). Watching the attached video, you can see that the robovac is great on flat hardwood floor, but has a hard time with sloping surfaces. Watching the attached video, you can see that the robovac is great on flat hardwood floor, but has a hard time with sloping surfaces. My Lifehack is to just raise that particular chair up on a little shoebox, and the robovac navigates normally without getting stuck.Speaking of navigation, it's pretty good at methodically sweeping around leg chairs, and any other spaces into which it can fit. I do wish it didn't just move around randomly, but could be set to go in a specific strategic pattern (like parallel strips, the way we mow our lawns and don't miss spots). This is the SECOND most annoying thing about the gadget, after its' inability to handle sloped surfaces. We all know such "lawnmower pattern" programming is possible, so the only reason I can imagine for the omission, is that they want to put it in more expensive models. Cash-grab, as usual. The performance over a light rug seems OK as well. I left the suction power as Auto, and the device auto-adjusts when it senses carpet. You can even see the real-time feedback on the remote control, pretty neat/nifty.Anyway... between the reasonable quietness, the build, and the features... Have reasonable expectations, and this gadget will work very well for you! I'll update this review in the future, as I continue to monitor the performance!
