All over pretty good and satisfied with it for the price. Door sensors are best in my opinion and the app works pretty good with it, also installation and startup are good to handle.Alarm deactivation or mode change is not working intuitive on first attempts so gotta enter code twice or more, also the beeping during the offical deactivation time is a bit annoying.Alarm noise feels very silent and i cannot let the alarm go off on 2boxes - they dont connect, they work as seperate eco systems. In the end a good info system but i guess gotta be in the toes if on vacation to call the police myself when an alarm goes off and i see /recon someone breakin in, couse the neiboughrs wont hear it.

Its very easy to configure and sharing the complete system or only some of it with say a second person is possible. Notifications works perfectly with I-phone and Apple watch. I have had your alarm system for months. The application is easy to use and I like that it arms/disarms the alarm by location. However, your alarm is completely useless and the professional monitoring services are a joke. Why?In several jurisdictions across the United States of America, the local sheriff's office usually requires residents to purchase an alarm permit. Once the permit is acquired, an alarm permit number is issued. The sheriff's office tells the resident to provide the alarm permit number to the alarm monitoring company. If there is an alarm triggered and a response is needed, the alarm monitoring company would be REQUIRED to provide the alarm permit number to the sheriff's office dispatch or they will NOT respond. You both do not offer any way for the consumer to provide you with an alarm permit number to provide to law enforcement so they will respond in case of an emergency. So what is the point of paying for professional monitoring if I can't even get a response? You're lucky it was a phone issue and not an actual emergency. What an absolute soup sandwich of a system.

This was my first purchase in my quest to eufy-fy my home, and the first part I set up.Getting the home base online is a snap, and pairing other devices to it is super easy and quick. The speaker, alarm, and setup assistant are loud and clear, and the ability to use Wi-Fi is so convenient for putting it wherever you wish. The keypad is lightweight without feeling cheap, and the option to either mount it with screws or adhesive is very convenient for those who don't want holes in their walls. I have no idea if this due to poor storage condition, an old kit, or some other accident, but I've reached out to eufy regarding the incident and expect they'll help me rectify the issue - they've always been quick and efficient in handling customer service.I would definitely recommend this for someone hoping to set up a "DIY" security system that doesn't need a professional install or a monthly contract, it's well-worth it so far!

Easy to install self monitoring system

This is a pretty good product. The app has many configurations, and there are ways to use it with Echo, HASS and HomeKit, although limited.Few things why you might want to look elsewhere:- security alarm from homebase will not wake you up unless it's right next to you. Eufy doorbell has solid volume but cannot be connected as alarm device to existing homebase.- security issue that they are yet to fix (year+): if someone steals your outdoor camera and presses reset on that camera, the footage from homebase will be gone and you will never know who stole it. No chances to recover it either, since resetting will unlink it from your account.I like customizations and also $5/month plan for self monitoring and dispatching cops. I like it overall, but let's focus on things that you wouldn't read on the box:- enabling alarm / switching mode is through entering your code, and sometimes you have to start over if mode has changed again due to your automation (reasonable, however enabling alarm should be just a single button press I think)- app will give you Home, Away, Scheduled, Off, Geo and custom modes. I love that, but buttons on keypad will only allow to switch between home, away and off modes (I use Scheduled and I must use app for that, making keypad a bit useless; didn't find a way to program Home button to something else)- the alarm from homebase is as quiet as my phone on mid-volume. I don't even hear it behind doors. I only kept it for notifications on my phone and $5/month ... MoreI like it overall, but let's focus on things that you wouldn't read on the box:- enabling alarm / switching mode is through entering your code, and sometimes you have to start over if mode has changed again due to your automation (reasonable, however enabling alarm should be just a single button press I think)- app will give you Home, Away, Scheduled, Off, Geo and custom modes. Not Intended to Protect Valuables

Don't expect something at this price level to protect thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of belongings.1. The Home Base's alarm is miserably weak. You can have it in one room, close the door to that room, and not even be able to hear it outside of the room. It will not be enough to alert virtually anyone. Supposedly Eufy was working on a standalone, stronger, higher-decibel alarm to accompany. But that was more than a year ago, so it looks like Eufy has moved on to other product developments, instead.2. The entry sensors are okay. But the magnet-side is incredibly bulky, for just a magnetic. So much so that you cannot attach it to any interior door frame that is not 100% flush with the door. Most people have a scalloped frame around their door on the inside of their home. If you're one of these people, you will not be able to place one of these entry sensors on your door, rendering the entire system pretty much useless - you'll know if someone is very careful to specifically break a window, reach inside of it, unlock it, and then push it up and open. But practically nothing else.

Saved my home!

I purchased this recently, more for piece of mind than anything else as I live on my own with my small child. Easy to install and the app functions well. Went away for a couple of days to stay with a friend and at about 9pm one night the notifications triggered on my phone. As I had paired with a camera I could see someone had broken into my house and triggered the motion sensor. Because of the swift alerting process I was able to immediately call the police who arrived on scene within minutes and apprehended the burglar. This I am told is a rarity when it comes to burglary. It is all thanks to the Eufy system that I knew what was happening and was able to contact the police who responded in record time. eufy 5-Piece Smart Security Home Alarm Kit - Great Buy!
21 April 2023

The eufy 5-Piece Smart Security Home Alarm Kit was a perfect fit/system for our house and gives us multiple control options over setting, unsetting and checking the house status. The hub allows us to connect our eufy cameras, doorbell and door sensors to have one central platform system for our whole house security.Only thing which could be better, the alarm pad, camera and sensors are battery powered so needs recharging but after 1yr so minimal maintenance in between.

I had done a LOT of readings on a system to use in our newly constructed senior townhome. I did not want to pay for monitoring: $15-40/mon is a rip off in these days of instant cell phone connections (if we are gone our son in town can watch as well). We'd had Eufy doorbell cam in our old house and it worked quite well so based on cost and function decided on this vs other brands. So far it works very well, no false alarms unless I forget to undo when I walk in the door! The interior siren is quite loud, at least for a townhome. The door sensors are a little large (clunky) looking. It integrates well with our new Eufy video doorbell and Google Home.
