While I want to like this product, the hardware is great, the disjointed and terrible software of the Eufy security products make them a sub par product. I can't create automations with the wired doorbell because it doesn't connect to homebase, so it can't work with the rest of the security products and can't use the same facial system. The battery powered does work with homebase (Makes no sense that one can and the other can't work with it, give the option to tie it to homebase!) But it still can't work with homebase 3.It continues to see my doormat as a package with no ability to tell it that is not a package.I have already been annoyed at the absolute ignoring of customers in providing real integration into Google and smart things. I purchased the Eufy doorbell to replace my Ring Doorbell because I don’t need to pay a subscription every month. I purchased the Pro 2 with dual cameras. The doorbell comes with its own chime. The chime options are limited and even at low volume it is very loud. I thought I could use my existing chime but when I called Eufy support, I was told that it is not an option. Very disappointed. Ring gives you a mini transformer that you wire to your existing chime (for extra power) instead of the jumper Eufy gives you to bypass your chime. Apparently Eufy isn’t that sophisticated.

During the installation I had to upgrade the transformer. After bypassing the buzzer doorbell, the dual video doorbell work as breeze. Love seeing the spilt screen.Eufy will be giving me a refund of the S300 battery dual video doorbell. Extremely happy with the product and the awesome, amazing customer services that I have received as I have e-mailed multiple e-mails to ask questions, to trouble shoot the 1st installation before receiving the replacement S300 wired dual video doorbell, how to bypass the old fashion buzzer doorbell to understanding the process to get a refund of the battery dual video doorbell. Awesome product and now I can see the packages on the steps / front porch and I can see if anyone take a package from the front porch.

I have been using it for about a week. This is my first doorbell cam so I can't compare it to the competition. The image quality is great. Installation was fairly easy. I am giving it 4 stars (instead of 5) for two reasons. First, the website seems to be out of date and has limited information and sometimes conflicting information. More importantly, since the graphics memory is on the doorbell, it seems that any thief worth his salt could disconnect the doorbell from the mounting bracket in about 5 seconds using a paper clip. He can then take the doorbell and any recorded video with him (or her) as he makes his escape.
I purchased this to replace the smart doorbell that came with my home. After doing fairly extensive research and reading reviews I settled on this doorbell.Pros: Fairly easy to install and set up (house was pre wired), the view is great! It is not grainy or laggy, notifies me when necessary (when someone walks by) not when it doesn’t matter (when a car drives by). The package protection system is a nice touch as well.Cons: Kind of bulky (there are much smaller options), hard to talk to someone through the microphone.Overall it is a no brainer for me, I have no desire to pay monthly to see what is free with this doorbell!

I have gotten notices of human activity but because of the range, it just might be picking up people walking on the side walk, as no video shows anyone walking up to the door. The 15 degree wedge works perfectly for my front door configuration. Two things to be aware of re your WiFi: 1) the doorbell only works on a 2.4 gigahertz bandwidth. If it's a 5 gig then it won't work. All in all a great purchase.
Replacing a nest hello doorbell that I refuse to pay $80/year for video for. Tried blink but its motion detection was flaky and typically would not save clips for motion detection. Fed up with the blink ordered this on and glad I did. Built in storage saves clips w/o subscription.This has person (human) detection and will reliably save clips based on detection. Like that I can set to human only detection vs. just motion in general (which I am not really interested in). Dual camera is awesome, never had a view of the base of the door before.My only negative for eufy is no IFTTT support. So far this doorbell CAM is GREAT. It puts Blink and Ring to shame with it's better video resolution. AND IT'S NO FEES!!!!! Install was a breeze, except it did have a small issue of reading the QRC code because it's in black on the back of the CAM. Once I got it in better light, it worked. Did not puts stars on the tech support, because I did not need to use them, so do not know if they are good or not.I'm impressed so far. Hopefully it will serve me well like all my other EUFY CAMS. Definitely recommend over WYZE, BLINK, RING., others I've tried.
I selected this version of a security doorbell not only because of its options but because it's specifically stated Internet not required. No monthly plan required. Unfortunately I learned the hard way by ordering the product, paying for it, waiting for delivery and now that it's here, I find after having to speak with a representative that all of their products require Wi-Fi !!! Also the setup instructions are convoluted and all hardware is not provided for proper setup. I am hesitant about companies who are just out to make a sale and don't care about the consumer. I do not recommend purchasing anything from eufy!
I really enjoyed this product, it worked well, installation was a breeze, I never had any connection issues and it has great image quality. However, a year and a week after purchasing the product it completely stopped working. I’ve checked the power source, wired connections, and tried resetting using the USB connector for power and no dice. It is unfortunate because I really enjoyed the product, but it lasting a week past the warranty date and dying, and no help from customer service makes me want to try other options. If you do purchase this product I would recommend going with the battery/wired version, not the wired option.
