I own a EUFYCAM 2C security system with 3 battery-powered cameras. I purchased this doorbell as an add-on device, so it uses my already existing HomeBase 2. It works well and was easy to install. I'm using it as a wired unit and it's connected to my own doorbell. It was easy to set up, create a security zone and adjust all features necessary. It's also 2K video quality. I get notified immediately if someone approaches the front door and/or rings the doorbell. I replaced a RING doorbell because they want to start charging about $40 per year to record videos of what the doorbell sees. I'm very happy with this purchase and intend to add other EUFY components as I need them. EUFY makes terrific products!

Own 4 floodlights, 2 doorbells, and a cam inside. All are a piece of shit! Only record well never now!!!! Floodlights will not even connect anymore! Constantly messing with home base, and resetting them! Huge headache, and biggest waste of money I ever invested!!!! Should have just spent the couple extra dollars for a premium reliable system!!!!! Do not waste your time, and money on this bunk system!!!!!!!!

However, I'm very happy with this system and have added other Eufy cameras to the system and am very pleased with them all.

Wonderful night vision, audio quality is great and best of all very little lag between the live action and the video stream on your phone.This links to the Eufy security app, which allows you to customize the motion detection. This is via activity zones that you can fine tune. The software has “ai” that can help distinguish human movement as opposed to say a tree branch moving, which is helpful is filtering out false notifications. The software also allows various “states” so you can have customized settings depending on if you are at home or away from home.My only gripe with this was that it’s not HomeKit compatible but I believe it does work with Alexa and google systems. Eufy are investigating if this can be HomeKit compatible.Overall fantastic doorbell!
This doorbell works great. It gets a separate photo of the face of the person at the door so you know exactly what they look like. I like that it has audio, so you can hear everything going on the whole time and can also talk through it. The doorbell chime works through the home base and has tons of options for what kind of sound. The chime also comes through my phone so wherever I am in the house, I can hear it. Just like the regular pro cameras, the doorbell was super simple to install and use. I use the doorbell with the 3 pack of pro eufy cameras. They all work together and I have not had any issues with any of it. I even have the eufy robot vacuum.
The video and picture quality is clear in color or infrared black and white. During day even though there is strong light from sun coming from the bwck if a person aporoaching the camera, the person is not dark, but in color and clear to see. You can adjust its motion sensing triggerring range and you can adjust the outside and inside door chime volume separately. They volume can be set very load to barely heard , even to off. Very eady tp set up and install. Has great angke of view verticalky and horizontally. Got it at a great price. I already owned the base station with other cameras

Pros: Easy to install and set up. App is straight forward and works well. Good quality images. Camera covers all of front door and drive area. Push notifications immediate and when someone presses bell you can interact straight away from your phone. Battery life excellent, very quick and easy to charge when needed (which isn’t often).Cons: By the time it recognises movement, the recording doesn’t start until the person is up close and/or walking away from door. The blue light up circle around the doorbell button is only obvious at night. The button is so smooth and streamlined it’s not obvious to some visitors during daylight it can be pressed.

This one was too sensitive, it tracked every car driving past our house, so I changed the setting to AI/ face recognition. SO now I get walkers, people on bikes and visitors. Its alot better than 50+ alerts a day for passing cars. The battery does NOT last 120 much less 180 days as advertised, I get between 15-30 days between charges. the doorbell works great, cam video is excellent, night vision is also fantastic. It is sensitive enough so you cannot rush and remove the cam before it activates. In 5 months I had only 2 "ghost" rings.
