Pros:Grinds great for espresso at a reasonable price point.Cons:There's no memory for dialing. If you need to adjust the dial to more than 2 positions, it will be kind of painful.Other thoughts:This is a manual grinder. There's a button in the front of the machine that you push your portafilter against. The "holder" is there just to help you push the button.Do NOT adjust the dial when the machine is not on. Nothing will happen. Only adjust the dial when you hear the machine whirring. Clockwise is tigher/finer. Counterclockwise is looser. If you adjust the grind-size too fine, it will start making a weird sound. I usually stop before then, so I can't tell you what happens if you keep turning the dial. You CAN single dose with this machine. There is a plastic stopper between the basket and the machine you can use to prevent additional beans from falling down. You can fit about 12 grams of beans at a time under the stopper, but of course you can still single dose more than 12 grams.

Amazing what is left in the grinder. This thing WORKS.
first thing I did was blow out all the old coffee in the grinder and it was a lot. now that I think about it I've been drinking some old coffee everyday, yuk. very simple and easy to use and well made . don't know why this is not standard with home eureka grinders.
Grind setting takes gettingvused to as multiple turns of the wheel are needed.
Good looking and well-built grinder. Really consistent and has low retention.
Makes a world of difference. If you’re hesitating, don’t. Purchase it. Coffee is extremely fine and fluffy, the machine itself is super quiet and well built.
Overall a great product, as advertised, nice looking, heavy, silent, efficient and accurate with the timing, however it has a few shorcomings:- it is not suitable for grindimg only small amounts (e.g) 20g and changing between types of cofee due to high retention and “popcorning”, you need to fill at least 50g or more.-The plastic lid is not tight and vibrates when grinding, making more noise than the grinder itself-the cofee container closing lid did not slide very well into place, but it is not that important
Very good espresso grinder. Grinds are produced quickly in a direct spout, without much clumping. Not ideal for single dosing without modding and retention is a little inconsistent, but for the price point there are very few home espresso grinders that will produce these results.
