I really appreciate that the new model does not cover both of my outlets.The setup process quick and intuitive. I use it to control my office lamp and verbally telling Siri to turn my light on and off is such a hands-free convenience! It's the little things in life :)I love the ability to schedule the lights on and off at different times. When I'm traveling, folks will think someone is at home. That feature alone sold me on Eve Energy!

The Eve Energy plug has a nice design. I purchased this because it has the latest Matter over Thread protocol. Setup was easy & quick and I liked that I didn't have to register or give my email or other details. Eve clearly values customer privacy.I also like the Energy Monitoring functionality. I can now monitor my energy consumption and I'm more aware of my energy consumption habits. I find myself cutting back on energy usage as a result. I also like the Eve App and the voice control and ability to set schedules.I would highly recommend the Eve Energy plug!

With the 4K Apple TV and a house full of i devices the Matter format made the most sense even though it's not the cheapest option. Very easy to set up, enables all the available smarts in the Apple Home app. Very satisfied.

Eve products are junk. Smart plug won’t staff connected. I will be returning this pos today!Buyers beware!
Useful upgrades from the original versions (Matter, full 10A rating, explicit to the second time logging), but the size of the unit makes it unwieldily. Notably it unnecessarily makes the second outlet inaccessible in an Australian standard double wall outlet.
I purchased these as Eve devices seem to be solid, in my experience. These are not, however. These work well as a switch on a matter enabled home but energy reporting is hit or miss. They often fail in older homes. You may find reports on line of stressless setup but my two plugs refuse to provide energy usage data. They work fine as a smart switch. I've broken down the home, factory reset the plugs and AppleTV a couple times without joy. Eve support is not very supportive.
I purchased a couple of these for my greenhouse, we have been using previous versions without issue. I like the energy reports as a way to verify whatever is plugged in is working as expected. These are sensitive enough for me to tell when a bulb burns out.If you intend to use these in HomeKit, be aware that the energy data transport can be confused during initial setup by multiple active homes. You will have to disable other homes while setting these up. They tend to take several hours to initially resolve the network. Once set up you can re-enable the other homes.If you are using these in other smart homes, not an issue as you don't get energy data anyway. I've had a few of these. Matter takes awhile, maybe an hour, to connect. Be sure you only have one home visible to them during connection for best results. Once connected, they work fine. The Eve iPhone app displays history, iPad app does not.

It will be nice to see the energy usage of my outlets. We have aquariums and heaters and this will help me figure out where the big energy output is happening, ultimately to use more efficient methods of keeping our fish and reptiles warm. Easy to set up. Fast response times. Works great with automations in Home app on iPhone. Requires a thread router, we use HomePod mini.
