Pros: the battery lasts a month or more. Cons: I don’t see how or what goes into the air quality rating. I’d like to see what it’s rating is evaluating, and also what it’s not (ex. Radon?). For price, it’s compact and long lasting battery...just not sure if I bought an overpriced temperature station or a true air quality monitor.

I am reviewing the EVE room indoor air quality monitor.Very easy to set up. Included with monitor is a micro usb charger cable. I plugged into my iPhone charger. It took an hour to charge. A full charge will last 6 weeks. The device is small and would go with any decor. Light weight and can be displayed in any room. I have it in my Living room.I downloaded the Eve room app. Open the app and tap add accessory. It will now guide through the setup process. Use the Eve app to add the device and it will add also to Apple Home app on your iOS device.After trial and error using the Eve app, use Settings to Add Accessory. When the accessory is found on the screen press it’s icon on the left to pair it with your iOS device then scan the Apple HomeKit code on the card inside the box then complete. If it cannot find it, follow reset instructions.Overall, I am satisfied with the product working with the app at this time.
This sensor is pretty straight forward, you just plug it in to charge and place it in a room in your house. I’m currently using mine in the living room. I downloaded the Eve app then scan the barcode on the device. It tells the temperature, humidity and air quality in the room. The battery lasts for several weeks before it needs to be charged again. The only con for me is that it doesn’t have any back light. I can’t see it when the room is dark.
I bought a second Eve after getting the first. The device is nicely designed, small, and runs for about a month on a battery charge (maybe longer). I like having the temperature, humidity, and air quality all on the same device that I can access via Bluetooth on my phone and see a nice set of graphs. You have several options as to what/how it displays the data. I like having the temperature as the largest item, then the stars for air quality, and the humidity smaller.

My daughter and I suffer from allergies so I was very interested in trying this product. We have expensive air purifiers throughout our home and I change the main HVAC filter every 3 or so months. Being able to get a read on air quality and humidity is incredibly helpful to our health. I did not get it to automate other products so I can’t speak to that aspect. But for the monitoring and ease of use it seems like a pretty cool items use in conjunction with your home with other air purification devices.
